Just got done doing a 55 myself I cut it down on the lathe get my port work we got pretty close to the same numbers her mind kind of think the sameway after my late work my exhaust was at 106 I did go ahead and lower it to 103 my intake is at 77 also at my transfers 125

I can’t cut the base, so I have try a different option. Usually base gasket delete first.

Nice, your porting numbers are so different from eg ironhorse, like you leave the exhaust at was it 150 and I think he would go closer to 160 but prob not over 150 on intake and you have 155, hope its gonna be a ripper. i might have to epoxy my transfers aswell because they are very abrupt. Hope the 55 will be a ripper!!and give the compression numbers when its assembled

Hi. I want to install Husqvarna 55 cylinder on Husqvarna 50. Is the 55 cylinder suitable? Should it be converted?

You can use a 029 super or ms290 new style 46mm piston and cut the top with a .025-.030 popup. Might have to epoxy the intake floor I don't remember.
