Great cars, my first car was a ED Fairmont, currently own a 1981 FC LTD and its amazing how much more refined my partners EA Series 2 S Pac is to the LTD, big performance advantage too.
Since having currently a EA series 2 at home, for a 34 year old car its great, yeah my current ED Fairmont Ghia is beautiful and even more refined but the EA has comfier seats and smoother ride, and the EA is better on the juice too.
Love the early E series Falcons, great cars.
Great video! Great example too! I'd personally prefer a leather interior any day. They aren't absorbent like the velour and cloth trims, no matter how much you clean them, after 30+ years of absorbing sweat and god knows what other bodily fluids, farts, sharts, spillages etc..
Very nice car Max I remember when the E-series came out, back then it seemed like we'd always have local car manufacturing so its fairly sad seeing what we've come to. My parents bought a NA series 2 Fairlane from City Ford Box Hill and that was the most comfortable car I've ever driven just used to float along the road, it had the 3.9L multipoint & fancy 4 speed auto. E-series tend to be a rare sight these days so its great that your enjoying yours, as you say it feels similar to a modern day car without feeling ancient like something from the 60's or 70's. PS regarding your question at the end maybe your planning an outing with other E-series hmmm not sure...
What springs are you running?
Wow. From someone who actually grew up and drove XB, XE, XF and beyond, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
@@maxgalrodbacon is hard , he gets up in the morning, Fry's his egg on the exhaust manifold and deep frys his bacon in the sump
Great vid. Love the car
One point, unlike the Holden 5L, the ford 5L is based off the same windsor V8 from the fox body Mustangs. Minor differences, but more or less the same as the American design.
Love my ed
My 94 ED had driver’s airbag and ABS, which would be a good idea for a P plater! Mine was white and 5 speed too.
My Dad had a 1990 EA series ll Ford Fairmont Ghia Sky metallic Blue - some point one day I will probably one day down track end up buying one myself given the I am extremely close to my Dad - one person that supports me and looks after me given the I do suffer depression/mental health issues too, I'm on a DSP and make the most of what I've got too.
I hope you are doing well anyway mate and I hope also you have had those bastards the tried to steal your WRX arrested by the police plus your car is being fixed by your insurance company ??

Yesterday, I uploaded 3 videos.
The videos are from when I was on my last year's road trip in November to Ceduna and back.
Beauty my mate owned one that colour. Vid on that coming very soon. Will check your vids out
Falcon was never really all new, except in 1960
Same basic platform/dimensions from 1960-2015.
I don't hate them but they are lazy and use more fuel than my V8 let alone it's competitors.
ive got a eb gt. i think there all snot box's haha. but still a good lookin car for there time
Mate gts are sick as. Stole the wheels
