      I am thinking of buying the Axel 2000 or 3000 for the foaming part. I would like to use it to foam my car when getting to wash it. I own a Tesla model Y
      Would the axel 2000 be sufficient for one wash or do I need to buy the 3000? The price difference in The Netherlands (where I live) is not much, but I also want to save space. Hence, I would like to know if 2 litres of solution is sufficient to foam a Model Y or do I need to go for the 3-litre option.

    Hi Pan, I bought the foamer and a sprayer a while ago, and totally agree on the build quality - bullet proof. I can citrus spray my SUV with one pump session. How did you get Brakebuster to foam so thickly at 10:1? Most reviews quote 4:1. Did you use distilled water? Did you use the light blue insert? Thanks

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I have DI water in my garage. Nothing but the best. ;)
      In my other foamers, yes I diluted Brake Buster 4:1.
      But in the Marolex Axel, 10:1 works so well, as recommended by Luxury Microfiber who uses Brake Buster in his Axel foamer all the time.

    Marolex sprayers are freaking amazing Pan, thanks for highlighting these tools in your video. I made the switch several months ago because I realized I never had enough ONR for a presoak on the car with my Multi Pro 2 so I upgraded to the Industry Ergo 3000 and absolutely love the spray pattern much much more and the nozzle lock is quite helpful for hand fatigue. For foaming Brake Buster, I am still using a Foam Pro 2 that is still performing well and I'd say it is the better of the two sprayers in their lineup.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hard to say, as I don't know what sprayer you got (only the Axel series is meant for foaming, the one with the blue top) and don't know what dilution you used. You have to play with dilutions until you get something decent, and also hopefully you don't have hard water issues where you live as that greatly impacts the quantity and richness of foam you get.
      Did you try reaching out to Marolex or the company where you bought the sprayer from?

      A lifehack to get 2 in 1 system. Buy Foamer to use foam. If you need sprayer you need to take off cap and see the long tube inside. If you look close the long tube consists from 2 parts, long tube and small tube with plastic connection and hole in it. Take out whole tube and separate short tube with plastic connection from long tube then put back only long one and now you have sprayer! Also you can take out a foam tip. But this is not the end. Also you can buy a spray nozzle from sprayer version that perfectly fit with foamer! 😉

    Hello Pan, very good video review, how do you compare this brand against iK Foam pro 2?
    Honestly, I'm very disappointed with iK brand foamers, pressure is poor and does not last enough, you waste a lot of time pumping and maybe it will last for a door or a wheel at most. Also foam quality is very poor........

      The IK are very good, don't get me wrong, but Marolex is on another level. With the Marolex you don't have to pump them as often as the IK and also the Marolex generates more pressure out of the tip. Great stuff!
      For foam quality though, it's not only the foamer, but also the quality of the water you use (I use deionized or demineralized water, which is always better than tap water) and also what product you are using. Not all products foam the same. And also adjust the dilutions to get it right according to your setup.

    Hey Pan, can you please explain why the Marolex are superior to the IK pump sprayers? Thanks

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I pretty much explained all the reasons why in the video. Did you watch my video? I gave all the technical specs.
      But in short, for sure, the Marolex are the best pump sprayers I have tested to this day. I have pretty much the entire range of IK sprayers (from the original Foam, Multi 1.5, to the new Foam Pro 2, Multi Pro 2, and Foam Pro 12), and these Marolex allow me to spray for longer without pumping as much, and have a higher output pressure, among other qualities.
      So nothing wrong with IK. They are top tier. But Marolex is superior in my opinion. Check out other videos on the topic on TH-cam, you'll see the same conclusion. Including this one from my friend Matt Moreman: th-cam.com/video/MBQahCBZN-o/w-d-xo.html

      The IK are still a very good choice. I have owned them for years and they are high quality. But when I tried the Marolex, it was a completely different level. The Marolex spray for much longer without needing to be pumped and the spray is higher pressure. Among other things.

    Hey Pan, I am currently in the market for a good pump sprayer and these all seem to fit the bill. I would really like something that foams so I can efficiently use it for something such as Brakebuster, however I would also like it to not foam things up such as APCs or Rinseless wash solutions such as ONR or McKee's N-914. After watching your video the axel series seems very appealing, but my question for you is if you were to put something in your axel foam pump sprayer that does not have any foaming properties such as an APC or a Rinseless wash, how would those chemicals react, would they foam up as well or would it just act as a normal pump sprayer in this scenario? I would really like to only have to buy one pump sprayer at this point so if the axel series could do both, that would be perfect! If not, can you only recommend that I purchase two separate pump sprayers for the two separate types of chemicals? Thank You!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Axel is only for foaming products. Not for liquids that won’t foam. So you’d need an Axel for foaming and another of their sprayers for rinseless washes or products you don’t want to foam. There’s no way around that unfortunately.
      And same applies to all sprayer brands. An IK Foam Pro 2 is made for foaming while the IK Multi Pro 2 is for non-foaming products.

    Hi Pan, upon your review, I have bought the Marolex Foam 3000, however when I filled it to 4.5oz dilution (as I do not need much solution for just 1 car), the foam that came out were not as shown by your demonstration. Its 1) Not fan-wide that covers much area 2) Its pretty much dotted with plenty of spaces in between each 'dot' of foam 3) The Pressure doesn't last as long (only about 2 doors) which seems weird for a 3000 capacity. Could you please advice. Thank you!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not all products are made to foam, and you have to get the dilution right. So I have no clue what you were using in it, you didn't mention, also what dilution ratio, what water you have? Don't forget, I used deionized high quality water, so everything foams better with that.
      Did you try reaching out to Luxury Microfiber to troubleshoot? Or from the place where you purchased it. They are better suited to help people with these questions. You need to consider many variables here.
      The pump sprayer works great.

      @@PanTheOrganizer Hi Pan, thanks for your quick revert. I was using that pump sprayer with CarPro Descale with 1:10 dilution ratio. I use with regular garden hose water (not deionized). However, let alone not foaming well, the spray pump doesn't seem to spray with regular patterns. It sprays out tiny foam splatters as if something was stuck in the nozzles (but it is not, I've checked everything) and the pressure doesn't last long (about 2 doors on regular sized sedan).

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Perhaps try another product that foams to see if it does the same. Descale is acidic and the Axel foamer is mainly used for higher pH products (alkaline) as people usually use foamers for APCs or snow foams or alkaline wheel cleaners.
      I used Descalenin my foam cannon with my pressure washer and even there it doesn’t foam like crazy.
      If you try another product and the foamer still does the same, perhaps you just have a defective unit.

    I can't really find anyone doing a decent comparison between Marolex and the closest competition. Maybe it just isn't worth it, but it would be nice to see how the competition stacks up. Yea, Marolex is great, but how far does it really stand out from the competition? I.E. maybe some of the lower pressure alternatives have more concentrated spray patterns so the force at which the solution hits the car/w.e. surface is similar? Or maybe, the pump isn't going to get used nearly as often as average/expected, so one could go with a less durable option with similar pressure.
    Maybe I'm in the wrong place and this is a Project Farm request (since he specializes in those detailed comparison tests)?

When you spin the cap on the flexible pickup tube wraps around it and never seems to find the low spot. I pick up air when it's at or below 500 mL and have to shake it around to unwrap the pickup tube. I'd rather just have a pickup tube that stays at the front bottom corner of the bottle, since I almost never point it upwards when spraying.

    How does this compare to the IK sprayers. I know you have a ton of those. Are the Marolex really worth the 50% price premium. You can get a good IK for $40 out the door... the Marolex is $60with shipping and tax...

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the Marolex are superior in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I like the IK's too, they are high quality pieces, but now that I have the Marolex, I pretty much only use the Marolex as you pump them a lot less, and they spray for longer. Also, the max pressure of the Marolex is a lot bigger compared to the IK.
      For the price, that's up to you to decide though. Money is never an object for me when buying things, but for many it can be a deal breaker and I fully understand that.

      Thanks pan! Follow up question. Do you preffer sponge or wash mitt or microfiber towels for rinselss washes? I'm washing my car once per week these days and it's usually pretty clean just tree dust and light sap and salt from the beach.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer the sponges made for that, like The Rag Company Ultra Black Sponge or the Big Red Sponge from Optimum. But I have used a microfiber wash mitt for that and that woks well too.
      But it's really a question of personal preference. Some swear by multiple microfiber towels, others with the sponges, etc.

      Thank you so much! The black sponge has been sold out for months. BRS is a little pricey have you ever used the SudzBudz spoges they are 2 for $17 on Amazon and have those cuts in them. Just not sure how soft or durable they are. What's your opinion?

    I’ve been wanting to add a foam pump sprayer to my stable and your video was the clearest one to help me make a choice. My question is, for the axel model, can any car wash product be used in it to create a foam?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but you need to find which shampoos would foam well in a pump sprayer, and which dilution ratio to use. So you need to play around and have fun seeing what works.

    • @billtaglia2865

      Thanks for that input. I do have some different shampoos and just might pull the trigger on the Axel model. With nearly 3/4 million subscribers, it’s amazing that you take/have the time to respond.

      Pan, I just took delivery of the Axel 2000 foamer. Is it me or is it as difficult as the instruction manual makes it sound to do maintenance on it? It’s like the whole thing needs to come apart to lubricate all the elements with silicone grease.

    Great review Pan as always, which one would you recommend me if I can only buy one right now that can do pretty much both thank you

      One type sprays normal liquid, while the Axel is for foaming type products. Two different uses. So I can’t just recommend one.

    Oops, I think the 2000 is the smallest size for the foam sprayer. Same question. Is it large enough to foam a medium sized SUV?

    Chemical guys sprayer SUCKS... I like the auto-lowering pump handle but the overall quality just sucks.

    I counted 40 pumps for 38 seconds of spray. but looks like there's a little more pressure left in the tank so i'd call it 45 seconds worth

    💯 th like for u. Pan can I use iron fallout instead of claying a car

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They do two different things. Iron removers remove embedded iron particles (brake dust, rail dust, industrial fallout, etc). Clay bar takes care of all the other embedded contamination, paint overspray, tree sap, etc. Hence why both steps are usually done.

    A little late to the party but I really enjoyed this video Pan! Thank you, I've been looking for something like this more working time, a sturdy construction and the handle for bigger hands. You said it perfectly they thought of everything, and they take great pride in that. I will be purchasing these.
    Thank you for an amazing video and God bless

    I'm going to be using the marolex 1000 jet spray for bird poo on car, it will come very handy since it has 58psi max
