One of the best comments I've heard in a long while is 3:48 when you say "This is because the fact that I was out exercising was far more important than the number on the scale". Well done and thank you for sharing.
Wish there were more videos like this. You're doing it the right way. Concentrating on fitness and health. Doing it like this probably means you will be healthier for longer. Making it part of your lifestyle.
Bro, fantastic video! Cheers! I've been an avid work out guy for 12 years now. I have recently placed a big emphasis on biking. Invested money and time in gear. In the past month I've love 8+lbs. I look forward to pushing myself further.
I have just started cycling myself. I’m a 43 year old bloke who hasn’t exercised in years. I weigh just over 120kg. My butt hurts from the saddle and my thighs are killing me but I’m glad to finally do something about the weight. Can you describe how it was for you when you started?
My experience was very much the same at first. Though it does get better! If you can afford it, get a bike fit. If not, there are tonnes of videos out there that can help you get your bike setup into a comfortable. It’s sounds like your saddle might be too low.
I am watching this cuz I gain 10kg in 1 year of University . Actually, I have 2 month of holiday before 2nd year starts. Planning to lose 15kg in 2 months... Hopefully I reach my goal .
What difference do you think the exercise made like do you think that was the biggest factor in losing weight? Like if I eat at maintenance but cycle for miles and miles will the weight fall off? Thank you and keep up the good work I subscribed
I think exercise made the most difference to my motivation and mental well being. To a point cycling more will help you lose weight, but if you don’t fuel correctly it may have the opposite effect. I’ve found more recently that a well balanced diet (less sugar, more whole grains, healthy fats and protein) and focusing on body composition might be a better way forward. And then just enjoying cycling!
Great video man! I wanted to ask, what type of bike did you get at first? I want to start cycling in order to lose weight too, but I'm worried about finding a strong enough bike 😅

How’s the weight loss going now. Maintaining?
A year on and I’m a couple of kilos lighter, though it hasn’t been a smooth road.
Nice one Ryan. That's a great achievement. I need to join you on that mission :-)
How about cycle without gears good for fatloss? Or it is the gear cycle which makes you ride long and help in fat loss?
Great video man! I wanted to ask, what type of bike did you get at first? I want to start cycling in order to lose weight too, but I'm worried about finding a strong enough bike 😅
I started with a mountain bike with slick tyres. Upgraded to a Aluminium road bike after 6 months or so.

Hello ...i ride MTB gearless for about and hour around 8kms ....will it help me lose weight?
How are you going now?
how tall are you ?
6ft
Keep pedaling... and club racing... the pounds will melt away. Intelligent eating helps.
Do some fasted cycling in the morning, along with some coffee and some salt ( don't down it). Happy to see the results!
Great suggestion!
Love the hat!
That’s the shittiest rosetta pour i seen, but nice content otherwise haha
It makes me cringe thinking that me 3 years ago thought that was even worth putting in the video!
