Although l haven’t got a lot of love for the e27s Steve mainly because l spent a lot of time on my dads, had no electric start or lights etc, just hydraulics, so they weren’t my favourite until my dad got the Fordson diesel major, one other thing, it didn’t matter so much that they were slow on the road, most farmers back in the day didn’t have bloody land miles away from the farm unlike today!

Another great video 👍 enjoy the sheet metal work and explanation of the rivetting they certainly built things to last back then💪 Drove a P6 E27N many many years ago collecting peas from the fields using a green crop loader, was never given any instruction on how to drive the beast so started off in 1st gear, very slow, 2nd gear still slow , into 3rd and it was off like s rocket 🚀😳 many years later discovered that it was a red spot gearbox 👍 if memory serves me correctly i seem to recall the steering box seemed very high ratio as well as it seemed to turn lock to lock on little more than one turn of the steering wheel 🤔 great to see the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 tractor i do love them in their original clothes 👌

The fordson is going to be very smart when finished not bad for a tractor over 70 years old good work done by you ! Have you finished spraying yet ! Lovely tractor the e27n I had one myself a few years back ! Great video again !

Very nice Steve, am worried that moisture and rust can get in between them two plates where you’ve riveted, thoughts?
