Enjoying the channel and watched to the end. My wife and I are same as you guys when it comes to boat etiquette. I hate when someone touches my vessel but in an emergency helping hands are always welcome! So good on you for helping those fellow boaters!

The hurry up and wait game with hurricanes is never fun here is FL. I'm in Central Florida, so I completely understand. It can be very stressful. On the positive side, it gives us ample time prepare. Once it's gone and family and friends are okay and the normalcy sets back in for me, it's like hitting a brick wall. I get plenty of sleep and recharge. I really enjoy your honesty and compassion. I'm enjoying your journey one day at a time.
Thank you! Appreciate the awesome comment and kind words. Lindsey had never been around hurricanes so the whole thing was very new to her. She also feels for others in a deep way… so it was a lot for her. We were blessed though and many weren’t. My parents lost their cars and still can’t get into their home. But everyone is healthy and in a positive frame of mind so that is what matters. Thanks again for the comment. Hope to see you here again.
@The71Percent the first one is never fun, and compassion for others is good. Sorry to hear about your parents, yet they lived through it and have a good attitude about it, and that is a blessing. BTW, the channel name is great, and you and Lindsey are creating excellent content.
Nathan and Lindsey are fabulous people and we enjoy their company. They are also conscientious cruisers and know their stuff. Stay tuned - you can learn a lot here. I look forward to future episodes.
Way to capture the loooong stress and emotional roller coaster of waiting one of these out. So interesting to watch your real time experience of it. Crazy how the effects of this monster were felt even in places considered safe. So glad you guys decided to go south. It made our loss tolerable knowing you two were out of harm's way. Good job on the good deeds, keeping each other safe and supported, and smiling in the rain. Looking forward to part 2....and many more. Super enjoyable to watch !!
@@The71PercentI'm in Tarpon Springs and been back in Pinellas County since '84. I get how feel about the hurricanes. It's like you're ecstatic that you and your stuff is OK but then you feel bad because of what's happened to other folks. All you can do is lend a hand where you can.
You two are just awesome story-tellers and you both captioned the event that you shared with all. Awesome Audio and Video. Thanks for the Story! Curious about that Transmission?
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words so much. We can’t believe how positive everyone has been about our channel so far. We crossed from tarpon springs to Carrabelle 38 hours and half way we hit 10’ seas lost both engines power and generator needless to say a nightmare. It was just my hubs and myself with no auto pilot. He got delirious and started seeing green birds and waterfalls 😮. Our boat looked like it had been picked up and shook. I couldn’t even get to the kitchen. Long story short we made it to the marina in Carrabelle mid day the following day and met by the coast guard who were looking for us because our kids alerted them and they were about to launch a helicopter search and rescue.
I was at Twin Dolphin Marina in Bradenton and our docks were 2 feet from floating off the pylons……Thank gawd Milton had very little surge….I have Volvos and Im getting tired of the fault codes…lol
You two are so awesome, the best dock mates and genuinely good people! Looking forward to watching your future adventure’s and joining you on some more boat trips in the future.

They are 725hp Volvo diesels. Two of them. Boat cruises at 26knots and top speed is 34.
But we usually go 8 😂
Awesome
