  • The original, chaotic Moonview Highway overlayed with the absolutely bombastic 8DX rendition of the music, which I think is much more suitable for the crowded and fast traffic, blaring sirens, and flashing lights of the original course than the the Wii music.

    Please excuse my utterly abysmal MKW gameplay, and also ignore the SA2 music at the end lmao

    I wish they had left the echoing police car siren in the main game...😢

      Fr fr. The sirens added a lot to the chaotic and garish atmosphere of the city.

    The best Moonview Highway. More difficult traffic and car horns and sirens with the 8 Deluxe music

    I wonder why did they removed the sirens in 8dx?

      I would imagine that it was yet another instance of the BCP developers excluding a minor course detail due to either time constraints or the lack of experience naturally exhibited by a team of interns.
      Or maybe everyone on the BCP team was only familiar with the Tour version of Moonview Highway - which also lacks the sirens - and simply didn't know that the course ever had sirens to begin with. Although I doubt that's the case considering how the BCP team sometimes reinstates features that were removed in a track's Tour remake (such as the jumbotron in DK Summit), which would suggest that they're aware of the original versions of the courses that they port over.

      I do think it's another team, perhaps a less-experienced one, that's doing these courses. A lot of changes that Tour made to a lot of Booster courses are left intact in their console counterparts in 8 Deluxe.
      Perhaps they just don't know how to reinstall certain details into some courses that were cut out in their Tour versions.

      @@goatprince1How did you alternate between the main music and the city in the files?

      @@chucke.cheese2212 As far as I'm aware, it's impossible to implement a dynamic music track that changes depending on your location, so I couldn't actually mod the music into the game. I had to fake it by replacing the Moonview music with silence and then merely placing the 8DX music over the footage.

    BRSTM'S download?

    • @goatprince1
      @goatprince1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is a "fake" video in that I actually just replaced the Moonview music with silence and synced the 8DX music with the footage in editing. As far as I'm concerned, there's no way to implement dynamic, location-dependent music into MKW, so there aren't any BRSTM files involved here except for the silent one that I actually used in the game.
