    I love panels too! 💖 I think there's a lot of different ways to use them and there are so many to choose from....I think they're great for all levels of quilters. Thank you for sharing. 😊🌹🍁

    Thanks Michelle. I am thinking of making a panel quilt for the first time. My friend is retiring soon and loves hummingbirds. I found a beautiful panel of them.

    I was just cleaning in my quilting room today and came across some of those same older panels. And I still love them

    Some could be made for interesting backings too I'd imagine!!

      Lisa, I never thought of putting a panel on the back! What an interesting idea! It would be a great way to use some up!!!

    Thanks again for sharing. I'm still enjoying all of your videos. I call cheater cloth yardage that is meant to look like pieced blocks or fabric panels that look like a completed quilt top. I haven't used panels in my quilts much yet but I use some to practice my FMQ on and some that I do want to feature in pieced quilts.

      Hi Cherry! I'm so glad to hear from you and I'm so glad you continue to watch and enjoy my videos! There are so many amazing panels out there and they make really neat and fun quilts! Plus they usually come together quickly! I am working on some really fun quilt projects I will be showing soon! I also continue to organize my quilt room and in the process this week, I found more panels in my stash!!

    Thank you! I just bought the bloom and grow fat quarters and the blue panel yesterday. I was browsing today trying to figure out what I was going to do. You have inspired me and I was actually looking at your new panel book on Amazon today. I think I'll get it. I bought the large "sunshine "canvas panel for my daughter and prewashed it. I starched it and it looks great. Still need to figure out what I'm going to do with it! Lol. Thanks again!

      Bloom and grow is a very nice collection and I love the Sunshine panel! Do you prewash all your fabrics or just the canvas panel?

    • @theresaconner7173
      @theresaconner7173 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never prewash. I do however startch. A LOT! :) I find that my piecing looks so much better. Kinda feel like im cheating because I'm not that good lol! Somedays I think it takes me longer to prepare my fabric than it is to sew it. 🤪

    I am massively struggling with panels. I cannot for the life of me get pieces square when I am trying to cut the pieces out. I have an Alphabet panel, every single letter is out of square.
