This is the video with the most amount of views you got, I think you should focus more on modifying this toy car because there are many people who like these cheap little cars and want to upgrade them

Did almost same thing...only I use a micro servo for steering. For the motor I use a 30000RPM at 3volt motor (yes a 3 with 5 zero's). Electronics, the same as you use. An esp32 c3 and a l298n for motor driver...big fun with these cheap cars.. Remote also an esp32 c3 mounted in an old 27Mhz rc transmitter. connection via p2p wifi (read somwhere you use BT)

Can you do more modifications in this car? like proportional throttle and steering? What is I rewind the wire in the motor with a thicker wire?

I’ve noticed that the steering motors in these cheaper RC cars, works by a pulse. On more expensive RC cars, the front wheels turn gradually to the left or right, along with the noise of the steering motor. I just found out about this on eBay, very early this morning. A Mockingbird slot car drag racing motor, which turns out 65000 RPM. This motor probably would get your cheap RC car going at least 70 MPH. I’d put 2️⃣-9-volt batteries in series, as an upgrade. You’d have to reconstruct the battery compartment of the car, as well as the motor. I think 🤔 that the steering motor would be okay 👍. Circuit boards in the car would be your next upgrade, because I think 🤔 the 18 volts, provided by the 2️⃣-9-volt batteries, would probably burn your circuit board 🆙. It would also shorten the life of the car’s original drive motor, and may possibly start your RC car on fire. Just subbed!! Your friend, Jeff.

May I know the purchase link for the receiver and motor driver? Do you use the original remote or replace it?
Do you know Arduino? I code and use Arduino program. CPU is ESP32c3. It receives data through Bluetooth and runs motor driver. Communication data is "RC,steer,throttle". Steer and throttle are from -255 to 255. Example) RC,0,255 This is neutral steering and maximum throttle.
I also make and use the controller with ESP32. It sometimes appears in other videos of me.
The parts were purchased from AliExpress.

I only change center drive shaft rear gear (it crack) just 1 tooth less than front, enough for counter steer.
use original gear. same tooth

The steering motor used the body and magnets of the 3v motor, and the rotor used the rotor and carbon brush of the electromagnetic interference prevention motor.
The receiver is ESP32's Bluetooth method.

There are many ways to create a receiver.
Arduino, Arduino Nano, Arduino Pro Micro, ESP32,
There are ESP32C3 and so on. There are many types of motor drivers available.
The receiver of the video was made using ESP32C3 and TA6586 chips.
