I ordered one then canceled, happy with Rasp Pi, but good to see a tut on this.
Now we basically just need a 3D print that attaches to the console and hides everything. Plugs into USB for power, providing USB dock for missing port, ethernet port etc etc.
I bought the Luckfox pico max and made a 3d printable case for it. Best compact solution ever!! I just plug it out when it finishes the exploit, attaching it would be redundant imo.

What about it? It's also good. The new jailbreak requires an Ethernet port and this is only for the curious people on 9.00. For a 9.00 esp32-s2 is still recommended.

Is the Luckfox pico Plus (used in this video) much worst than Luckfox pico Max for the jailbreak? I'm planning to get one but I don't know which of them.
Buy the pro/max version. It's way better n not much expensive than the plus version. It has a built-in OS in the nand, so, you dont need a sd card, just transfer the files n install. It takes ~1m30s since you see the PS boot logo

@@EntaoBlzEntao max version is overkill since the extra memory is for the camera kit so the pro version is all you need.
Great video! I just got mine all set up Friday evening. I hear there’s a new update that no longer requires SD card? Could you provide an updated video on how to reset LuckFox and set up with no SD card please? I’ve also noticed when console is in rest mode the LuckFox Pico will turn back on after setting it to power off on successful attempt. Is this a known issue and has been fixed?

Hi, @moddedwarfare Can you play 2 players on a remote play, or you can just use 1 user at a time? I found out that I could not connect 2 controllers when I was remote-playing, is there a fix or it's just like that?
don't think it is 2 player local but I believe you can log in with 2 different remote plays at the same time though..

If you are on 9.00 don’t update to 11.00 9.00 is more stable and able to run from a usb

bro. when I tried connect my luckfox, I get an error saying lan cable is not connected. My ps4 lan port is working fine.

Second time loading it from start up took 23 seconds with a max on 9.00, completely nuts. Might update it soon to 11.00
I'm on 11.00 (Luckfox pico Max) and success rate varies from 1-5 attempts, but its fast 20-25 seconds per attempt at most.
I cant seem to find anything about that, but my luckfox does not show up when i log into the router, installed it many times over still didnt work
With the luckfox WiFi version. Is it possible to hook up the ps4 via ethernet and use the WiFi to get an Internet connection for the ps4?

The commands after 8:23 are necessary to install thee PI Pwn and configure it to run once the Pi is turned on. Also, there`s a config that checks if the Ps4 ins Pwned. So once you turn the Ps4 on, just have to wait the script run with success

i think in goldhen settings there is an option to enable FTP, so you could do something that downloads, then ftp over.

you can set it up that it turns off when the exploit is done so you can leave it on the ps4

also keep in mind that there is a new command to run that is way faster, and it asks u which fw u want to run

@@Q8DespairI leave the usb cable and lan cable connected to the chip. so like the next time I turn on the ps4 I don't need to do anything and just wait for the jailbreak to happen right?

Oh boy, I accidentally ran she Soc Toolkit SD Boot to my external HDD and now Windows sees it as a RAW file system and won't see any of my files. Is there a way to undo the process? I tried the Restore SD button but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

RPi Zero for 9.00 and that's it. Much faster than this.
9.00 method was way simpler than this. they just had to open web and insert a usb nothing else but here u have to open ur computer every single time. this is the reason why im not jailbreaking rn
@@vijjwalgupta I received my Luckfox Pico when this video was published and tried it the same night. It made the process so much simpler. I can move the PS4 now away from my pc. (It is a brand new PS4 Slim with fw10.01 so I had no other choice).

Just plug the power cable to your PS4's USB port. It will booting up when PS4 turning on or restart.

Hi I have tried connecting my luckfox pico pro max via putty I got the black screen asking for user name. I typed pico, then it asked for the password, I tried to type luckfox, but it wouldn't let me type anything, beyond that point. I have been trying for hours now, and cant understand what's wrong. Any help would be much appreciated, regards Andy
Is it really that hard for people to find an ethernet cable, they are pretty cheap.
It'll be really cool to have an updated video to do the same using luckfox but WITHOUT the SD card, using only the internal flash memory

Having an exploit for OFW 11.00 is a blessing but honestly - jailbreaking via a router port sucks - slow, unstable and currently so finicky!

Hi I have been following your steps but when I want to connect to the luckfor.lan is says network error: time out. I try to use the Ip address I get to same error how to you connect
so, you can just leave the things plugged in? no more waiting until message pops up and unplug usb drive and stuff?
If goldhen is not yet on the ps4 then you need it on a spereate usb stick and plug both into the ps4. After that you only need to plug in luckfox if you turn off the ps4.

It doesn't support 11.50. If jailbreak is a must for you sell this and get a 11.00

Yes, if you don't put it in sleep mode, you need to plug the luckfox in again.
