I live near the fantasy world and i still remember when i was a kid, every night, this place is full of bright lights in the middle of the forest and its really beautiful and magical in that place back those days, to be honest. And It makes me so sad when the lights are never been turned on and been abandoned.

When I was in 4th grade (as far as I can remember, it was around 2004-2005?), our school had a field trip and Fantasy World was one of our destinations. It was vibrant, magical and full of life at the time. There were various performances and activities. Lucky to have been in that place during its glorious days. 💛✨

@@vincentdecastro4925 yeah, sayang lang hindi na natapos yung place na yan and eventually it was abandoned due to, I believe, lack of funding since it's a giant project. Supposedly, they're going to turn the surrounding ground as a theme park with rides, so the main view would be the castle. They did somehow with a few mini rides; however, it was never completed.

I was trying to remember what Fantasy World is and it just hit me after seeing the thumbnail. This is so sad. I remember visiting this place with my family before we moved to NY. I believe it was in 2002, I was only 10. I remember it being under construction and I was so sad that we couldn't go inside the castles. My mom was a real estate agent for those condos that's why we were allowed to visit while it was being built. They had so much plans for this theme park. I actually remember that hanging bridge but we weren't allowed to go on it yet that time. It was always rainy and gloomy whenever we visited. Even before it opened it already had an abandoned feel to it.

Did people ever move into the condos ? I read the Japanese man who started the development actually died and that is why it was never finished. Other investors in the project lost their money. I don't know who owns it now, but the original plans had the theme park, country club, condos etc.

juandenz2008 I'm not really sure what happened to it since we moved, that's why I'm so surprised that it closed already. it hasn't been that long. It's still a nice area to live in tho with great views and cooler temperature. But part of the deal is that you get to go in the theme park for free if you own a condo or w.e (pretty sure they're expensive), and with no theme park, not sure if it's still worth the price.

Been there a couple of times. I was able to stay overnight at the hotel there. The weather was nice because it was December but the atmosphere around the place is eerie and kind of depressing. I liked the two tall tree house with the hanging bridge and I was able to climb and cross it even though not it was not allowed.

When I was 4 years old my family and I went on vacation and found this castle out of no where. So we decided to check it out and we actually did a lot of things there. There used to be a restaurant in there and a lot of people who visited it. LIKE A LOT and now when you posted this the things we used to wear for pictures and royalty pics it’s now on the stock room. And when you went upstairs and you got scared because of the thing with brown coat my dad used to wear that when we visited that so much years ago. It’s just sad how I see everything broken in pieces.

Our school actually had a trip there once (when I was in Kindergarten) around 2008-2009 and the place was up and running. But we were only allowed outside with some arcade games in the middle of the 4 castles (or buildings?). Hope you enjoy your stay here in the Philippines! ☺

I remember going here for my birthday when I was 5 or 6 and forgotten all about till I passed by it months ago and remembered everything. I feel really sad that it was abandoned this whole time and I only found this guys channel today and very amused about it. I brought this topic up with my best friend and we made a promise that if it isnt rebuilt by the time we are grown up, we will rebuild it ourselves (15 as of this comment). Back in 2001 when I was courting my wife, we took a trip to Lake Taal , and while there, we talked to a real estate agent who gave us pamphlets and brochures for Fantasy World. It's sad it was never completed.

I visited this place years ago before I even started vlogging. There were rumors spreading that this place is haunted right at the time when there was a series being filmed in that exact location. From what I heard, the owners are trying to sell this place but due to the vast area it covers sand the increase of mortgage that is drastic and massive, no one plans to buy the place. the owners are trying to sell the land to the government as well but at that time, they were not buying it because of loan issues and concerns that it might affect the agricultural sector in that area.

There used to be a running restaurant open for visitors inside the castle. I remember ordering pizza, too. Saw this place being built growing up. You had to be a member to be able to get in before. I wonder if I can still find our member's I.D. The bush that you thought was a turtle used to be a peacock. There was even a maze there in the garden. There were also koi fish in the fountain near the treehouse back in the day. I miss that place! So many memories from when I was younger. 😞

When I was a child, we regularly passed by this place in our trips through the provinces. But I never once went through the road downhill, let alone come inside the castle grounds.

I remember this place. They also had a lot of mascots walking around and had faux snow while having a dance performance in front of the castle every 30 minutes. Its so nostalgic. I even remember crossing that treehouse when i was young.
you should have went to baguio and explored the abandoned hotel there. more of a haunted hotel because a lot of people died in it due to an earthquake or some sort not sure.
