I am so glad you did a segment on just part 3. It's been my favorite one. I was 10 when I watched it back then. Always loved Jason in this one. Great job on this vid too! Love it!! 🎉
i was too young to see Friday, Nightmare, Jaws in theaters, so only got to see the 3D versions after the fact at home. Out of those, I think Friday did it best.
I saw " Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3 - D" in a theater opening night when I was 12. There's a scene (in 3 -D) involving the character Rick. The woman sitting in the aisle seat, 2 seats to my left barfed big-time. In the 44 years that have passed since then I have yet to someone else barf at the movies!
What are you talking about at the 9:09 mark? Sadly not the old school blue and red 3D? When it was originally released in theaters it wasn’t blue and red, it was polarized 3D (like the current RealD movies). Only the crappy 3D disc release from a few years ago had that blue and red (which is awful). During this period there was a 3D resurgence… F13, Metalstorm, Jaws, Spacehunter, Comin’ At Ya’, etc. And all of them were polarized.
I saw Freddy’s Dead in theaters & loved the film at the time! Also nice to just have a portion of the film in 3D & they literally show you when to put them on!
Friday the 13th part 3 was the first film in that series that I watched. One of the first horror movies I'd watched in general. I was on the edge of my seat at the end when Chris is battling Jason. That was INTENSE for me. 😂 It's always gonna be special to me because of that. I was 10 years old and it pretty much sealed the deal. I became a horror nut.
fd 5 did confirm that killing another worked. There was dialogue explaining the person he killed had terminal cancer and was gonna die at that point anyway.
"Sadly, (Scream Factory's Blu Ray is) not in old-school blue and red 3-D..." Lol... Do the writer and presenter not know that Friday the 13th Part 3 was originally shown in polarized 3D? The movie was originally shown through a proprietary 3D lens that was brought to the theater and aligned by a Paramount rep. Audience members were given 2 pairs of glasses: one tan or gray polarized pair to view the film (required to be returned at the end of the film) and another traditional red/blue pair for the promotional poster in the lobby and to keep as a souvenir. Part 3 was released in 3D in a very limited run. More commonly, drive-ins and smaller theaters got a 2D print of the film to show (and puff up those box office numbers).
I do love me some Friday the 13th 3D. Sadly, I was too young to see it in both 3D and in theaters, but I ended up loving it when I finally did. I hate Freddy's Dead. I hated it then, I hate it now, and I'm sure I'll hate it in the afterlife.
Don't defend "Freddy's Dead" this bad, it truly is an AWFUL send-off for this franchise 😞. The "redeeming" qualities expressed here are just not enough and is trying TOO hard to justify its existence. It is a poorly written, poorly executed film. I love the franchise but that was a terrible final film.
I felt sorry for Shelley but I found him extremely annoying at the same time. The two stoners were annoying to me as well. Love Kris and Rick; they're both lovely. And Vera's OK.
Friday the 13th Part 3 is among my least favorites in the series. It's so boring, but people give it props because "This is where Jason go the Hockey Mask"

I saw Freddy’s Dead opening day in the theatre. I still have all 3 pairs of glasses of 14 year old me, my mom and my dad.
My aunt took me to see this in the theater back in 1982 when I was eleven years old! Good times😁

I am blind in one eye. 3D is lost on me.
U need both eyes for 3D?
Your not missing out on much thankfully... 3d gimmicks ruin movie immersion for me, except for 4d movies at theme parks
Just like Vera.
Well, I'm not blind and you're not missing much. It's cool for a second, then your brain adjusts, and you're left with a hell of a migraine.
I have a lazy eye and 3d glasses make me look like a cartoon character😂

I remember seeing Friday the 13th part 3 in 3D in the theater as a teen and I remember it being cool at the time.
These videos should've been presented in 3D.
In movies made with 3d in mind I love admiring the intentional staging of shots that maximize the depth effect. It's not just about the big gags

Jaws also met the third dimension.

Ranking Friday the 13th 3D: behind 1,2, 4, 5, 7, but in front of all the rest.
😂😂😂
Nightmare 6 is actually one of my favorite Freddy movies.
Jaws 3D is my favorite, not gonna lie
The only big horror franchise that hasn't done 3D is Halloween

When I was a kid, I ordered a 3d poster of Friday the 13th Part 3 of off Fangoria. I loved that poster. Wish I sill had it.
You come from a Voorhees don't tell me y'all are all special too LOL
Trial and error was fantastic; there should have been a 3rd season.
That Poster was NOT banned in the UK. It was everywhere here
Insane opinion - If we can’t have the legend Robert England, I think Jim Carey could make a great Freddy Krueger with direction!
Part 3 of both films are my favorites. 😊 Freddy and Jason
3 was the first Friday the 13th i see in the theater, in 3D.
Love this movie. Seen it in 3D amazing
Many thanks JoBlo 🤘 for me, 3 is the magic number with Freddy and Jason
fd 5 did confirm that killing another worked. There was dialogue explaining the person he killed had terminal cancer and was gonna die at that point anyway.
Yeah but didnt he get smashed by the plane wreckage anyway at the end?
@@joshfacio9379 yeh i believe that character is the one who gets told the guy he killed had cancer
While I love Freddy’s Dead (yes, I said that…out loud) I think Friday part 3 did it much better.
Never saw Freddy 6 in 3d unfortunately. But Friday the 13th was epic
The group in 3 makes almost 0 sense. The hell are they doing with old hippies???
Friday The Franchise Rulez✊🏻!
A Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise Rulez✊🏻!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏My favorite Friday the 13th
synthwave soundtrack before synthwave was a thing
Jason three had personality your right the rest of them he was just a machine that's not realistic

Jason is good in part 3, but the reboot in 2009 makes him even scarier
3 still creeps me out 😂 with that music
Love that music!
Why the video got deleted when first uploaded?
Yep. Friday 3 near the top and my most re-watchable
New Sub!!!❤❤❤
Welcome!!
You almost lost me by being a Shelly fan. He's really annoying!
But Tina from Halloween 5 is worst..
Oh get over yourselves.
You forgot amityville 3d
everybody knows part 6 is the best.

😂😂😂 how about jaws 3d
Saw it in the theater when I was 11 and thought it sucked moose balls. Still do. Same with Jaws 3D. Part 2 of both movies were a shitload better.
Friday the 13th Part 3 is among my least favorites in the series. It's so boring, but people give it props because "This is where Jason go the Hockey Mask"
I enjoy this recent trend of combining old videos into a single long video to capitalize on the popularity of long-form content.🤦
Freddy's dead is trash
Friday 3 is the second best to 4 in my opinion Freddy 6 I saw in the theater hated it hate it even more now jaws 3 is as bad as jaws the revenge
They had a white girl play a Hispanic🤦🏼♀️
