The weather... I'm jealous! It's been cold, cloudy, rainy and/or snowy for like 3 weeks now in Missouri. Our first day of abundant sunshine it was 3 degrees outside... Cool vid, I'm digging these tires!

Its cold and snowy in Nebraska. We did get up to 50 over the weekend though...so im not complaining too much.

Hi, Great Video I kinda have a separate question & you seem to be the exact guy with the knowledge. whats your opinion on the TRX-4 vs the New Gen8 Axe or for that matter any other RC that you think is #1? Im having a tough time deciding between the Axe 8 or Trx4. I much prefer the electronics the radio etc of the Axe but its strange how nobody other than you & couple others on TH-cam ever give Redcat any love. I understand the bodys a bit large /heavy but so is the Trx4 & bodys can always be swapped out. is there anything Im missing or what would you buy if you can only have 1? Thanks so much
I have both and they both have there pros and cons. For my money and location I would go TRX4 again. No one stocks parts for the redcat so it’s pretty much online for any replacement parts. Either way though you can’t go wrong.
I wish id have seen these before I got the landmines! The landmine green compound tires are awesome, but these look a tad more scale imo.
yeah a bit more scale for sure but these need a dry clean surface to really hook up. links in description for them if you want
Hello exo... could.you tell.me your thoughts on the landmines..as far as better than hyrex or any other tire..I ask cause I think with all the china things going on their will be no new tires available any time soon..also did you test landmines being dirty.....and what your thoughts on crawler course having a area of light mud...I notice on my course truck performs great with hyrex ,but as soon as I drive threw the dirty part of course which is like 5 foot of dirt an wett dirt ..it goes south. Lol...
@jaj252 I ran the Hyrax once, not impressed when the conditions were dusty rock or loose dirt on the ascent. Gave them to one of the other guys and he pretty much has had the same performance. Really for me, the BFG Krawlers have had the most multi terrain performance. Just tried the JConcepts Landmines this last weekend with a new rig, not sure if it was the rig, the tires, the driver or what but the outcome was the best run yet.
I've got the Landmines on Optimus 3 but havent driven it yet. I saw a guy comp with them this past sunday and they seemed to run well. Initial thoughts are they are a bit narrower then the KLR's I also like and seem like they will do good everywhere except for the most sticky stuff. Again I haven't had a chance to test them yet so for me its just speculation at this point.
@Dallas Texas rc crawlers love to try them. Just cant find for like 4 months now

Oooohhhh!!! I like, might have to order a set. You sound like me I have more sets of wheels and tires then I have rigs!!! What mods did you have to do to the chassis or body to get to fit? My nephew has the Bronco and wants to change the body to the sport.
Body mounts and some gratuitous inner fender well trimming and it goes right on

JD'S RC'S I'm sure you know but just in case traxxas sells the sport inner fender wells which are narrower then standard TRX4.... if u don't wanna cut urs

Robert H there is a sport inner fender well? I haven’t seen that and my Sport didn’t come with any at all.
