Inside of the wheels is no problem, et is small, so no rubbing on axle or suspension, outside my fenders are widen and i have negative camber, otherwise it would be a problem...
Kawazuki I have lowered my swift with 35mm but when going in corners the rubber hits the edge of the fenders. The rest is stock suspension. Biggest problem when lowering is a wrong roll center which is too much below the center of mass which causes the car to lean over a lot in corners

good looking wheels and tire size. 2kg heavier then the enkei's specially made for the gti but offcourse these are much wider and 1" bigger
