Fantastic job Steve great workmanship and must be very satisfying to see what you've achieved 👌 Thankyou for sharing restoration journey with us all. Can't wait to her finished and see it at work 👌👍👍
Bloody good show Steve. Congratulations on the first start. You dont seem the sort of guy to get exited but could tell you were chuffed with the run of the engine and you have every right to be. Youve stayed focused, put in the hours (many of them wirh only one hand) and entertained us all in the process. Thank you. Just looking at the starter, when it didnt engage properly I could see that the rod inside the starter was not going fully home, staying out by, I guess about 3/8" Looking forwrd to the next part and that mudguard.
Can hardly wait for the next video. I build a perkins 4.236 in a MF35 many years ago it is still our favorite around the farm. So your project is really exciting.😊
What a fantastic series this has been, as you say theres always something special about a first start up 😁 im assuming that the blanking plate on the fuel pump where the lift pump would normally be fitted is because you have such a good gravity supply of fuel 🤔 the old oil pressure gauge on my BD144 always showed about 2/3 up the gauge but the new one only shows about 1/3 way up the gauge so am waiting on a calibrated gauge coming so can actually see what psi im getting 🤔 so looking forward to the next installment 👌

Is it the Swaton run your aiming at having it finished for?
Yes Richard it will be done as long as the gearbox runs ok, I'll be there with another tractor if it doesn't 👍
