After 10+ hours of driving FSD v12.3 around city streets, parking lots, freeways, and residential areas, these are the categories where FSD 12 needs improvement.
Pretty crazy, not even 3 months ago the issues youd be saying would be critical safety disengagements, now its just "im annoyed the car drove accross the state and couldnt find parking or take the right lane out of the parking lot" Fsd is having its chatgpt moment now, exciting
However there is no reason to believe that progress will continue in a linear fashion, until full autonomy is reached in the near future. That may never happen. Even if FSD is 99 percent capable, that is still not good enough to trust with your life.
You mentioned 5 areas need improvment. Some more come to mind: -detection of objects in the road: broken glass, potholes, pools of water in the lane, roadkill, or even a ladder lying on the ground -obeying the posted speed limit. Lots of videos on TH-cam show 12.3 is breaking the speed limit, by 10 mph. -slowing for speed bumps is inconsistent -cannot read some signs such as "No Right Turn on Red 9am to 5pm" -some turns are taken too sharply, resulting in scratched wheels
