ehh, I feel like the emp would've been wasted. What would've happen is that she either never uses it or use it when the entire team is dead. Or they emp and get the entire team, but the dps/tanks don't push in, and it is wasted.
I'm in the n00b phase where you still have potato aim and when I practise McCree against AI, I'm really depressed by how rarely I can pull the old flash&fan off and kill someone with it - definitely gained a new level of respect for that combo xD

That teamfight at 5:30 had to be one of the strangest and slowest teamfights i've ever seen. Literally looked like the two teams were kinda just hanging out.
12:44 yeah this stuff might seem harsh or discouraging, but there is a minimum skill benchmark you have to hit before you're ready to play certain heros. Can't play basketball before learning to dribble and pass - can't play overwatch if you're not interacting with the other team at all outside of being an ult battery. Hit that practice range Tallman or pick someone else, you'll have a lot more fun

Looks like he misses fan cause he aims upwards. In my experience, the best are to right click is center mass cause fan takes your aim higher then brings it back down.

I’m in bronze I was healing my mcree and he flashed a hog, missed every single fan the hammer shot POINT BLANK and rolled backwards off the map leaving me, a mercy alone with the enemy hog. It was not a good game for me

@flats, one of the reasons for the cree missing flash and fan is that many players are scared to stay at the same spot even for a short amount of time(even for a second) in between the fight. I have been like that mcree sometime back and I was under the impression I had to move all the time to stay alive. It took some time and experience to realise that not moving for a second or so helps our aim a lot and confirm kill.

I just started playing mccree (not in comp) and i honestly fail every "fan the hammer" too. My shots look a bit like his. But thanks to the comments here I will try to hold the hammer at height of the "center mass"! As a bronze/silver player myself, I really enjoy these vids and learn a lot :D
His aim wasn’t that bad with Cree, but his flash + fans were atrocious. I noticed he doesn’t deal with pressure well, so his aim starts getting worse the closer the enemy gets oddly enough. I think he just needs more time in game to learn to utilize the abilities, get used to pressure & positioning. I think you were spot on with the “the light is flickering”. I can see this person maxing around platinum, but struggling to get there

I actually played with the WhiteCoco guy from Team 1 right before this video was uploaded. He was Zenyatta and I told him to let me know when he was going to use his ultimate so I can use mine. Without warning he charged into the enemy team with his ultimate without a plan and died. We lost that game, he proceeded to blame our Sombra. Zenyatta was not made to play as a tank.
Just saying here, I can count like 2 or 3 hammer fans that the game wasn’t registering like the genji when he lutes in the air on last point and he fanned with like 3 shots and all went right through him. Not his fault but the games there just wanna point that out
So the thing is that it is really hard to aim on McCree on console, so I just focus on consistent body shots, so I don't blame him for missing so much, however, everything else like his gamesense was not good. Just room for improvement.
As a high silver Winston... I can tell you it's mainly a who feeds less matchup... they jump in and die and scatter their team... then get steamrolled.
Ngl, I play frontline sombra on purpose alot. I frontline/splitangle to disrupt tanks for my tanks, and farm them for EMP, when I have EMP, I'll try to assassinate early fight in the hopes of avoiding the need for an EMP, and then I'll switch back to pressuring front. I don't like her lack of burst damage, so I'd rather be dumping a guaranteed 480 damage into tanks or shields rather than looking for assassinations on harder to hit squishies that either have burst damage or healing to survive my attempt. It's kinda surprising how many teams fold over themselves if a Sombra is just constantly threatening to shut down their main tanks abilities, and when that threat isn't there, they push in more aggressively and either lose a support or lose all their cooldowns. I'd infinitely prefer genji or hanzo if I'm going for picks on a flank, to sombra. But I like playing sombra, so I just bully tanks lmao
A friend of mine helped me get out of Bronze awhile ago and all we did was TP D.va bombs and it was funny AF as all I got was hate from my team but me and my friend found it funny

Fan the hammer actually shoots slightly above the cross hair due to the recoil. You can't headshot with FTH so best to go for legs/centermass
