Best and most thorough review on the f5.5. On a side note my elmax one had a Rockwell 61.
Sweet! I got the micarta and the titanium versions. Love it.
I tried for the Micarta multiple times.
Great review Wes! I love my F5.5 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks Jake! Great knife, it’s a keeper.
I would love one but it’s be nice if they had a filler tab option for left side carry as well as countersunk screws. I can get over the right handed liner lock. Overall good looking, clean knife.
Excellent video
The drop dwn lever too thin small and flush with the frame. I have trouble being fluent at shutting the knife at times. Other than that. Its a solid blade!
that’s a good looking knife. tho i’m leaning now towards thinner handle profile maybe like a spyderco smock or maybe the newer crkt CEO .. thanks . nice review.
Really love the f5.5. I have the elmax/cf variant. But I do wish for a much better pocket clip. I tried taking it off and flattening the ramp of the clip. It did help to eliminate the hot spot a fair amount. But I would still prefer a more sturdy clip with a softer edge. Like something from MXGgear. I did find out that the clip screw spacing on the f5.5 matches that of the typical Kershaw/zt two hole pocket clip patterns. But unfortunately the ti screws on the f5.5 are to still wide to fit through the k/zt pocket clip screw holes. So that’s a bummer.
So thorough! 👍🏽
Thanks!
M390 is a great steel but 59 rockwell means maybe the heat treatment was not optimum.
PM3?!?! I’m telling Tom and Jason. The Millie Club isn’t going to be happy! 😂😂😂 Great review. 👍🏻
I’ll prepare for my lashing...😳

Wish we could get a distributor for this downunder in Australia 😒
hey guys, does anyone know what the sharpening angle is for these per side ? many thanks.
I just got the carbon fiber version!
Enjoy it! Great knife!
Great review. I love this knife. Is it only available at Urban Edc? Great looking knife.
Yes, it's a collaboration with Urban EDC and Vox.
I’ve got one coming, I love the design. I’m a ferrum forge fan! The we produced fortis and archbishop2.0 and falcon are my favs BY FAR! This looks like it will fit right in with my small collection! Do you know who actually manufactured it?

i just subb to your channel. what kind of rc tester is that looking forward to more content.
It’s an Ames Model 1.
...even F3.5 has counter-sunk screws on the pocket-clip!?
61 HRC is good for this steel, and 59 is not.
