I like the mechanical improvements you're thinking about doing, but to be honest I wouldn't touch the exterior, it already looks stellar with those wheels! But of course, the car is yours, do what you like. I own a W124 in that same color, and the build quality of these cars is second to none... Enjoy it!
Personally I love the Evo one kit, possibly with an Evo 2 front bumper. Did you see Hedgehogs Motor Sport do a carbon bonnet or should I say hood and boot lid too?
Don’t Evo convert such a clean car. It looks perfect!

Personally EVO 1 > EVO 2. Much more understated. Search up RWB 190E, it is the most gorgeous car on the 17'' HWA Asteroid wheels.
