Hello. You will need to install windows on the new ssd. While you are in the install process, you should have the opportunity to make partitions for your drive. It would be best to back everything up but you could also buy a usb dock for the old hdd and copy things back over to the new sdd

Nice tutorial, really appreciable. I have a problem with my Lenovo Ideapad 510 15isk (i7 6500u, 8gbDDR3, 1tb, 4gb graphs.) I have bought it on July 2016. Initially it gave 4.5 hours of battery backup and gradually it came down to 2.5-3 hours. But suddenly last week the battery status is showing 0% and its not charging, if I remove the plug then laptop is getting off. I used to always plugged the AC on and used the laptop, never let the battery get down below 30%. I have also tried the Lenovo ONE KEY OPTIMIZER to calibrate the battery but it was of no use. Is this a software problem or really the battery is dead ? I will contact the Lenovo Support afterwards they charge too much. Please give me any suggestions if anyone have.

It is 2400 mhz probably, u just have to tweak some boot settings in bios and create a xmp profile.

You need to buy a hdd caddy of 9.5 mm thickness to install a 2 5 Sata SSD preferably of Samsung. it is available on our website.

You are looking at the wrong IC...it does have a NVIDIA gfx under the heatsink which u need to remove.

The battery cycles are probably over. generally the battery dies after 1.5- 2 years of usage. Ideally get the battery replaced.

i watch your video and upgraded my ram 8GB ddr4. But after installing ram 8GB ram the windows 10 usable ram 9.81 only usable instead of 12 GB. can you solve problems.

Hey guys, I'm planning to upgrade my ram to 16gb for this similar laptop. But since there's an onboard 4gb ram, will i come across any issues if i purchase a 16gb ram stick which will result in a total of 20gb ram in my system?
Nevermind. After reading the comments below, i realized i can add an extra 16gb ram.
