if you cannot just transfer the folders into the side panel after connecting to ssh in flash version. right click and create new directories, copy the file structure of the pppwn-luckfox-main folder, only create the stage1/2 folder version you are using (mine was 1100), then right clock to download the files into each corresponding folder. i couldnt just drag and i dont know why but this worked for me. also, so people are mentioning you cant run the jb if you have already jailbroken with other methods. well you can, just make sure you copy the new payload into a usb drive for the fist run and it will save into your HDD, from then you dont have to use the usb drive again. also, if you have a new luckyfox, go ahead and reflash the firmware anyway. i had a new MAX flash version that wouldnt connect to moba on stock so i had to follow the entire guide beginning with installing the firmware on the luckyfox.
Can confirm. Also had a new luckfox max and I had to reflash or NDIS connection won't show. Although I'm still getting failed at the end. Maybe because I used the LGtv jailbreak method?
I finally got this fng thing to work after many tries. A few things not mentioned in the video. I have the newer luckfox but still had to flash it anyways because it had nothing on it brand new. If you're getting errors flashing with the SocToolkit with can't read error and it won't complete, try swapping the usb-c cable. When the NDIS ethernet connection don't show up on my laptop, I tried it on another PC and it showed up. It was weird as the NDIS connection would show, dissappear, then after like 2 minutes it shows up permanently. (took me awhile to figure this out). On Modded's video, his NDIS connection says enabled, while mine says unidentified network/identifying, if you look in the github this is normal. If the tv icons is colored (not grayed out), its actually enabled. Right click + properties, it would also show if enabled. Lastly I used the LG Tv jailbreak method right before I got the luckfox to work without any changes. So it looks like it works if you've used another jailbreak method beforehand.

For those who got stuck waiting for the ethernet to show up, this is what worked for me! So I unplugged it and plugged the pico plus back in (while holding the button) and plugged in the ethernet cable into my computer and the pico plus. Then I hit download again to redo the download and after it restarted the board it worked.
Also it can take a couple tries for the luckfox to break through! My ps4 told me like 6 times it couldn't connect to the internet before it finally said the luckfox notice
Best JB imho, I have 2 pro's one on 9.00 and second on 11.00 and powering on and waiting for Jailbreak is just better, I will order second luckfox for my 9.00
Hmm. I just use a esp32-s2 mini and gets my ps4 jailbroken in under 15 seconds after the dashboard screen loads. Why would I want to wait 1 to 2 minutes.
Hello modded warfare.. Finally i got my luckfox gadget, i tried this method and i wanna share my experience with you.. First the jailbreak is now is faster than a pc.. However when I turned on my console after i turned off, it took me to repair hard drive each time One more thing is the sleeping mode.. The luckfox turned on after going to sleeping mode.. I answer myself hehe, after some tests, I think what happens is that if your luckfoxpico remains on when you turn off the ps4, the console detects something in the network cable and stays with the white light flashing, what I did was disconnect the network cable from the pico and turn off the play4 and it turned off without problems, that happened to me with the luckfox pico PLUS and luckfox pico MAX
With my Raspberry Pi 5 this doesn't happen to me, the PS4 turns off normally but my Raspberry Pi never turns off after injecting the PPPwn, so I think that I should put in the question if I want my luckfox to turn off after injecting the PPPwn I should put "NO" and try to see what happens when I can I'll try it thanks

You DO NOT skip to step 4! DO all the steps. Install the firmware. I bought one, new and there was no firmware on it. I got errors on ssh forever. Then I made a research, and I learned that there was no firmware on the brand new board. After setting up the firmware, it worked.

Just did this to my 9.00 Belize2 A0 PS4, it's pretty unstable, first time I tried it it took about 4 tries, then the jailbreak worked, then I installed itemzflow and the PS4 crashed on a black screen when opening it, then I had to force reboot and I got a blue flashing LED after showing the PS logo. I tried everything including initialize the PS4, and still had the black screen after the PS logo I eventually had to reinstall the firmware for it to start, and I lost some of my data when I initialized the PS4, fortunately most of my games were on the extended HDD so I only lost a couple of games and all the saves of course. I then reinstalled itemzflow and this time it worked, I tried rebuilding the database of the extended HDD but that didn't work, eventually unplugging and plugging the HDD made the games show up again. Now what I noticed is after the PS4 is "Luckfoxed" sometimes it just switches off out of the blue. It happened while launching a game, and it happened while connecting a second controller. When turning it back on it runs the HDD checks like if there had been a power outage. So yeah, while the PPPwn method is more convienient as it's automatic it seems it renders the PS4 quite unstable. Also powering off the PS4 or reseting it also makes it crash sometimes or keeps the while LED flashing indefinately.

What could the reason be where "I can flash the Luckfox. See it was Ethernet 2 able to change IP. But cant connect to it at all. Always connect refused... Tried different usb cable, tried on PC, 2 laptops.. tried on Win 10&11. Turned off Defender. Ipconfig showed changed IP". Any help would be great.
Can your PS4 use network features (FTP, etc.) through the proxy of the device? or do i have to swap network settings and enable wifi towards my normal LAN?
I don't see any reason to update from version 9.0. There are backports for all the games. The ESP key is connected to the home local network. After successfully launching GoldHEN, internet access through Ethernet remains available. No need to change the settings. Updating to version 11 is pointless...
Hello I ran into some problems, maybe you can help. I have bought a data bank for ps4 and an 8tb 3.5" hdd. They worked fine on firmware 9.0, but after I upgraded to firmware 11.0 with the luckfox chip, the problems came. It works for a while. Ps4 crashes and then I get into safe mode and have to reinstall from scratch again. If I install a 4tb ssd there are no problems. I have tried 2 different machines, now mine and my friend's where we have bought the same setup. the error keeps coming back. Are you aware that it is possibly firmware 11.0 that is the problem? I do everything as in this video, after connecting luckfox pico to the console and connecting it with an internet cable and a USB cable to the console, of course I make the settings on PS4 as in the video and nothing happens, the PS4 does not know luckfox pico at all, even there is no internet connection, I downloaded all the files to luckfox pico just like in the video, I don't know what to do now
One problem what i had, was the luck didn’t connect with the pc. I used one normal usb cable. I changed it with a cable with both side usb-c. Maybe someone had the same problem. But now it worked successfully 😬

Hey, MW..... How do you go about loading the stage 2 bin file using an RPI4? The file is significantly smaller than the main GH bin file (3K vs 215K) so I can't imagine that you name it goldhen.bin on a USB and have it load to the internal drive.

Followed your other outdated tutorial and ran into issues. you took your time to make a new tutorial for this method. But i encountered that the jailbreak uses data corruption to get into the system, therefore swapping from hdd to ssd speed up the time it would activate. But sadly i also encountered a lot of times that the ps4 would boot into safe mode and wouldn't boot up normally, because i had to reinstall the current system os. Also encountered that my beep stopped working as well as the drive eject button AFTER i jailbroke the console. Before it would work just fine. So yeah, data corruption duento the jailbreak really happening, even tho installed fresh sss.
if someone using luckfox pico pro max, and the lan(ndis) is not showing in network connections eventhough u make reinsert your usb in computer and not showing, put the battery (the yellow thing inside the box of luckfox pico pro max) i dont know if its battery or what, but its circle yellow with red and black wire with very small male socket and you must insert in the luckfox pico pro max, ill just figurred it out earlier when im doing this.. i hope it helps
Hi. Any possible way to automate the default temperature value after each jailbreak. Im using Luckfox pico b method. Everytime I have to open and close the Lapy PS4 temperature app manually.
Mine is running fine now for a while but i had some trouble getting to work because i already had goldhen installed on the ps4 and when i used the nand files and usb file to update the goldhen on the ps4 is when i had trouble getting it jailbroken and when it did work then it wouldnt shutdown correctly. I fixed it by swapping out the stage 2 and usb file from the working latest beta release that worked fine with the ethernet method.
Other than not requiring a SD card, is there any other benefits to this method compared to the previous luckfox method? performance, stability, etc.? In other words I don't need the sd card that I dropped in there, should I bother going through these steps?

Hi. For some reason, my ps4 keeps saying that I need to connect a LAN cable and try again. I ran the exploit twice already. The problem started after I shut down my ps4 to verify that the luckfox chip installed the exploit again. It worked like I said, twice, but now it won't detect my LAN connection. I initialized my console twice now and plugged in a USB drive with goldhen in it since the ssd was wiped. Again I had no luck. I reflashed the luckfox twice to redo the installation as well and run the commands on the mobaxtrem. Yet no luck. I know the lan cable and port works. Pls help!

if you have 9.00 I don't think you should upgrade because this jail brake is not nearly stabile like 9.00 sometimes crashes, from just switching user so stay on what you have

Hey guys, I have a really strange problem with the payload. I did everything exactly as in the video. The problem is that the payload is not found during the jailbreak! The message that the network connection is not possible appears as usual, then Luckfoxed appears and then Payload not Found appears! Do you have any idea what the problem is? I did update the v2. With two buttons to newer firmware with these steps much faster

You can use one without the ethernet port and solder on your own. You just need to flash the pico plus firmware to it.

Just did this to my 9.00 Belize2 A0 PS4, it's pretty unstable, first time I tried it it took about 4 tries, then the jailbreak worked, then I installed itemzflow and the PS4 crashed on a black screen when opening it, then I had to force reboot and I got a blue flashing LED after showing the PS logo. I tried everything including initialize the PS4, and still had the black screen after the PS logo I eventually had to reinstall the firmware for it to start, and I lost some of my data when I initialized the PS4, fortunately most of my games were on the extended HDD so I only lost a couple of games and all the saves of course.
I then reinstalled itemzflow and this time it worked, I tried rebuilding the database of the extended HDD but that didn't work, eventually unplugging and plugging the HDD made the games show up again. Now what I noticed is after the PS4 is "Luckfoxed" sometimes it just switches off out of the blue. It happened while launching a game, and it happened while connecting a second controller. When turning it back on it runs the HDD checks like if there had been a power outage.
So yeah, while the PPPwn method is more convienient as it's automatic it seems it renders the PS4 quite unstable. Also powering off the PS4 or reseting it also makes it crash sometimes or keeps the while LED flashing indefinately.

What could the reason be where "I can flash the Luckfox. See it was Ethernet 2 able to change IP. But cant connect to it at all. Always connect refused... Tried different usb cable, tried on PC, 2 laptops.. tried on Win 10&11. Turned off Defender. Ipconfig showed changed IP". Any help would be great.

I don't see any reason to update from version 9.0. There are backports for all the games. The ESP key is connected to the home local network. After successfully launching GoldHEN, internet access through Ethernet remains available. No need to change the settings.
Updating to version 11 is pointless...
Where do you get the back ports then? Because the newer ps4 games like Elden Ring won't install on 9.00 without a firmware update.

I ran into some problems, maybe you can help.
I have bought a data bank for ps4 and an 8tb 3.5" hdd.
They worked fine on firmware 9.0, but after I upgraded to firmware 11.0 with the luckfox chip, the problems came.
It works for a while.
Ps4 crashes and then I get into safe mode and have to reinstall from scratch again.
If I install a 4tb ssd there are no problems.
I have tried 2 different machines, now mine and my friend's where we have bought the same setup.
the error keeps coming back. Are you aware that it is possibly firmware 11.0 that is the problem?

I do everything as in this video, after connecting luckfox pico to the console and connecting it with an internet cable and a USB cable to the console, of course I make the settings on PS4 as in the video and nothing happens, the PS4 does not know luckfox pico at all, even there is no internet connection, I downloaded all the files to luckfox pico just like in the video, I don't know what to do now

One problem what i had, was the luck didn’t connect with the pc. I used one normal usb cable. I changed it with a cable with both side usb-c. Maybe someone had the same problem.
But now it worked successfully 😬
wish I would've seen this earlier. would've saved me over an hour. following the tut and he said USB A to C. swapped cables. swapped ports. nothing worked till I did C to C per your suggestion.

Hey, MW..... How do you go about loading the stage 2 bin file using an RPI4? The file is significantly smaller than the main GH bin file (3K vs 215K) so I can't imagine that you name it goldhen.bin on a USB and have it load to the internal drive.

Followed your other outdated tutorial and ran into issues. you took your time to make a new tutorial for this method.
But i encountered that the jailbreak uses data corruption to get into the system, therefore swapping from hdd to ssd speed up the time it would activate.
But sadly i also encountered a lot of times that the ps4 would boot into safe mode and wouldn't boot up normally, because i had to reinstall the current system os.
Also encountered that my beep stopped working as well as the drive eject button AFTER i jailbroke the console. Before it would work just fine. So yeah, data corruption duento the jailbreak really happening, even tho installed fresh sss.
if someone using luckfox pico pro max, and the lan(ndis) is not showing in network connections eventhough u make reinsert your usb in computer and not showing, put the battery (the yellow thing inside the box of luckfox pico pro max) i dont know if its battery or what, but its circle yellow with red and black wire with very small male socket and you must insert in the luckfox pico pro max, ill just figurred it out earlier when im doing this.. i hope it helps

Hi. Any possible way to automate the default temperature value after each jailbreak. Im using Luckfox pico b method. Everytime I have to open and close the Lapy PS4 temperature app manually.
Can you use a USB cable connection from the PS4 to provide power to the LuckFox? I’m assuming it doesn’t need much
Mine is running fine now for a while but i had some trouble getting to work because i already had goldhen installed on the ps4 and when i used the nand files and usb file to update the goldhen on the ps4 is when i had trouble getting it jailbroken and when it did work then it wouldnt shutdown correctly. I fixed it by swapping out the stage 2 and usb file from the working latest beta release that worked fine with the ethernet method.
Other than not requiring a SD card, is there any other benefits to this method compared to the previous luckfox method? performance, stability, etc.?
In other words I don't need the sd card that I dropped in there, should I bother going through these steps?

Hi. For some reason, my ps4 keeps saying that I need to connect a LAN cable and try again. I ran the exploit twice already. The problem started after I shut down my ps4 to verify that the luckfox chip installed the exploit again. It worked like I said, twice, but now it won't detect my LAN connection. I initialized my console twice now and plugged in a USB drive with goldhen in it since the ssd was wiped. Again I had no luck. I reflashed the luckfox twice to redo the installation as well and run the commands on the mobaxtrem. Yet no luck. I know the lan cable and port works. Pls help!
