This video has been the most impressive and educational on using VueScan software, as we all know sometimes we don't have enough time to meter correctly and we end with images like this, I'm a photography student at OCC ( Orange Coast College ) in Costa Mesa California, I got introduced to film ( analog ) two years ago and I felled in love with it, I started with 35mm film but now I'm enjoying 120mm film, I do the wet mounting process to get better high quality results, but for sure I'm going to use your method to rescue some of my images, Thank you very much.

Thanks for a very thoughtful tutorial. I’ve used Vuescan with my V700 for 10+ years, but have never been able to wrangle these to scan BW negs in a way I felt I could control. Your back-to-basics approach is something I do appreciate, and I will now adapt my workflow to use your ideas. 👍

VueScan is a very nice program, but due to the new policy if you buy the full you have to pay each year..
