How about security for vulnerable people in a space like such? Like you have to buzz in to enter the building...he wouldn't have been let in. You wouldn't leave your house unlocked so places like this shouldn't either.

The work-from-home aspect seems more aligned with middle management who have become somewhat redundant as most employees are capable of managing their own tasks without constant supervision. Personally, I am far more productive at home due to the absence of distractions and office politics. Additionally, my well-being and rest have significantly improved which has in turn enhanced my overall output.
Be careful what you wish for, because the work-from-home brigade is likely to be the first replaced by AI. Manual labor is the only way to truly secure your job.
