Thanks for the review. I have both the Skyward X and the Nimbus 25, and the Skyward is way more responsive and higher performing in every way. The Nimbus feels dead to me on runs. I returned the Neo Vista because I felt like it just kept bottoming out for me. To me, Neo Vista = Nimbus with a plate. 5'8", 170lbs...like you said, it's probably more for folks of my weight.

@@RyKnocks Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad to hear the Skyward X gives you some of that magic.

The Running Company Geelong should offer a carrot and give a 5 or 10% discount if we use the link. I think more people would be purchasing from it. Great review as always! My big issue with the shoe is the cost and I'm not a fan of the aesthetics either! 🤑 Will you be testing the Asics Noosa Tri 16?

Hoka Bondi X version 2? Have you ever tried it? I have and I don't think I broke it in but it was just too firm for me.

@@joey.chavez333 I didn't get a chance to run in the Bondi X. I stayed clear after I heard it was really firm. Thanks for the comment.

I enjoyed and used Bondi X for most of my running, and it was very firm. Decided to try the Skyward X since finding a Bondi X is very difficult now. I am about 100KG, where I considered Bondi X as being compliant, the Skeyward X definetely less firm - more squishy than compliant on the road. Skyward X did offer a smooth ride though, but as @run-are noted the stacked height is very different, the shoe if tipped on the side too far would be a big fall. For that, I like the shoe but not a big fan of it.
