    I am currently in the works of building one of these. If I may ask, could you provide the materials? The siding specifically, I cannot find it anywhere. Was it expensive? Is there things you may have wanted to do differently? I hope this comment is seen, amazing build and I’m more than willing to follow that step!!

    • @lifesendeavors
      @lifesendeavors  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We used 2" square tubing for the main frame, then filled it with 1" square tubing for the in between. We used polystyrene insulation in walls, floors, and ceiling. For the siding we used aluminum sheets we found on Amazon here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C7ZJL96/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      We spent roughly 15,000 on the entire build not including the cost of the trailer.
      As far as things we would do differently we don't really have anything yet, we don't have enough storage yet, but we are soon to improve on that.
      I hope that helps!

      @@lifesendeavors awesome pretty close to what I was planning I love it thanks for the info. Did you frame the overhang with 2x2 tubing as well? was contemplating adding essentially body mount bushings to have the gooseneck hold the cabover weight.

    What's your tow vehicle and it's tow capacity also what's the weight of the trailer with all the weight on it?

    • @lifesendeavors
      @lifesendeavors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our tow vehicle is a 2015 F250 short bed extended cab with a 6.2 gas. The trailer and camper combined weigh 9000lbs. With 2 four wheelers and the side by side loaded and all of our gear were pushing 12,000lbs. The towing capacity on our truck is 13,000lbs.

    You've had it up to 80 miles an hour ?? Not wise at all.

    • @lifesendeavors
      @lifesendeavors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We primarily run it about 60mph. But yes, what ty was getting at is that it is built well enough to handle the speed (it wont fall apart) and to explain that it pulls and handles great even at higher speeds and on terrible roads. No need for judgement.
