I'll never forget hearing "If it isn't Betty Crocker from the hood" for the first time and the loud GASP I let out. My jaw was on the floor. Rhonda's patience, unmatched.
YESSSS A CLASSIC!! I can’t believe it’s 20 yrs old 😭 The “waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought…” line is permanently etched into my brain.
I was so in love with hilary duff movies/tv as a kid. Cinderella Story, Lizzie McGuire, Raise Your Voice, Material Girls, Cadet Kelly, Agent Cody Banks, etc. All on constant rotation
A Cinderella Story being 20 years old today feels unreal, I remember watching it theaters. one of my favorite comfort movies that I can recite every line and never get tired of the soundtrack. also making me the hopeless romantic I am today. ❤
It’s interesting knowing Simon Halberg, who plays Terry, is about to play Howard in the Big Bang Theory who has a lot of the same mannerisms and characteristics
@@kingcastlequeenbeckett Yes, it’s like his training! 😅 If there’s a Cinderella Story 2 like they’re making Freaky Friday 2, do you think some of the female characters will ‘fix’ Terry like Penny and Bernadette fixed Howard so he won’t be a creep, but still a dork?
Best Cinderella Story ever! It being 20 years old makes me feel so old! I took both of my boys to see this in theaters when it came out and they love it to this day ❤❤
43:48 Fun fact! Hilary and Chad had JUST met to film this movie together and this scene, where they first kiss, was the very first scene they filmed together for this movie.. 🫨 they didn’t even get to have the luxury of getting to know each other from days/weeks of filming together before filming this scene! 😅
What we also need on this channel - in tribute to this movie and to the Parent Trap (since they both used 'This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)'): Another Cinderella Story (I liked it - more than the following ones) The Parent Trap (1961 - tell us which one you like more) Freaky Friday (1976 - comparing Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis to Barbara Harris and Jodi Foster isn't going to be easy) Down With Love (2004) Cinderella (1997 - Brandy, Paolo Montalban, Whoopi Goldberg, Bernadette Peters, Victor Garber, Jason Alexander and of course the late, great Whitney Houston) Hazbin Hotel (TH-cam Pilot and Amazon Prime 8 episode season 1) Helluva Boss (Hazbin Hotel's sister series, can't wait for you to meet the embodiments of the Deadly Sins - if you don't get the hype over some characters voice actors from both series that's ok, that's out-and-proud-theatre-geeks declaring their love for the various broadway singers on both shows).
Thank you for this classic icon!! I can’t believe it’s been 2 decades!! I can still recite these quotes especially Jennifer and Regina’s banters!! I also loved doing the Prince/Princess quiz on the dvd!! This, Ever After, and Disney’s Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella were my Cinderella movies!! I loved Hilary Duff growing up, and I can’t wait to see you guys watch The Lizzie Maguire Movie!! I’d love to see you guys watch the Cheaper By The Dozen double features!! I’d also love to see you guys watch Chad in Netflix’s Mother of the Bride with Miranda Cosgrove!! 👱🏻♀️👱🏻♂️📱⚾️🏈🐸🛼🧢👑🤍🩵💖
Raise your voice is another good Hilary Duff movie ❤ With the the whole Cinderella mask situation I just add that into the Clark Kent/Superman glasses effect 😂
Oh my goodness I loved this movie when I was a kid! I had it on DVD and I watched it like ALL the time with my little sister. I loved Lizzie McGuire so I was willing to watch anything with her in it 😂😂
I always defended him not recognizing her because yk its a big school and they're not in the same circles at all but I completely forgot that he saw her literally a day before and THEE day of the dance, like I get maybe not knowing her name but at least her face
Dude, 20 years ago I was 21. I feel so old! xD My god, why do so many people make fun of her for working at the diner? They eat at that diner! They're lucky she doesn't spit in their food.
This one never gets old. It was always playing on TV when I'd get home from school so I can't tell you how many times I watched it. 😅 Never heard that about Rupert. That would've been interesting lol.
🎉❤ the thing I love about this version is whether he would've came around or not she would've been fine. Because Sam was learning to rescue herself. BTW... we all know they didn't last past freshman year. Sam majored in business and got a life. He majored in poetry and wallowed in his dorm over Wattpad
For it to be 20 years old but hillary and chad to look just the same is insane! Chad micheal murray was my childhood crush! Loved his starting with freaky friday then this then Gilmore girls. I was obsessed with this man and still am!! Also lizzie Mcguire was my show growing up! I watched every single episode multiple times!! I was so ecstatic when this movie came out. This was the biggest movie of my childhood!
I love this film! It's such a shame that this movie bombed in the box office, but I'm glad enough people watched it over the years to make it a cult classic.
It’s the fact that people made fun of her for having a job at a place they go to all the time like I don’t get it let laugh at her for working at a diner but let’s also always go to that diner to eat and hang out like wtf can you guys react to all the versions of Cinderella and then rate them from best to worse
This used to be my favorite movie but I can never watch it again after my ex .. this was her favorite movie, and she quotes it heavy "never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game" this and I can't finish Grey's Anatomy 😢
It is impossible for Fiona to have "gotten" everything when Sam's father died. Under California intestate succession law, Sam would have been entitled to half of everything her father owned before he married Fiona.
30:42 I'm guessing it's still illegal if he's 18 but still a student? I guess it was just a case of he got bored at the dance, said something to her, then they started talking and.....one thing led to another.......how far did it go?
#pettypumpkins please react to one of my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movies its from 1o94 its called JUNIOR it has Arnold Schwarzenegger danny devito and emma Thompson love interest and Pamela Reed from kindergarten cop its a awesome science fiction romantic comedy you guys will love it
"I've NEVER seen my husband's hidden will before!" 😂 Every line she utters in this movie is comedic brilliance.
I still quote this and many other Fiona quotes all the time 😂❤
I'll never forget hearing "If it isn't Betty Crocker from the hood" for the first time and the loud GASP I let out. My jaw was on the floor. Rhonda's patience, unmatched.
YESSSS A CLASSIC!! I can’t believe it’s 20 yrs old 😭 The “waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought…” line is permanently etched into my brain.
can't believe that 2004 was 20 years ago 😭
I was so in love with hilary duff movies/tv as a kid. Cinderella Story, Lizzie McGuire, Raise Your Voice, Material Girls, Cadet Kelly, Agent Cody Banks, etc. All on constant rotation
Same! She was my favorite when I was a kid
“People who use extra water have extra class” just tickles me
She read him to filth in the locker room ❤🎉
This movie and Twilight are the reason I'm obsessed with lit gazebos.
I just turned 40 on Sunday and now hearing that this absolute classic is 20 years old has me wanting to curl up and cry 😅😅😭😭
A Cinderella Story being 20 years old today feels unreal, I remember watching it theaters. one of my favorite comfort movies that I can recite every line and never get tired of the soundtrack. also making me the hopeless romantic I am today. ❤
Same! I blame these 2000s romcoms on how much of a hopeless romantic I am 😂😂
It’s interesting knowing Simon Halberg, who plays Terry, is about to play Howard in the Big Bang Theory who has a lot of the same mannerisms and characteristics
He’s just Wolowitz in this movie and I love it 😂
@@kingcastlequeenbeckett Yes, it’s like his training! 😅 If there’s a Cinderella Story 2 like they’re making Freaky Friday 2, do you think some of the female characters will ‘fix’ Terry like Penny and Bernadette fixed Howard so he won’t be a creep, but still a dork?
Not me just realizing who that was watching this reaction! 🤯

I didn’t realize the step sister was Grace from The Nanny

💋😘 also did y'all know this was Hillary's REAL first kiss?!? She told Chad and the director right before the scene she was nervous. Aww 🥰
And he was way older than her
The scene where they dance. The song that was on Roswell New Mexico, when Alex and Michael get married.
I watched this soooo many times and at 33 still rewatch once a year or so. So glad y’all did this!!
This movie is everything! I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it…❤
I've always thought that Hilary Duff looked like a young Blanche Devereaux / Rue McClanahan
Woah I didn’t expect this one I’m so excited I over watched this growing up
There is a murder mystery mini series called eyewitness that I think you both would love.
Raise your voice is another good Hilary Duff movie ❤
With the the whole Cinderella mask situation I just add that into the Clark Kent/Superman glasses effect 😂
Oh my goodness I loved this movie when I was a kid! I had it on DVD and I watched it like ALL the time with my little sister. I loved Lizzie McGuire so I was willing to watch anything with her in it 😂😂
My favorite movie and I'm from sfv. Saying the lines by memory is too easy😅
-PLS DO MORE HILLARY DUFF MOVIES? MAYBE HILLARY DUFF SERIES??? Love y'al😊l
I always defended him not recognizing her because yk its a big school and they're not in the same circles at all but I completely forgot that he saw her literally a day before and THEE day of the dance, like I get maybe not knowing her name but at least her face
Sprint had to be in on this movie because tell me why I got a sprint flip phone around this movie time 😅
For Lin Shaye, watch Snakes On A Plane!!!!!
This reaction deserves more likes and views.
You two are the bestest 🫶 I remember watching this with my daughter when she was little 🥹 so sweet with a great cast.
Dude, 20 years ago I was 21. I feel so old! xD
My god, why do so many people make fun of her for working at the diner? They eat at that diner!

Loved guys!
BEAUTY AND THE BRIEFCASE!!!
Clocked the Simple Favor reference. 🎉❤
The Northridge Quake happened around 4:30 a.m. There is no way that Sam's father would have been reading her a bedtime story at that time.
This movie started my lifetime obsession with anything Regina King is in.
This movie is in the same corner of my mind as ella enchanted and the princess diaries. Pure classics.
ps. I didn't even know Hillary Duff acted??
Absolutely LOVE our girly Madeline Zima from The Nanny as the dumber stepsister
I love this film! It's such a shame that this movie bombed in the box office, but I'm glad enough people watched it over the years to make it a cult classic.

I love your reaction and amazing.😍😂
Chad Michael Marry Me!!!! 💍
While we're on Cinderella movies, can ya'll do Ever After and the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical with Brandy?? My two favorites!
You know, they just don’t make teen movies like this anymore 🤷🏻♂️😭
if you love Lin so much try watching the movie something about Mary.
It is impossible for Fiona to have "gotten" everything when Sam's father died. Under California intestate succession law, Sam would have been entitled to half of everything her father owned before he married Fiona.
#pettypumpkins i love your guys reaction on one of my favorite Hillary duff movies

This movie gave me unrealistic expectations for my own love life XD
You guys should def react to Fall of the House of Usher you will gag in the best way😂
30:42 I'm guessing it's still illegal if he's 18 but still a student?
I guess it was just a case of he got bored at the dance, said something to her, then they started talking and.....one thing led to another.......how far did it go?
It's kind of giving Easy A because it's the same actor
Austin has face blindness
Interesting choice for a channel reacting to horror films!
We’ve actually done quite a bit of non-horror on the channel already!
That's not an ascot, that's a Jabot
#pettypumpkins please react to one of my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movies its from 1o94 its called JUNIOR it has Arnold Schwarzenegger danny devito and emma Thompson love interest and Pamela Reed from kindergarten cop its a awesome science fiction romantic comedy you guys will love it
