I have 2 one in 7mm and one in 6.5 Creedmoor both will shoot 1/2 groups. Break the barrel in as directed and find the right load and you'll have an excellent rifle for years to come.
Thank you for this comment.! I have had a hard time finding anybody with one of these rifles in 7mm.! If you can find the time what factory loads have you had success with thank you!
Pulled the trigger on same rifle and caliber. It shoots factory Fed premium 150 gr ballistic tips stupid accurate even before break in process is complete. Worth every single penny!
I keep going between thing and the ridge. I love the look of the mesa in the green and tan but feel the Bergara may be a better gun and less expensive. The mesa does have the advantage being slightly lighter
I have three Mesa rifles now, a 6.5 creedmoor that has shot any bullet I have ever tried at 1/2” or better. A 308 win that shoots everything around 3/4”-1” and killed an elk last fall, and just found a used 300 win mag that looked unused but dusty, just loaded 180 accubonds for it and it shot a .28” group with them. I love the trigger tech triggers on these guns.
@@jvengence I have shot the gun WAY more off of a sled than on a sled. This is for sight in. Without the sled, the kick is reduce I would guess about 30% over not having it.

Rifles and handguns are weighed in Troy ounces. 12 oz not 16oz to a pound. Therefore it’s only 1 oz from being a full pound heavier. Add bullets and you over seven pounds. 84 oz.
He’s just working the bolt easy so it doesn’t throw his brass. He’s saving his brass to reload. He’s not working the bolt as if he’s needing a follow up shot in the field.
Nothing wrong with doing your initial sight-in with a sled. You're getting the best performance by removing the obstacle of human error. Sight in with a sled, and then continue to practice without one.
Hi Brian Martin. Do you sight in your gun with sand bags? Well guess what, you cannot pack a sand bag in the field. Do you use a table? Go to the gun range? well all those things also cannot be taken to the field. Not a good argument to not using a sled to get it sighted in first.

How does Christensen compare to actions like defiance, impact, and bighorn
Not a that level for sure.

Does the eject round not work because you had to grab casings out after shooting
It worked great, I just pulled back lightly and grabbed the case. Lots of dirt and I did not want the case falling in it.
I have since shot the gun 30 or 40 more times. I am shooting about 1/2 MOA. AWESOME ACCURACY
iReviewGear great review! Are you hand loading? I’m looking at this rifle in 300 win mag, but I don’t hand load.
Boxer Dog yes, I reload. however I got great results with factory ammo. Hornady Hunter
What is your ring height?
@@TheAcfallejoseph sorry I did not see this. I am using Low bases.
How many times can you shot it before it gets super hot ?
6 or 7

Just got the same thing but in left hand. Was the action on your rifle ever stiff?
No it was not stiff at all.
Damn, mine is stiff when I will lift the bolt up to open
@@anthonyopgenorth925 dang! Yeah I just checked mine again. I would never call it stiff...dang it.

Nice looking rifle, but I noticed with Mesa, guys always have to dig in for the empty shell.
look how he's opening the bolt dude. throw that bitch like you would in the field and you'll be launching spent shells lol
They have dual ejectors on the magnums you just have to run the bolt a little harder and they work fantastically
