What a great project. I'm think of something similar. Build mine on the front of the trailer so I can load my sxs behind it. Kinda like a mini crawler hauler.
Hell yeah! Do it! We originally had ours much further up but that placed to much weight on the tongue. I learned the rule of thumb is about 10% of the gross weight should be on the tongue.
I subscribed because I loved the way you built your camper 2x4 and 2x6 it looked like in the ceiling, tough to take the bouncing in the woods. I am very interested in how you wired it up with the floating neutral, I'm not an electrician just a retired Welder but I have done some of my own basic electrical work. Anyway great build and looking forward to more from this channel.
Thank you for the comment. Glad you like what we are doing. The 2x6’s in the ceiling and all hung with joist hangers and we haven’t had any issues yet. We will put out a video on the electric early this week. I hope it helps.
Just a suggestion - you might want to slow down when moving around inside the camper part (2:36 - 2:58) - the speed you moved the camera made things blurry and made me dizzy watching.
Stop whining lady...the video was wonderful...most people do pan fast since people's attention span is not long... You said it made you dizzy...good grief...quit bitching

Haha, Nothing special to tow with just a 1500 with a v8 5.3. Camper weights around 4,000 lbs.
How much weight would you guess to make that camper to weigh?
Did you make this with any pitch on the roof or just use the jack, etc, to give it a pitch?
