I feel like the Elise and the Corvette are the only ones that fit this video, but if you are going to compare the two you might as well up it to a C5 lol
Would be useful to include the region where the cars and prices are from. Channel name is Polish, price for the Caterham was in GBP and TT and C4 Corvette had ads shown with prices in Euro from Netherlands. In UK BMW Z3's go from 2-10k GBP for normal ones and from 12k+ for Z3M's Other commenter already mentioned the Elise prices " first gen and early 2nd gen ones go for about 14-25k. Cheapest 2nd gen I just found on auto trader was 17k" S2000's start at around 7500 and go all the way to 20k Not a single Corvette C4 on sale in UK at the moment, 16k+ for a C5 There are 18 RX-8's for sale currently, pre-facelift start at 2k, facelift start at 5500 and both go up until around 12k First gen Audi TT's start from 500 gbp up, 2nd gen up from 2000 gbp. Putting 60k brand new Caterham from the factory in a list of "cheap" cars is a questionable decision. Caterhams depending on the age and engine start around 13k, but there are plenty other manufacturers making a Lotus 7 based kit cars.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’m loosely exploring European market, since the prices vary throughout the countries but not too much. This video is just to give idea what to look for and maybe to inspire. Not an ultimate list, a loose suggestion rather
@@devwork247 Just checked Ebay, there is a yellow 2002 one with some non-structural damage to the front for 12500 gbp in Blyth, Northumberland with 23k miles. Most start from 14k gbp though
Hey thank you, it's much appreciated! I used to live for a while in Chicago, so not far from Detroit! And thank you again for your support, every comment like this makes it worth continuing!
imma need someone to show me a 15k Elise. MR2's would be cheaper if the whole MR market was this deflated. Instead this should be about the Porsche Boxter.
@@marcinjedrol For example S2000 is a fun car to drive, but it's currently 25K... for a Miata on steroids. It's not even close to supercars. None of these cars are.
Where did you find a lotus elise for 15k? Because I'm buying it right now...
Thanks for that, I will include all the auctions next time
Came here because of cars. Stayed because of cheese...😂
😂😂😂😂
You can have the nicest engine car sound in the world, but if you are revving like a hoon in a suburbia, you are still a d---
I think we all know someone like this…

Yeah, true. It’s a mixture just for inspiration really not like an ultimate list

If you find an elise for 12k I would be amazed tbh, they are much closer to 30 in the last five years.

Thank you!
Dude this channel is underrated af
Thanks man!!!!
These are not cheap
Relatively to what Ferraris go for - cheap. In grand scheme of things, you’re right!
@@marcinjedrol Wow, what a cool life hack, brb buying a mega mansion because compared to a medieval castle and the white house it's cheap!

The z3m coupe is 35k but actually the convertibles can be as low as 12k
Good observation, noted, thanks!
Nice video
Thanks!

Yeah true. But relatively to ferraris going for half a mil, yeah, kind of cheap
