As for the celebrating, Spartan had the contender caught outside the scoring zone, so even if he would have just hung onto the contender, he would have left him with zero points! That means he is perfectly entitled to celebrate! Of course, we like to see Spartan finishing off the contender properly, and he was always going to take him down into the pool!
