    You should always check the gap. I bought new plugs for 2018 Honda SI “pre gapped” was getting misfires, pulled the plugs and the gaps were way over. Always check for manufacturing defects.

      Now I have to figure out what plugs go in. I have a 2019 Kia Sorento LX with the GDI. I'm coming up with two different numbers one on Amazon and one on eBay. I'm going in for a recall on some fuse link. They said it could cause a fire. It's somewhere near the back on the driver side. So I'll go to the parts counter and give them my VIN number. And then I will use your instructions and go to it. It shouldn't take me more than 30 minutes from start to finish. I was worried about having to change the plugs. A lot of new engines, The plugs are under the manifold. I was happy to see how easy it is. And don't worry I won't forget the dielectric grease. You learn something everyday. TH-cam college I call it. I will get back with you and let you know how it goes. I'll check all the coil packs too. Total all together is about 80 bucks for all the parts coils and plugs. So that's not too bad. They probably want $300 or better to do it at the dealer. All right have a great day and stay safe and if I need any more reference I'll get back with you. You have a great video. Stay blessed

    Thank you! Do you have a video showing how to release the clip on the coil packs? The clips on the two drivers side coil packs are difficult to loosen and it is difficult to remove the coil packs with the clips attached.

    • @protipsplus
      @protipsplus  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No video but the clips are likely jammed up with fine dust. Try using compressed air (for PC keyboards?). Can be purchased at Office Max and other office supply stores. Spray the clips with air while trying to disconnect. Great question.

      @protipsplus Will do. I got the OEM NGK's. Bought directly from NGK. The weird thing is, my old spark plugs look terrible. But the engine runs great. Curious to see if I notice a difference

      You can also use an open end/ box end wrench or crescent wrench. I don't recommend pliers.

    Why does everyone use a 5/8 socket ? I thought this was an all metric vehicle.

    There is a code when i check the dtc the code is p0620 cylinder #3 random misfiring please help me to solve the problem of my kia sportage 2019 model 2 times burned my ignition coil cylinder #3 when i change the ignition coil within in 2 minutes the ignition coil is again burn can you help me there is posibility the pcm is the main problem why always burn the ignition #3 TIA

    • @protipsplus
      @protipsplus  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is what I found. Common Problems That Trigger the P0620 Code
      1. Alternator failure - Check output voltage. It should be ~ 13.5v. The 2019 Kia Sportage alternator has an internal voltage regulator. The voltage regulator sends power from the alternator to the battery, and controls the charging process. It could be that the voltage regulator is faulty.
      2. Battery failure
      3. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure - less likely
      4. Wiring issue - check and replace/repair bad wires

    • @carlrissacastillo709

      Is there anything else wrong with it that I should take care of so that my car's ignition coil doesn't burn out all the time. What else could be wrong with it because I already changed the alternator assembly the same problem TIA

    • @protipsplus
      @protipsplus  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Everything in the forums points to plug or wiring issues.
