I refinished an old dresser a few years ago, it was very simple because there were no spindles and I used a small round electric hand sander. It was quick and fun it turned out beautiful. I would redo it in a minute.
Beautiful finish I will be sanding and re coating my old rocking chair to bring it back to life.

We tried to do this with an old kitchen table and chairs we inherited when we were first married. We got one chair done and gave up. LOL I hated sanding all the rungs. That was before we knew about the sanding sponges, I bet it would be a lot easier with those. TFS

My client down the street has a fairly brand new rocking chairs the Finish is in good shape but she wants them White how much prep is it necessary so it accepts white paint

Thanks for the tips! My rocking has peeling flaking lacquer but is already stained much darker than yours. Some of the darker stain is not easily sanding off. Can I just work around it when I put new glaze on? OR do I need to get a perfect stain-free surface first?

I bot a white rocker that has grey spots on it, i guess i have to repaint it . i tried bleach soapy water but doesn't help at all .

I've found great handbook on woodprix website. Good solutions for everyone I think
I think you need to take some time and go to Woodprix website to learn how to make it.
There are many similar projects in Woodprix's plans.
My works too. Used Woodprix handbooks and build it with no problems.
