@@LightyTheNube I would hope that armor customization is at least a thing considering we get the Wo Long outfit as a Pre-Order benefit. Maybe depending on certain paths we take in the story, we can get special kinds of armor.
Agreed! It really feels like this game is for people who feel they needed to change things up/felt burnt out with the same formula for 8 straight games
DW2 was my first and I played each sequel through to DW 6, at which point the formula started to feel a little stale. The demo really reignited my love for the franchise, can't wait to play on release. The three kingdoms TW was seriously underrated btw. Great video mate, easy sub 👍
Big same and huge thanks! Yeah I have had my moments throughout my few years of content creation where I get like things were too stale for me to really keep going with the content. Soon as this game hit it sparked new excitement for me!
lmao, my brother in Christ you just told on yourself. These games aren't _stale_ they are the same game. Thats what makes them great. Why are you cheering for a game that provides less content than any warriors title since its start as a 3d field fighter on the PS2? Go down the list for me bro.
@@walterk2598Don’t understand why you’re so heated? Always people can like and cheer for whatever they want? It’s a different approach that lures in new fans and burnt out fans. If you don’t like it that’s fine. It’s not that deep. For some these games can be stale. It’s okay for people to feel that way. I love them too but you don’t have to defend them so hard.
IM SO READY!!!!! I been folwling it for a while and the demo RESALLY made me love it! I miss blocking on horse but other then that the voices are great! The combat was amazing and the strategies. Also love the dodging and countering it’s so very much needed and I love the difficulty it’s awesome! Not to mention the dueling it’s awesome!!!!
I’ve been playing DW since the very first game. Of course, it was a fighter and not a hack and slash. I’ve also played the Dynasty Tactics and Kessen series. I must say that this is going in the right direction for the series. I’ve replayed the demo several times and cannot wait for full game.
The only issue i have is that, there all different titles. Been playing these games before i could walk, I'm not interested in a game that offers a buffet less of content for some cloned From Soft graphics. This is exactly why they brought DW 8 to steam and overcharged it. If i wanted to play souls, id just boot up souls..
Outside of the gameplay for Hu Lao gate, Ima try not to spoil myself too much. Gonna wait till this game comes out then i'll see what it has to offer! 😆
the only thing I wish would happen from my experience with the demo is that I wish that starting the large battle off at the end caused every allied force waiting to charge in together all at once, rather than us the player having to head to one side to trigger Sun Jian and then to the other to trigger Liu Bei to get everyone involved in the final battle. I also think that'd not only be better from a gameplay perspective but also a visual perspective to have even more people coming in at once
Hypotheticals in Dynasty Warriors have always been amazing. Those were actually the highlights of Dynasty Warriors 9 (despite the fact they were all DLCS) and have been staples since Dynasty Warriors 3 (albeit, they've been expanded on in titles like DW4 and DW8).
To me, this game has elements that CAN appeal to some warriors fans but as you said it’s just to pull in new fans and pull back in old burnt out fans. I saw myself from so many different videos and streams of content creators and journalists big and small. Most of them said that this series just wasn’t for them, it was for Dynasty Warriors fans always (which is perfectly okay) but it didn’t have the elements that make the games as popular and successful as other games. We come to this game though and those same people blew up with positivity for this new game while the Warriors fandom is split. It goes to show, this game is meant mostly for THEM. Of course it’s going to have different directions on how this game goes. It’s supposed to bring NEW people in that didn’t like the usual formula that DW originally had. The pacing, combat, story telling and even just playing with one character that has support characters. These are all things that popular single player games have. Now that Origins did that, it’s getting a much more positive reception from those content creators and journalists. It will let people have a character (The Wanderer) to the new fans who is recognizable for them and will have his own arc and obstacles, hence why character creation wouldn’t really make sense in this regard. Customization at least would’ve been nice for him but maybe they just want that one type of look that makes him recognizable and memorable like other popular video game characters. That’s my take at least. I’m happy to see this new direction and seeing the fan base may expand which will allow more people to witness the Romance of the Theee Kingdoms! I’m excited for this game!
its really more to fill the slots in the missing console line up. It looks like a From Soft game then splices in some of the series elements without it exactly being that. But you nailed it, its a old game torn apart for a new-gen consoles. Offering less than what it traditionally is supposed to just to " look great " and then forgotten about in a few weeks.
Awesome stuff my friend! Glad the overall thoughts so far is positive, with so many other negative reviews on the platform it's nice to see that crucial creators like yourself agree that the game (has its flaws for sure) is a good start for something a little different than what we are used to! To me it's still a DW game & has been quite enjoyable to play, is it the best DW game imo? No, but that doesnt take away from the exciting new way to enjoy our favorite series. Nice work my friend!
Appreciate it friend! Yeah from what I’ve seen outside of the usual fans which is definitely mixed, looking at new people, I’ve seen so much positive feedback! Makes me happy this story is getting more fans with another new series with gameplay that can enjoy! I’m hyped to get this for sure! Just feels likes a massive breath of fresh air for me!
I feel like that the story might sound short, but there's probably going to be a lot of things to do in this game. At least it's not like Wo Long where it ends as soon as you fight Yuan Shao and the evil taoist with DLC taking place inbetween events and not after the main story.
My uncle didn't know that the demo came out, but I can't wait to hear what he says he got me into dw starting with 3. Now I played it all my uncle gave me his dwxl 5 for my 15th birthday and I still have it I'm 30 years old now still playing it and have fun with both dw 5/ 5xl.
To me this doesn’t really feel like a deviation from the series, just feels like they’ve expanded on previous features and added new combat mechanics while finding a new way to tell the story which is Exactly what they’ve always done! That’s why I’ve loved it for so long! I can’t wait for this to drop!!
Do you think they will ever bring back Musou mode for each character? I really enjoyed back in DW3 when you could play a full story mode with each character and then unlock a new character to start another story mode after that. Really wish they’d bring that back.
We are forced to play as 1 characters and the other characters are just treated like a side kick? I'm sorry but I love playing any character I want, it's just my opinion but I don't like this kind of thing they did with the game not to mention it's not having all of the pervious content and characters too so yeah it's just like sw5 just a quick idea
Nah I totally understand and respect that! As I’ve said I just think with all these major changes, it ain’t trying to appeal to us long time fans of the Warriors series, moreso grab new people in with a totally take of the series so everyone can enjoy the story of the Three Kingdoms in their own preferred way!
Yeah, This is why I’m passing on this one. EVERY character I liked is non existent, and Diao Chan is just an enemy. 🫠 Bit sad but this will be the only DW I will be skipping.
Really excited for this. New to the Musuo genre. Played a lot of Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and currently play Age of Calamity. Demo was very confusing. There is a lot going on. Not sure if I should stop playing Age Of Calamity and really get into DW 8 XL before Origins drops. Any tips? Thank you in advance
I agree with all your points but I would really like them to experiment with a Rougelike Mode similar to Hades (with Orochi's pantheon) in the new installments of Warrior games...
I wonder if some of these what-ifs will depend on our relationships with the characters and such. Like for example if we befriend Guo Jia he will survive, if you befriend Diaochan she stays by your side joining one of the three kingdoms. Things like that
DQ9 was change and it was bad. DQ origins is better. The only thing I don't like is the small roster. A legends mode where you can play as the classic characters, maybe 40 of them at least and play through the classic story from their perspective. It would probably be a whole expansion.
i do like the duel system and they actually make enemy general harder to deal with not just the old style spam heavy heavy musou , we actually have to time the attack and dodge , even in lowest difficulty it still very challenging , like combine a bit of wo long and dynasty in one game
I gonna say the same thing i tolded sword and chris. Combat is definitly better then the DW9. English voice acting is definitly on the good side of thing especially with Kyle Hebert (Sima Yi former VA) voicing Lu Bu :D
Theres a high chance they might add lu bus weapon as a DLC From what ive seen from Demos that is only avail on the local I see lu bu doing a war god musuo Ya know thr musuo that clears 1000 units
A nameless hero and we can’t create our own is a massive L but that won’t stop me from supporting DW even if my boy Gan Ning isn’t here. I hope for its success!
The demo is indeed impressive, however, I'm worried if the game itself will fall short or have a deficiency of features, content and game modes, it needs split-screen co-op (call me old-fashioned) and online co-op too, some sort of PvP would be nice too, it needs something to keep people playing, and no, I'm not talking about stup!d monetization, or battle passes, I'm talking about online features and modes to extend the life of the game. My biggest example would be FromSoftware games, in this case Armored Core 6, the game has very few single player content and a "half-assed" online PvP mode, but people keep playing even after a full year after release, because as simple as the online features are, the core gameplay is so good that people keep coming back, and absolutely ZERO micro transactions NOR battle passes, Dynasty Warriors could follow this same path.
Overall, I'm pretty optimistic and hyped with the changes made in this game. Unlike Dynasty Warriors 9 and Samurai Warriors 5, this actually feels like a step in the right direction and a proper overhaul that has the ability to push the series to new heights. It looks like a genuinely good foundation for the series. By far the biggest complaints to me are the fact that the majority of the main cast aren't playable and the lack of weapon variety. Those are massive drawbacks for me. However, if an expansion to this game makes more characters playable and introduces more weapon types then I'd be fully satisfied. So yeah in general, I hope Omega Force uses this as a foundation to tell the rest of the story in parts 2 and 3 later down the road.
Yeah I know that’s a huge thing for people with the multiple characters and would’ve been cool to at least have some more! Hopefully in the future fans can have a game that could feel like this but with the ability to play as their fave characters!
@ I agree. I think getting the fundamentals around gameplay are most important and that seems to be what this game is focusing on, which is good. I can live with the limited character roster if it means other aspects thrive. But at the same time nothing about playing as some random wanderer dude really excites me. So I do hope they keep this in mind for any expansions or future games. The character roster has always been a huge source of appeal for this series for most people, and I hope they keep that in mind as they refine and expand on the foundation they are building here in this game.
I loved it! I have invested many hours so far in the demo, which says a lot! But jeep in mind, I’m “due hard” fan as I dud play every single game in the series, except the nintendo version - as that did not set well with me!
The Devs confirmed it during the interview that you will be stuck with that character for the entire game. Also like the previous DW, the main character alternate color on his outfit will be locked behind cosmetic payment
Im not sure i like the martial arts. They worked in wo long cuz its a different type of game but in this when you dont use them it feels like you arent doing anything to the enemy officer and i hate how the officers can hyper armor outta our attacks. If we could animation cancel the attack into a dodge or parry itd feel a lot better but i just found myself getting frustrated being hit mid attack cuz they decided they didnt wanna get staggered anymore
Im more concerned with the Empires version. Personally i would love them to add some rpg elements where you start as a lowly peon and have to prove yourself and work your way up the ranks. Like the old MMO did. Thats what ive always wanted with DW. But i do like the idea of a more solo focused story driven game. And its nice to see peons that actually fight and not just run around like idiots.
I'm one of those fans that never complained about the dw games I loved everything about them never had one issue with them thought every new entry was better then the previous except 9 saw all the reviews so didn't bother with 9 I love the gameplay loop with these games never wanted them to change
I really loved the gameplay and I’m glad Dynasty Warriors seems to be attracting new people with this title. HOWEVER, I hope they don’t abandon people like me and still allow us to play as the actual characters in future games. I think this could have been a near perfect Dynasty Warriors for me if I could play as the other characters and not “the wanderer”. Hope they keep innovating in this direction though
Yeah Idk to me (and I could be giving too much credit) I feel Origins will be for this new fan base, maybe down the line they give like a DW10 and can make it to where it’s meant for the usual fan base too! Make it a best of both worlds for both parties!
@@LightyTheNube For me, the easiest summation for this one is another 6'ing. 6 was probably the biggest change to the general feel of the game since 3. We of course went back afterward thanks to fan reaction, but it is what it is. The blow is softened with nearly everything ever presented in Empires modes, etc, being present here. Having tactics you can use as you want really makes the fight feel far more alive
I think it was a stupid choice not having all the generals we know and love as fully playable. Now i hear we wont have all the battles. Cut more out of the game i feel. Im going to get the game but im really unhappy. Why would i wanna play as a nobody the whole game.
The game fit 70 battles before Chi Bi. That means that there's more battles here in a smaller time span that previous DW skipped over or barely touched. The biggest downside of having 80 characters is cloned moveset. Let them build up the combat by expanding the weapons first before adding everyone. Its lame if we have 80+ characters sharing 8-9 weapons even though those weapons have a way better moveset compared to the older DW games.
I think the Warrior games have a identity crisis. they trying to start a reboot but at the same time they not dare to make a serious new beginning. And this we got this weird mix of cut out character and story events while keeping some of the same issues to not move away too much. Hence I think we saw the first sign of it with Fire Emblem 3 houses warrior. They made some quite good improvements to the battle system... While removing any charakter of other games and any sidemode...
@itzAntGaming Yeah some people on Steam say it's a problem with the demo. Sometimes the controller works and then disconnects randomly. For me, it never worked.
I wonder if we choose the nameless hero's gender, or if they're just locked in as a guy Sun Shangxiang being the only female character is super lame, I'm gonna miss my girl Lu Lingqi for sure But the combat does look super fun and a lot my more dynamic / skill-oriented than previous games, especially with the addition of parries and perfect dodges ✨
1_ enemy soldiers now feel more useful in making you busy in battle. 2_it brought in the duel mechanics and target lock. *Something I miss from DW 2&3* 😢 👇 Do you remember when enemy commander used strong attack or charge your guard would break, leaving you with 1 second proneness to incoming attacks and push backs, I loved that, you would feel the strength of the enemy commanders, the animation was nice too, so generals like Guan Yu, LuBu would always break your guard with their third normal hit, this forced you to plan a strategy, you would sneak up to them from back while they were fighting other commanders, gave the combat some depth at least, if you played it you remember.
So. No controller layout options eh? No R1 (Normal), R2(Heavy) attacks? You're stuck with Square and Triangle or whatever buttons for normal and heavy attacks. Pity.
I love the game but it’s so damn hard! Be careful what you ask for they said I hope I get the hang of it I played in hard mode first then the middle difficulty and still can’t defeat Lu Bu 😅😭 now I’m going to go into baby mode
Not that I’ve seen but keep an eye out for other content creator Jerz and NightOwl cuz I’m pretty sure one of them is going to answer as many questions as they are allowed to answer!
I do worry that in chasing the profit dragon of new players Koei might alienate their built in player base. I’ve picked up every warriors title since DW3 but after 9 I am a lot more cautious. Origins looks like an improvement but the limited roster, cloned move sets and reduced scope stop me from getting my hopes high. I am happy for those in the community that are enthusiastic. I do plan on picking it up but won’t be a day one purchase for me from what I’ve seen.
I've always loved dynasty warriors but 9 really didn't resonate with me and it just didn't "feel" right. Origins feels like the game 9 should have been. I love the changes in combat and the restart mechanic etc - I was really nervous when I first heard about this but playing the demo has really brought home that feeling I used to get from the older games and I can confidently say that DYNASTY WARRIORS IS BACK BABY
We have pretty much the same sentiment, this is the breath of fresh air I was hoping for with the next DW game. Especially after Wo Long. Maybe though we can get an XL version where we can play a female wanderer? DW4 is my favorite in the seried and I'm glad to see Duels back and the Gems are 100% the same orb system.
Yeah just feels nice to have something different for once with this series I’m hyped! And yeah that sounds like it’d be nice to have a female protagonist too for another version or expansion!
I hate L3 mapping..i keep making my horse interupt my fights every intense battle, every couple of seconds..😅 i also chose historian, thinking it was normal, and had NO idea where to go..

Is the character they use for the promo material loosely based on someone? Probably, but really neither here nor there. The issue is for all that they are leaving out of the game its becoming a bit too souls like for many. And it makes a twisted kind of sense - there's no way you can cram all of that into a feasible souls-like title. Id just rather play a Souls-Like game instead.
The only big bummer for me is that there is no character customization. it really is a missed opportunity and shouldve been a no brainer to implement it tbh
Hopefully there is at least aesthetic customization where we can change the Wanderer's outfit.
Same I get wanting to have a character with a single design to make him a recognizable figure but some options still would be great
@@LightyTheNube I would hope that armor customization is at least a thing considering we get the Wo Long outfit as a Pre-Order benefit. Maybe depending on certain paths we take in the story, we can get special kinds of armor.
Yeah, I don't really get why they couldn't implement a simpler CaW for the main character. Especially since he's referred to as "wanderer".
@@Zathurious It's not like it would be hard either. They have the CAW implementation from Wo Long and Nioh 2. They used Nioh 2 for DWE9.
I'm down for the changes. After nine, this series needs a shake-up.
Agreed! It really feels like this game is for people who feel they needed to change things up/felt burnt out with the same formula for 8 straight games
Only 10 playable characters major bummer i always play zhenji or diaochan
😅
That's what I've been saying so I hope DW10 will have all the stuff from DWO but actually allow us to play all the major characters permanently again
I feel you, for me it’s always one of the Qiao’s 😞
No caw was a massive missed opportunity
@@walterk2598 I really don't understand what you're saying or who your saying it to but I sincerely hope you cheer up soon
@walterk2598 you seem to be in a bad mood hope you feel better soon buddy
I also think that'd not only be better from a gameplay perspective but also a visual perspective to have even more people coming in at once
lmao, this is a problem indeed.
They do come in on their own. They are ambushing, that's why they come in a little later.
@@kwlkid38 You could wait for the ambush or just come with the ambush. the do start charging on theuir own even if you are not present
Hypotheticals in Dynasty Warriors have always been amazing. Those were actually the highlights of Dynasty Warriors 9 (despite the fact they were all DLCS) and have been staples since Dynasty Warriors 3 (albeit, they've been expanded on in titles like DW4 and DW8).
dynasty warriors always focused on quantity over quality, origins seems to be focusing on quality for once and thats very good for the series
Quality> quantity
I was not expecting this game to be sooo good and how hard it was first time ive been so exited for a Dynasty Warriors since Strike Force
I feel like that the story might sound short, but there's probably going to be a lot of things to do in this game. At least it's not like Wo Long where it ends as soon as you fight Yuan Shao and the evil taoist with DLC taking place inbetween events and not after the main story.
I love the character designs in DW Origins!
Ready for January ❤️🔥
We are forced to play as 1 characters and the other characters are just treated like a side kick? I'm sorry but I love playing any character I want, it's just my opinion but I don't like this kind of thing they did with the game not to mention it's not having all of the pervious content and characters too so yeah it's just like sw5 just a quick idea
Nah I totally understand and respect that! As I’ve said I just think with all these major changes, it ain’t trying to appeal to us long time fans of the Warriors series, moreso grab new people in with a totally take of the series so everyone can enjoy the story of the Three Kingdoms in their own preferred way!
dynasty warriors always focused on quantity over quality, origins seems to be focusing on quality for once and thats very good for the series
Yeah, This is why I’m passing on this one. EVERY character I liked is non existent, and Diao Chan is just an enemy. 🫠 Bit sad but this will be the only DW I will be skipping.
@xchocome9629 thats sad because it seems to be the best in the series
Really excited for this. New to the Musuo genre. Played a lot of Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and currently play Age of Calamity. Demo was very confusing. There is a lot going on. Not sure if I should stop playing Age Of Calamity and really get into DW 8 XL before Origins drops. Any tips? Thank you in advance
I’m excited after playing the demo. I would love an empires game with battles like this
Can't wait for the game, I played the demo just on normal mode I was at 1% of health and there is Lu bu ready to kick my butt 😅
I'm glad they are doing something different, 9 and 9 empires were really bad and stale, cannot wait for this one
I'm really looking forward to getting this game!
Things like that
That’d be cool! Gives more reason to actually interact with the characters if so!
I'm still hoping for an Empires version. But first, we're going to need the second half of the story. Any word about that? Or is it too soon?
Definitely too soon in my opinion lol, let’s see how this first game plays out
I gonna say the same thing i tolded sword and chris. Combat is definitly better then the DW9. English voice acting is definitly on the good side of thing especially with Kyle Hebert (Sima Yi former VA) voicing Lu Bu :D
Theres a high chance they might add lu bus weapon as a DLC
From what ive seen from Demos that is only avail on the local
I see lu bu doing a war god musuo
Ya know thr musuo that clears 1000 units
I need to see him clearing 1000 enemies with an attack like that I’d love it lol
The demo is fun. I hope a Samurai Warriors game is in the pipeline though.
I'm curious to see what moveset in general is gonna be the best, and... do we know at this point what weapon Guo Jia uses?
Diaochan beauty is out of this world ..just like always
A nameless hero and we can’t create our own is a massive L but that won’t stop me from supporting DW even if my boy Gan Ning isn’t here. I hope for its success!
The demo was interesting i am curious if they will do more
I don't get why they didn't let us create our own character since the wanderer is basically nobody
My biggest example would be FromSoftware games, in this case Armored Core 6, the game has very few single player content and a "half-assed" online PvP mode, but people keep playing even after a full year after release, because as simple as the online features are, the core gameplay is so good that people keep coming back, and absolutely ZERO micro transactions NOR battle passes, Dynasty Warriors could follow this same path.
honestly? periodt
Aww bummer i really miss the free mode wish they would implement in the game😢
I loved it!
I have invested many hours so far in the demo, which says a lot!
But jeep in mind, I’m “due hard” fan as I dud play every single game in the series, except the nintendo version - as that did not set well with me!
Is Origins a reboot of the series or a standalone? I hope we get a DW10 😢
It's funny how dynasty warriors has and origin. It's been doing the same thing for 20yrs. It even has the origin stories IN the old games.
Is there any truth that we can not customize? Or are we only speaking about the demo?
The Devs confirmed it during the interview that you will be stuck with that character for the entire game. Also like the previous DW, the main character alternate color on his outfit will be locked behind cosmetic payment
@ no with all the outfits from the past games. Maybe they will patch them in. I just hope it does well so we can get more and different point of views
I never played dw before and I loved this demo
It was a lot of fun to me as a long time fan too! Happy to know you loved it!
It’s gonna be hard game
I’m here for it honestly lol
If no character customisation, atleast KT should have an empires version of this
Looks Good
I'm one of those fans that never complained about the dw games I loved everything about them never had one issue with them thought every new entry was better then the previous except 9 saw all the reviews so didn't bother with 9 I love the gameplay loop with these games never wanted them to change
So excited for Diao Chan, this could be her best portrayal yet. But giving her a long sword is atrocious! 😭
I thought at least throwing knives or the wheels if she wasn’t going to have her own weapon so the sword thing threw me off too lol
I'd have prefer if there was character customization options at the very least, if we're force to control just one main character.
Agreed even if we can’t customize the dude himself with facial features, at the very least could’ve given us outfit options
Just wait for OXL
I love this game! It’s hard but imma get better😂😂
I just want to create or at least customize the protagonist. If it have that then koei can take money
Was hoping to use Sun Ce 😪 or at least try LU BU 😭
I think the Warrior games have a identity crisis. they trying to start a reboot but at the same time they not dare to make a serious new beginning. And this we got this weird mix of cut out character and story events while keeping some of the same issues to not move away too much.
Hence I think we saw the first sign of it with Fire Emblem 3 houses warrior. They made some quite good improvements to the battle system... While removing any charakter of other games and any sidemode...
No co-op and no free mode is a bit disappointing hopefully all the new features make up for it.
Unfortunately controller doesn't work on pc version, xbox and Playstation controllers tried all not working.
That's weird because it worked for me. I used my Xbox 360 controller plugged into USB.
i used my ol PS3 controller with DSHMC and it worked just fine
@itzAntGaming Yeah some people on Steam say it's a problem with the demo. Sometimes the controller works and then disconnects randomly. For me, it never worked.
@@cypher0x089 Oh I see. Hopefully they fix this issue upon release because it's a must play with a controller.
I wonder if we choose the nameless hero's gender, or if they're just locked in as a guy
Sun Shangxiang being the only female character is super lame, I'm gonna miss my girl Lu Lingqi for sure
But the combat does look super fun and a lot my more dynamic / skill-oriented than previous games, especially with the addition of parries and perfect dodges ✨
1_ enemy soldiers now feel more useful in making you busy in battle.
2_it brought in the duel mechanics and target lock.
*Something I miss from DW 2&3* 😢 👇
Do you remember when enemy commander used strong attack or charge your guard would break, leaving you with 1 second proneness to incoming attacks and push backs, I loved that, you would feel the strength of the enemy commanders, the animation was nice too, so generals like Guan Yu, LuBu would always break your guard with their third normal hit, this forced you to plan a strategy, you would sneak up to them from back while they were fighting other commanders, gave the combat some depth at least, if you played it you remember.
Multi they have not yet made a solid Multi player game to do that with dw franchise would be the nail
Soooo hyyyype 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
if they took game and made an empire version. i play it. beating lu bu was fun.
So. No controller layout options eh? No R1 (Normal), R2(Heavy) attacks? You're stuck with Square and Triangle or whatever buttons for normal and heavy attacks. Pity.
R1, R2 and Circle in a Musou game feels weird as hell.
@@earlbernabe1470 Wasn't aware. I just prefer R1 and R2 for Light/normal and Heavy attacks.
I love the game but it’s so damn hard! Be careful what you ask for they said I hope I get the hang of it
I played in hard mode first then the middle difficulty and still can’t defeat Lu Bu 😅😭 now I’m going to go into baby mode
LOL it’ll take time but I believe in ya! Took me a couple tries to get the hang of it too!
Any word on a potential free mode?
Alright I am really mad that Sun Ce ain´t playable, he is my favorite character =(
Was SHOCKED to found out he wasn’t playable honestly
I've always loved dynasty warriors but 9 really didn't resonate with me and it just didn't "feel" right. Origins feels like the game 9 should have been. I love the changes in combat and the restart mechanic etc - I was really nervous when I first heard about this but playing the demo has really brought home that feeling I used to get from the older games and I can confidently say that DYNASTY WARRIORS IS BACK BABY
Yeah I definitely feel the same way with some of this! It feels so weird how different it is but for me it’s very welcomed and I’m very hyped!
Would be nice to see a 4 player co-op but the difficulty is automatically set to hard.
Only way I be getting this game is if it has a free mode that allows you to play with other character with no restrictions..
I'm happy that this is not just *another Musou game*
We have pretty much the same sentiment, this is the breath of fresh air I was hoping for with the next DW game. Especially after Wo Long. Maybe though we can get an XL version where we can play a female wanderer?
DW4 is my favorite in the seried and I'm glad to see Duels back and the Gems are 100% the same orb system.
Yeah just feels nice to have something different for once with this series I’m hyped! And yeah that sounds like it’d be nice to have a female protagonist too for another version or expansion!
they should at least make it so you can change the wanderer's sex
As long as it doesn't have 6's terrible battle system, the only one I've never completed 😊
Dw9 and 9 empires was not meant for the fans either. They turned on the fans
Animes now have no health bar
I hate L3 mapping..i keep making my horse interupt my fights every intense battle, every couple of seconds..😅 i also chose historian, thinking it was normal, and had NO idea where to go..
Why does our bro sound like Ling Tong!!! 🔥
ME?!
For me there are not enough normal enemy like in the old ones, to much 1v1 with commanders.
I just bought samurai warriors 4 dx on steam😅
The combat looks really nuce, but being forced to play as Ran Do is a peculiar choice.
But....ive always played as Lu Bu🥲
As someone who hasn't played a DW gane in over a decade i was thoroughly surprised by this demo, im not sure i like the single protagonist
Idk about you but the officers on your side keeps dying fast ! Especially the main leader that guy can’t last long …
❤️dw for life
