The older BMW'S Duc bills we call the Forest Whitaker look. Far as track days all you need is suspension dialed in and good tires, the rest is on the rider.(I feel) They make an awesome bike. Jury is still out for me. HP4 barely any issues, 2020 problem child. I hope they work the kinks out. Good video, awesome bikes 👍👍👍

It’s fun to see you having so much fun man. I am finding I am starting to enjoy videos of people having that one bike they really wanted and love and enjoying it more than videos of people always testing a new bike or swapping amongst a fleet of bikes. Screens same size and the redline is indeed higher on the Ms. The titanium rods let it rev faster and higher. That's the biggest M motor difference. Swing arms are both aluminum but the M is supposedly a little longer and the front fork has a different rake form the S1000s(but they may have given the same rake to the 23 S1000s, previous to 23 is definitely different.
I'm getting used to the megamind franken forehead on the 23 but the wings are just hideous and they dont seem to be paying off that much in WSBK or MotoAmerica...V4R has better designed wings and the damn R1M doesnt even have any and is still at the front, so there's that.

If you want thet exhaust, just get a decal to cover the green on the can and then have a paint shop put a clear out on it. Now it's gloss carbon and the right colors.

I know how you are and what you like, but unless you plan to ride it with ear plugs in constantly I wouldn't recommend the SC slip on with decatted headers.
Your ears will ring, your hearing will decline, and you'll be annoyed over time. When I went to a bigger bike meet there was someone with the Austin racing exhaust and he recommended something quieter and I'm thankful he did. I went with the Arrow long can and I'm very happy I did.
Oh and when you Brentune flash it the throttle response will improve a lot.
Look into Austin Racing exhaust if you like the look of the SC but want more options as far as colors on the slip on.

Ik a super big BMW fan. My ‘23 is my third S1K. I fully agree. I decided to get the S1K over the M1K because of the new slide control and the electronic suspension. My bike is primarily ridden on the street so it made more sense. Oh and a couple things bro. The screens are the same size, the M1K actually does rev higher than the S1K due to the internals. Oh and go with the Austin Racing exhaust. I have one on mine and it sounds better than that SC setup. Ride safe!

The 2024 S1000RR comes with an optional carbon fiber wheels. ( which I have in mine) also the M1000rr redlines at 15,250 rpm and the S1000RR at 14,500 RPM. If you want to put all the carbon fiber stuff it will put you up another $10k anyways.

Check out Chris Moore of More Mafia about getting ECM tuned. You will see a major performance jump if he is able to unlock the ECM and do it. Factory ECM are ALWAYS set LOW.

Yah there must be a removable dB killer. I also know they make 2 Akras per bike model, one that gives you better performance & another one with the best sound. My bike has Akra but I fell in love with SC from my friend's bike. It seems SC makes way cooler sounds

6:00 don't feel bad lol I've had my (brand new) 2021 CBR1000RR and I'm still getting used to the shifting ( I don't have a quickshifter)...
Bike looks much better with the factory mirrors than without - but it's your $40g's, brother. These homologated bikes are ALWAYS worth the extra $$ - and that's based strictly on the resale value. The performance question is another subject and it's debatable. But if these limited-production are well-maintained with low-mileage, they rarely go down in value.
I like to be able to see behind me. I know it looks better with the delete but I would at least put some wing mirrors or something to know if I’m gonna get rear ended especially as much as y’all roll race
I been doing mirror delete for a long time. I ended up putting a Bug mirror on chin area of my helmet. Haven't went back, but I'm a little different
Yeah man, it's what I always used to say. I had the wing style mirrors on my 954rr. For my R1, after flirting with the idea of deleting the mirrors and installing block off plates, I got a pair of the CRG lane splitter (3" version) mirrors... and the quality is SO much higher compared to the cheapo amazon/ebay knockoffs. Worth it. But the both of them looked goofy. I tried using just one and I realized it's all I need. So I just have one on the left, cus the time I feel I really always need one is the on ramp to the highway. Also, left side is easily foldable while moving. So now I just have 1 left CRG mirror on both my R1 and my 954rr. When it folds in I am just as small as having no mirrors for lane splitting. A+ Perfect, for me.

What about the Austin racing exhaust system
the head is different(i have 23 s1k), wings are different, titanium exhaust even thou is stock but it is titanium, rev goes up to 16k instead of 14k, the block is different two, all the carbon fiber makes the bike a lot lighter, its wider too, the way the TFT starts up is different, M is taller due to the seat height, suspension is different front and back. same horse power.

Base model s1000rr in the US is 20k plus taxes n fees, I was 22.3 out the door. Best s1000rr is 16-18 model!!
Bro if you want a nice exhaust and the feds dont care about DB i would get austin racing. It is by far the best quality exhaust you can get. 10/10

If you ride the streets more than the track the s1000rr is a better choice. Imo the M1000rr is way over priced for what you get. You can buy a base model s1000rr for under $19,000, get the carbon fiber M1000rr fairings, ohlins suspension, brembo brakes, full exhuast, tuning and more for the price of a stock M1000rr and youd have a far better bike.
