I do feel in HIT & RUN there are some QUESTION MARKS as to whether the rule about making each crossing in a certain amount of time is really fair or not, yes because it adds more fun to the game, but no as the Gladiators could deliberately swing the balls right in front of you delaying your momentum for getting across to the other side in time.
In HIT & RUN I guess the Demolition Balls don't do much swinging other than forward & back, the rule about the contenders not being allowed to stop on the bridge is put in place for that reason.
In all fairness with Terry's Run in HIT & RUN Spartan threw the ball in front of him assuming he was going to run full pelt across the bridge, but Terry didn't make effort to run past it once it had missed him. In Case of 6 OF 1 & HALF A DOZEN OF THE OTHER in my opinion, I'll leave to you to decide if it was fair or not, but at the same time you can also decide if Terry should've been allowed to keep THE 6-8 POINTS he scored up to the point he was DQ.
If this had been the 1ST REVIVAL I would've removed ALL POINTS as the rule of making each crossing within 7-8 SECONDS wasn't in place at that point, but for the 2ND REVIVAL where it was I would've been more generous and allowed THE POINTS TO STAND.
The problem is that they are told that if a contender OR gladiator fall off they have to go back to the start of that section. Yes he prob would have been caught by the gladiator but he sill would have had the 2 points. Because he didn't go back to the start of the balance beam, it has to be a DQ.
HIT & RUN might've been fairer if would The Rules were like this:- If The Contenders Make A Crossing They Get 2 POINTS & If They Do It Before The Light Goes Out They Get 4 POINTS So In The Women's Event KATHRYN Made 5 Crossings ALL DOUBLE POINT SCORING That Makes The Scores:- BECKY 0 POINTS & KATHRYN 20 POINTS And In The Men's Event KRIS Made 6 Crossing ALL DOUBLE POINT SCORING TERRY Made 5 Crossings 10 POINTS, 4 Were DOUBLE-POINT SCORING So That Would've Been 8 EXTRA POINTS Giving Him A TOTAL Of 18 POINTS However TERRY Was DISQUALIFIED For Breaking The Rules Of STOPPING ON THE BRIDGE So He LOSES ALL 18 POINTS That Would Make The Scores:- KRIS 24 POINTS & TERRY 0 POINTS:-(DISQUALIFIED)
In fairness again looking at the replay of Terry's HIT & Run, he makes no attempt to keep running which allows him to gain a unfair advantage over the Gladiators who throw the demolition balls.

WOW! He's making the rules very well like John Anderson before he retired.
I quite liked John Coyle, he stayed in the background more like a real ref should unlike John Anderson at times who liked to participate too much.
Did Wolf just joined in with the Referee's "Keep Moving!" Command?
Finally Doom got to compete

Woomph there it is

Inferno is hot.
KRIS should've been allowed to keep THE 2 POINTS he scored up to the point he broke the rules in PURSUIT.

Also similarly with Terry in Hit and Run - ignored the rules and the referee's instructions to keep moving. DQ and lost 6 points as a result.
HIT & RUN might've been fairer if would The Rules were like this:-
If The Contenders Make A Crossing They Get 2 POINTS & If They Do It Before The Light Goes Out They Get 4 POINTS
So In The Women's Event KATHRYN Made 5 Crossings ALL DOUBLE POINT SCORING
That Makes The Scores:- BECKY 0 POINTS & KATHRYN 20 POINTS
And In The Men's Event KRIS Made 6 Crossing ALL DOUBLE POINT SCORING
TERRY Made 5 Crossings 10 POINTS, 4 Were DOUBLE-POINT SCORING So That Would've Been 8 EXTRA POINTS Giving Him A TOTAL Of 18 POINTS
However TERRY Was DISQUALIFIED For Breaking The Rules Of STOPPING ON THE BRIDGE So He LOSES ALL 18 POINTS
That Would Make The Scores:- KRIS 24 POINTS & TERRY 0 POINTS:-(DISQUALIFIED)
