I go through the twitter chat of the issue and most of the times it’s just a dumb customer and he has like tweeted 10 times regarding the issue in last 1 day.
I just wanna put out there that this is very relatable, and to see a successful person speak about my exact experience, down to the mannerisms and amount of time it took to get fired, is relieving.
I had a girl who tried to leave work early during her probation period, because her boyfriend just broke up with her through text and she couldn’t concentrate. Managers first question was “why were you on your phone at work”. She didn’t last long after that
I just watched my vhs tapes of scooby doo or whatever I felt like while doing tech support for apple. Fucking mind numbingly painful and same with the break up so I gave up and didn’t give a shit anymore. And since we we’re 3rd party are time system for time off was different and found an exploit to get whatever day I wanted guaranteed off 90% of the time and used that when I didn’t want to work so i couldn’t get fired. I told no one about that exploit either.
He said that the reason he would show up late was because if he didn't then he would just end up doing the bad behavior. There were some days he just didn't work well, and there were other days where he just started late because he knew he wasn't fit to work.

I get the feeling but personally (idk if it was the way I was raised or what) when working a job you need to be the best at it as possible and set an internal high standard now bad days happen but you can’t let one small thing define your mood for bigger things like mourning etc you gotta grief and move on nothing you do will change the past so better to live with the present and look to the future
