Here we are 2020 and the adidas Ultraboost has made its way into sneaker culture for the long term stay, even retroing its popular original colorways such as the Triple Black 1.0 which is available now in description..
I reached out to you guys on social to see what are your favorite UltraBoost models are of all time. This list can be taken a few different ways. Hype or no hype, I own more pairs of Ultra boost than any other sneaker and still love wearing them, simply because of the comfort and their looks.
My number one is the LTD Silver 1.0. Underrated color way for sure.
I just bought a pair of 2.0 Triple Whites, probably one of my personal favorite Ultra Boosts that I own but also one of my favorite colorways hands down.
I remember the days UBs were selling out. Good times.
Some of the ultra boost that release recently if they released during hype would be going for thousands
What got me into boost wasn’t actually the comfort, it was the texture and look of the boost foam itself.
My top 1.0, even though it's not 1st generation, is the Engineered Garments Bluebird model, with great colors and an assymetrical design.
Oof that’s the one and only reason i don’t like that colorway the assymetrical design just bugs me a bit

I feel you on that. I really like my ‘Harem renaissance’ 1.0s the purple just pops off the black like woah. Those EG bluebirds are fire tho 🔥

my first ultra boost wasn't even an ultra boost. it was EQT support ultra. EQT upper with ultra boost soles. I still remember how it feels on my feet. then i got a few more pairs of ultra boost, nmd and nite jogger. really love how the boost is comfortable for me.
Man, I wish Adidas rereleased a navy blue Ultraboost 1.0 again... I would settle for a royal blue or their legend ink... That's why i love the kinfolk Ultraboost with little hits of pink with suede toe guard and that 1.0 pattern. They just look so simple and clean.

1:50 I remember trying on my homie's Ultraboost in 2015/2016 since we were only a half shoe size apart and falling in love with the Boost sole. Been copping Ultraboost 1.0's-3.0's, NMD's,Pureboosts,EQT 93/17,Yeezy Boosts,etc ever since.
The ultra boost game if thrones white walkers are the favorite that I own. They are so clean and the most comfortable shoe I can rock all day. Ultra boost is way underrated
The winter ready by far is my favorite with the reflective material, water resistance, and lace system. The trail version of the ultraboost is dope as well. Never had a 1.0 but the triple black are tempting.
I think the cream 1.0s are the cleanest colourway, I have a pair of originals and a pair of the re release. I've got a pair of the re release OG colourway and being mostly black I still just wear them all the time

My favorite is the 3.0 Ltd grey leather and suede heel counter. It was one of the first leather on ultraboost and I think those are the best looking ones. Also love the lux

Best boosts imo are the show your stripes 4.0 in white with blue stripes
The first boosts that blew my mind were the Energy Boost in 2014.

My Parley Ultraboost 1.0's , my triple white 1.0's are still 9/10. The OG Black with White midsole has been through so much but I rock 'em daily to my dirty workplace. Best overall shoe I've ever had.

I don’t like the first generation ones mainly because they don’t have the Continental outsoles. :P I’m not sure if they’re all following the 1.0 pattern, but my top 3 would be:
1. Engineered Garments, the blue mismatched ones
2. Nicekicks tie-dyes
3. The olympic pack (gold/silver/bronze heel counter)
And I’m pretty sure the A Kind of Guise collab is a pattern of its own, but I really like those too. And the all-silver ones. Okay that’s 5 in total now...

ignignokt - i know. I have a few of those, too. That’s why I said first generation, not 1.0’s.
I remember that Hes said that the pureboost...wasn't something crazy...and felt like a roshe run.
If you check out the upcoming Ultraboost models on GOAT, you'll see there is a Winter RDY version of UB coming soon. I'm pretty excited about that, as the Summer RDYs have a cool, unique look.

Dame's Rookie of the year colorway of the Real Deal is awesome. It's over of my favorite adidas models in general of all time
I've never forget and I will always own a pair. I'd take a UB anyway over anything atm. Nike react is comfy when you first put on but the upper doesn't look near as good and the comfort seems to fade as you wear them.

The OG colorway and the Reigning Champ collab were the best imo
Rocked multiple PureBoost 1.0's for two years before I caved and got some UB 1.0's. I viewed them as the adidas version of a Nike Roshe Run at the time lol So wish they brought them back for the real OG boost fans!! Used to be able to find them for $40 at Ross but they're all long gone nowadays

Great video. The hard part is there have been so many great UB's. I know the 3.0's get overlooked but I think they're the most comfortable. The 3.0 CNY, Trace Cargo and Burgundy's are great. That said, the 1.0 is king. My top 3 are the Mystery Grey, Cream and Silver Ltds. Some honorable mentions are the Eddie Huang CNY's, white multi colors, and Wool Greys.

I bought the solar yellow and chalk 1.0s when they retroed as the prices got out of hand when the first dropped. I love them but the ankle area is super tight. I don’t have any OG 1.0’s but i read online that the OG’s weren’t even that toght. It’s like the made the opening smaller and because it’s mesh there isn’t much stretch. I stretched them out using a special rig i made and they fit better now

I am currently and slowly picking up as many of the OG 1.0 colorways as I can (as long as they're something I'll wear). I just found the 1.0 Mystery Greys on eBay for a great deal (which makes 10 of the 1.0's, I believe), and I am next looking for the triple whites and core blacks.

unfortunately i learned the hard way that adidas restocked the Burgundy 1.0 in Canada...size 7 is still on the site...I found out because I pulled trigger on Stock X for what I thought was the burgundy made on 7/15...but when I received them they had a continental outsole & a created on date of 7/20...prolly a better show than the original but not worth the resale price i paid...I made a case with stock X...hopefully they give me sum credit or sumthing to lessen the cost🤷🏻♂️....pretty crazy that adidas were so quiet about restock...I've looked EVERYWHERE & no sneaker site announced it...pretty sure they dropped w/the Triple black 1.0 restock
I got my hands on the iss national labs ultraboost 20 and im loving it, unlike any shoe iv ever worn, their not even comparable to the nmds for me, probably cuz im a heavy dude and the nmd doesnt have enough foam to support me so they feel like vans almost

Hello Hes. Just watched your vid a few minutes ago. Have been a subscriber to your channel since 2016 or earlier than that (honestly can’t remember, time flies). Needing your input. I’m in a position to able to get my first 1.0 from the college pack that just released and don’t know which color to get. I’ve purchased already some items from Boosted Stripes (katakana laces royal blue and red with red stripes) and plan to do a little customization but stuck which shoe color to get. I’ve been going back and forth between the black, royal blue and red since those are still available in my size 10.5 men’s and that would work with the laces and stripes I have. The black/red colored shoe I like how the 1.0 pattern pops since I’m originally from Chicago (MJ & Bulls fan) and would also work with the red/black colored shoe. I also have extra white and black katakana laces from a previous boosted stripes purchase. But the royal blue/white colored shoe also would work with the laces and stripes I have in hand. Sorry for the long comment. Just need to know what would you recommend since you’ve customized your UB’s before with Boosted Stripes. Thank you and hope to hear back from you soon.
