    As a relatively new player, this was extraordinarily helpful. The way you explained the infantry tactics with specific examples from a real game was perfect. Thank you so much.

    Whenever someone teaches you with a video of a match that they lost in, theres a very high chance they know their shit. Great content!

    Really appreciate these guides on SD2. Bought the game during lunar sale and came from SD44. Your vidoes help me adjust faster

    At 3:00, I want to add that you can change the formation by holding right click and dragging. The further you drag, the more spread the lines will become. If you right click and drag those four you can get anything from a square, to three in the front one in the back, to all four in a line. Alternatively, dragging the mouse the other way lets you line them up vertically. May or may not be useful for people but it still should be stated.

    Great video! Also yes those little 50mm mortars are freaking insane, quick smokes when needed, loads of ammo, quick targeting and of course dirt cheap!! It's a great addition to any deck in my opinion and should always have one near your masses of infantry for support

      Very strong, but they are quite micro intensive, otherwise they don’t do anything haha

    Been playing for a while and never realized how detrimental it was to give ALL my units the same attack order. Move in no more than pairs when possible, got it. Thx

      Yeah you gotta be careful with the way they bunch up and move

    The problem with this game is that it is too big, it does not explain itself very well, and you basically have to have read about WWII combined arms tactics including 'why did unit x fail in these circumstances' to understand what some problems might be because coming from Eugen's Cold War era simulators I only realized after reading about the Eastern Front how and why I was playing it wrong. Namely in that a post-1960 era unit will not have crippling overspecialization, a lot more mobility and firepower than a pre-1960 unit. By contrast reading about how deficiencies in motor transport and equipment in 1942 plagued the Red Army I could understand what I was doing wrong with infantry combinations. It is still difficult but I find myself more sure what to do.

      There is a lot to learn, but the game is amazing not gonna lie. Nothing like it on the market

    kind of somewhat related unrelated question. in army general you get mot. avtomatchiki, which are basically avtomatchiki with an mg. since the mg got me in trouble multiple times already when i wanted to charge a position, should i just deactivate it outright?

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I often will deactivate rifles or something on a cqc squad if they output so little damage it doesnt make a difference

    I did not need too much example but let’s me understand better overall I train infantry micro in sd44 because sd44 is more infantry focus and more strategic game

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah there is definitely a factor of spamming infantry a bit in this game

    how do you use TNT? do you actually have to select it or do troops use it automatically?

    • @atkpwrgaming

      It will automatically throw it once you are in 100m

    I'd have loved an explanation on how to surrender a unit.

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Once a unit is fully supressed and it says pinned, walk up with your unit and it will surrender as long as the enemy doesnt have an unsupressed unit nearby or a leader in range
