I never expected Moonview Highway to make its way to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC, but it's a very welcome surprise! Recording this footage makes me miss the MKWii days - the gameplay of Wii somehow still feels more chaotic to MK8's mechanics!
This is quite literally one of the craziest remixes I've ever produced 😆

Thank you!! The variety of instruments hit me randomly while I was browsing through presets, I couldn't pick what not to use so somehow I managed to implement everything 😆

Blue Yoshi!!! Wow the timing of some of the visuals with the stabs and sounds is incredible!!! The scene change with the transitions always get me this is such an amazing track and I love the synth work, love how you held out the synth for a bit at times and the simplicity that comes in with the drop this is incredible a serious house banger!!! Really lovely work here P2!!!

Haha I always drove on the side with the flow of traffic, back when I played Wii literally every day I memorized where the vehicles spawned...ahh, the good ol' days!
Glad you enjoyed the variety of craziness; this track is basically me finding a _bunch_ of synth patches that I couldn't resist so I found a way to implement everything without sacrificing complexity!

this is REAL nice. always felt like there could be more done to the original. the song always felt sorta weak when listening it alone without playing the game to me, and no other remix has captured what i thought could be done with it. gj mate

I always wondered how is was like to live on one of the tracks in Mario Kart, they always seem so vibrant and lively, and the music is definitely helping.
I’d imagine it’s similar to a NY Times Square vibe, just constant traffic & noise throughout the night haha 😆

Haha yeah I spent wayyy too much time on the mixing for this remix, though it definitely needed it for the huge variety in instruments! I _do_ love when the in-game music changes based on which section you’re currently driving, just another reason why Mario Kart music is the best! 🙌
Man, this is wild! I was afraid it didn't gave me the same strong feelings as the original one in the section from 0:32 to 0:39, as it is my favourite part with the "dun-dun-dun-dun" in the background, but damn you completely nailed it! Congrats, dude ✌🏻✌🏻

I Love Every Mario Kart Wii Track Music, It definitely has some of the best music in the whole series
For me, Wii comes in second; Mario Kart DS in my mind has the absolute best OST of any Mario Kart; but nonetheless, all Mario Kart music is my favorite!! 🏎️🏁

While Moonview Highway in 8DX is a massive downgrade in gameplay compared to Wii, holy hell the music and visuals are amazing, and this remix tops it so much it's amazing.
I gotta agree, the gameplay for MK8D just doesn't match the chaotic feel of Wii!! But the updated graphics are a nice touch, haha. Glad you enjoyed this remix!! 🙌

My friends say this track sucks, but I disagree, this track is awesome! IDK, maybe I’m just nostalgic because I grew up with MKWii
This track is definitely awesome, one of my favorites in MKWii for sure; I'll say the MK8D one doesn't do it _as_ much justice since the car mechanics just aren't the same, but overall it's still a great course!

I always thought Toad's Turnpike was too boring for my taste; I do enjoy highway-themed courses, but I gotta agree this one & Shroom Ridge are fantastic. I wish Mushroom Bridge would have made an appearance in the BCP!
