Hi Maangchi, I love the shishito peppers. Just a warning! It is true that they are mild for the most part, but I have found some spicy ones sneak in there from time to time. I’m okay with that because I love spicy foods, but others may get the surprise of their lives because of their extreme sensitivity to spicy!

Love shishito pepeppers (usually broil them). Found a big bag of them at local Chinese grocery. Want to try making this Kkwari-gochujjim but can't find dried anchovies at the moment. What about substituting anchovy paste?
