Quickly realizing that my locals are way too forgiving with mana rocks and I get away with Tivit way too easily.

Dylan could have activated forbidden orchard to give cam an extra spirit to kill kinnan
I don’t know the contents of Dylan’s hand but it’s an interesting line

Some of my favourite decks. Never liked the jam of Kess, but I have been playing Armix/Kraum for a long time and recently, I've been dabbling with Tivit. I've been playing grixis almost exlusively for 10+ years now.

Love the misstep on the sol ring, ive done that sooooooo much, and almost unanimously ive had at least one person mention how that isn't optimal, BUUUTTTT denying 2 mana in perpetuity? They're wrong, well played sirs
Anyone saying it isn't optimal is dumb. Stopping your opponent from getting an extra two colourless mana turn 1 is really strong.
It depends on the other players and what deck they are playing, if you are against 2 turbo Naus decks misstep on a none turbo sol ring is probably wrong

the thing with Tivit is that it's a Timmi commander in disguise because it's a big mana creature that is very splashy, but it does things that can end the game very quickly
Not watched yet but glad to see another kess game on the channel, thinking of taking kess to an event in october as it'll be a bit less threatening than t&k
Edit: i don't play jeweled lotus in kess, is it worth it? I've got one but never felt it was good enough in kess

The Bonfire store says it's there for 12 more days, was the "through the end of June" in the video wrong?
That campaign is there for 12 days and then that batch will ship. After that a new campaign will start and ship roughly 2 weeks after that. That will continue until the end of June

I’m not reading all the comments but there’s a misplay on the wishclaw activation at instant speed. It’s only allowed to be activated at sorcery speed. I can’t be the only one who caught that. Love the videos though fellas!
That is incorrect, the only restriction is that you can only activate it on your turn, but you can do so at instant speed
Wow reading the card explains the card. I really thought it had the parentheses that said activate only as a sorcery. Thanks for that!
Say what you want about Tivit, he still needs to have the mana to resolve onto the battlefield, and then gets the ETB trigger, but then has to deal combat damage. So as long as he can't hit face he doesn't work. Kinnon meanwhile it's good that when Seedborne Muse resolved SOMEONE did something (gilded drake though?) and literally can go infinite in multiple ways real easy. And at two mana with access to green kinnon is difficult to keep off the field. Tivit needs a bunch of things to go right.

When sevienes reckamation is flashbacked there goes a copy on the stack so you need to counter both spells
I used to think the same thing, but I was corrected recently on this! If you cast it using flashback, it goes onto the stack, but the copy effect is a part of the RESOLUTION of the card. So, if the original copy is countered, the spell doesn’t resolve and the copy effect doesn’t occur.
Google “Sevinne's Reclamation ask a judge” for a more specific breakdown that explains it much better than I probably did.

Seemed like a lot of triggers were missed, but since it's a may i assumed that once the cmc was known he skipped the triggers to save time? I could be wrong though i stopped paying attn after that assumption

Sorry I might be dumb but when you flashback sevinne's rec ( 4:52) you also make a copy of the spell (its a may ability but thats the second time I see it being forgotten on this channel) , so you have to choose two targets, and then you can pass priority, so the spellpiece should have countered one of the rec right ?
you only make a copy if the spell resolves

@@gabettimothee I think the thing that is confusing you is that it's copying a spell so it seems very similar to something like Storm, which reads "When you cast". Imagine Sevinne's Reclamation read "Return target permanent card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. If your opponent controls a creature, you may draw a card". If your opponent controls a creature and counters the spell, you wouldn't expect to draw a card, but this hypothetical card is structured exactly the same as the real Sevinne's Reclamation. The main difference is that Sevinne's Reclamation is looking at a past event instead of a current event, but this isn't relevant, it's the structure that is relevant.
For it to work the way you expect, it would need to be worded like this (or something similar, there are a few ways but they all start with "When you cast", I just chose the wording that matches the original text as close as possible):
When you cast this spell, if it was cast from your graveyard, you may copy it and may choose new targets for the copy.
Return target permanent card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.

Here's my honorable mention that Wishclaw Talisman can only be activated as a sorcery, so Dylan could not have tutored for that fierce guardianship (12:20)

4:56 everyone kind of fucks up. Ian flashbacks Sevinne. When he does so Devine's copies itself. So there should be two Sevinnes on the stack. Then Dylan Spell Pierces said Sevinnes, when there should also be another copy. Semantics, but it matters in breach deck when you Double target UBreach with Sevinnes Flashback

Most of the decks in the game are midrange decks so it makes sense that not much action was there for the first 4 turns. But interaction wise, this was a cEDH game.
Just because nothing happens in the first 4 turns doesn’t mean it’s not cEDH.
