A few things that I noticed: - Morale is everything in this game, your allies started losing one after another once Hua Xiong made the army morale's plummet - Morale makes the game very fast paced so you have no time to wander around and kill small fry, you must follow the strategy, aim for the officers and move on fast with your horse - Struggling allies seem to get a quick replenish once you get to where they are so you can maybe use that to prevent massive loss - In this particular map the strategy seems to assist Sun Jian from the get-go so his troops can help the others asap, maybe rushing to Liu Bei next (but giving a replenish to Yuan Shao and others on the way) - Lu Bu is absurdly strong, it's probably his most formidable version lol
On top of overall army morale, there’s unit morale that’s represented as “courage” (the up arrows by their name/darker colors on the map. This affects their aggression and as you mentioned, they’re tougher to defeat, which is why some of your allies with neutral morale were getting destroyed when going up against them
Something like DW6, where there was overall morale (shown by the top corner Blue/Red bar) and unit specific morale (different colored arrows: yellow high, red maximum, blue low and purple none). It worked similary as well, where one higher specific morale could hold off multiples officers or even start killing them, especially if it was maximum. Mind you, in that game it wasn't that fast for units to die (unless you're playing the PS2 Special edition, where the lack of troops makes so officers clash more directly).
DW Origins Lu Bu is definitely way harder to defeat than DW9 Lu Bu & DW7 Lu Bu, significantly harder than DW8 Lu Bu & DW6 Lu Bu.....DO NOT PURSUE LU BU unless you want to get choked so hard until you became unconscious on the floor 59:14
I am glad that DW is back to the whole armies scope that were lacking in DW8 and were badly done in DW9 and the graphics, OST and parts of the gameplay seem really well done. Though I agree with some of the following complains (mentioned somewhat in the stream): -How you allies start dying if morale goes bad is too fast. Thre was still some Blue in the bar and still your officers drop like ants. Hopefully the main lauch is more balanced; -The whole "Dark Souls" approach: on one hand it may prove to be a good change, but on the other I cannot stop seeing this as a hard fit for Musou games due to the hundreds of soldiers in the midst while you are doing the lock-on and dodges, with some of them requiring way too much damage and you don't having the time to it; - Nitpick:They made the officers obviously bigger than the troops around; - I like the idea of battlefield tactics for allies and enemies that can be prevented. What I don't like are the freaking gongs! Too loud and they just keep repeating them without necessity! There is a video where they show the Yuan Shu campaing stage where they were used obnoxiously in the end of it so this is a feature to ALL times it happens in the game. They NEED to put some Off option for that sound. -Taking control of the companion and getting 1000 K.0 in one fell swoop... Here we go again with taking away the weight of it, just like SW4. Some people may not mind however.
@@mesousagaby740 Too earlier for me to judge. Though I prefer not focusing on OC unless it is a secondary mode and have the main cast as playable. Then again this is Origins, so may not count as a official DW10, in that case it should be fine. Wish they added apperance customization by the player (at least it seems he will change as time advances?).
Koei seem to like Si Shui Gate to be a stage where your forces get destroyed fast if you don't intervene. DW4 + especially DW7 would see Hua Xiong plough through and kill Yuan Shao really fast. But at least here, your allies at least damage the officers rather than not putting a scratch on them and they do kill a few officers. I wonder if you can go straight to Hua Xiong and stop him destroying your force's morale. That's what those other Si Shui Gates wanted you to do. I've seen Hu Lao Gate and your officers don't die like flies there and they get kills.
We have a policy against counting, so please don't do that. Xaldin likes his mods to file paperwork for every ban against counting and it's a lot of work so please don't add to our plate.
Yeah this was hella fun. lu bu killed me tons of times. Manage to have two different outcomes were i saved cao cao, sun jian and lui bei. And the other one were they all died lmao
I hate it. I wish they'd just go back to DW9's formula, instead of this dogshit super-armor parry nonsense. And I usually like parries in my action games. Thanks Dynasty Warriors Origins, you ruined parries for me.
What “formula”? Ride around this empty map and do a shitty siege once in a while where you can air combo an officer and stun lock even on nightmare? DW9 is a horrible game to base your take off of

Thanks to you I finally got to beat the game. Definitely a lot harder than previous one
Duels with timer, Wall of fate soundtrack, a mad Lu Bu and no „go here and there“-missions…
DW4 fans eat well in this Demo 🔥
As a DW4 great fan, i totally agree with you :)

I'll be honest, I'd rather eat delicious and healthy food instead of doing something that contributes to a decline in health and mental faculties.

Except you HAVE to pursue Lu Bu in this case. XD

What do you think of the whole "Wanderer" character?

This stage ally moral drop very fast after the two general that kill by Hua xiong

in this game, the devs has taken the "Do not pressure Lu Bu" philosophy to a new dark level 😂
Why don’t we get the demo for this game for the Xbox?
That was fun. Also, who counted the deaths?

The English Dub for Origin is good compared to DW9. I hope it stays good in the final product.
damn that opening tho!!😱
God I wish we didn’t have to wait so long for the game.
Are you having fun?
🔥

Origins
Goddamn lu bu is a monster again 😊
Fight with This New Lu Bu it is a hell of a fight
Would like for the total war three kingdoms on ps5 tho.

@@derpylink6639 Shut up. You have shit taste.
Such a shit take don't know where to begin. Why dont you go duke it out with people saying this is literally DW9?
