What caused the negative response to COVID infection or vaccine administration? In this video, we discuss how toxins are often a silently contributing factor to chronic illness and may explain a plausible mechanism in the pathogenesis of PASC.

Do you ever use the IGL test for assessing toxin load?

Thank you. What are your thoughts on microclotting? Does this affect all or some of long Covid cases?

It seems it is the one thing that all long haulers seem to have.

Hi Frank! Yes I agree, this seems to be present in most - however, the question is is whether this is a main 'cause' for all the issues patients are experiencing, or whether this is simply another 'effect' of the underlying mechanisms.. Certainly we expect to see increased clotting and coagulation when there is alot of inflammation present - another major common factor in most long covid patients.. So addressing the clotting is important, but we should also identify what is also perpetuating the inflammation which is also contributing to that! With these types of complex illnesses, it is rarely one single factor causing all the problems, and each individual has different factors which contribute to their individual circumstance..

Is there a standard blood test to test for sub-clinical levels of toxins that I can ask my physician to order? What is an OAT test? You touched on this in the video a bit but it would be great to include it in notes or a pinned comment. the How do I get started to determine if this contributing to my long covid symptoms?

Organic acid test. It's a good test to understand underlying problems like neuro inflammation, mitochondrial product and all others.

Hi Brad! Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for your questions! Blood testing is often a poor test for looking at toxins unless you are looking for acute exposures (which is generally what your mainstream medical doctor will do if they expect that - this is more of an acute emergency scenario, and they do not generally recognise 'chronic body burden').. There are different ways of testing for different types of toxin - hair or urine testing are common types! As Shiba explained, the OAT is a good test to get an overview of multiple different systems in the body to pinpoint where to focus more.. Generally the best way to get started with this stuff is to work with someone to help you select what testing is most beneficial for you, and also most importantly, do a proper history with you beforehand before merely guessing what test you may need.. I like that you investigate things yourself and don't rely on "This hasn't been clinically proven". People forget; all scientific information began with theories and trials, there is no god sending down medical books for you to understand your symptoms.
