Everyone compares taekwon-do with the WTF but the Real and original is the ITF is quite similar to Karate since General Choi was a karate-do black belt and with that he created taekwon-do

@@shadow_samurai2053 Taekwondo is just a Korean man’s take on karate. Japanese guys and Koreans both went to China to learn their arts. They brought their arts home and started teaching their people. Korean karate is taekowndo and a different style of karate but similar. Japanese = Kata Korean= poomsae English=Form.. all the same meaning..
American Kenpo is Ed Parkers take on karate. Shindenkai is from Germany. Yet every style originates from China.

Likewise, the TKD ITF is more brutal and tough than the WTF since it only focuses on competition and the ITF on personal defense, that's why there are skills with the arms .In addition, Taekwon-do itf was inspired by karate and another Korean martial art

Naw Fam. The Real of the Story.
Don't waste your time and money with Taekwondo.
Go learn BBJ and Muay Thai or Kyokushin. If you really want to learn how to properly fight.
Btw I'm Korean. I did Taekwondo for 1 year. Because my mom is a nationalist.
      Utter fucking waste of money.
The Kwanjang only teaches 3 moves per belt, and the prices of the belts go up. Like Yellow belt is $50 and Orange belt is $75, etc.
You'll be about $3k or more in with nothing really learned.
And they hardly spar. Fuck kind of combat sports is that?!
While Muay Thai, just pay your gym dues. The trainer will teach you fucking anything you want. I was in ring sparring within 3 months and fighting my first amateur fight by 6.
And same goes for Kyokushin. My best friend is a Kyokushin Practitioner. His sensei taught him whatever the fuck he wanted at FUCKING white belt, his wheel kicks are outstanding because got to practice it since the day he learned in White Belt, and he got to fight in a tournament at Yellow belt. Unlike the snake oil that is TKD.
It's sad how my country's Martial Art went from ancient combat arts that actually protected our country to decorative dogshit.

Umm karate was the guy knocket out
Teakwondo did back spin kick and full back spin kick and side kick. Plus, when u see him punch it use straight punch the only known punch for teakwondo. Extra detail teawondo know for more kicking so when they on fighting stand they put they arm down witch u see often from the guy who won. (U see this kick use in alot in Kickboxing match or UFC finishing move)
Karate kinda look close to teakwondo however the kick are more like a slap and more of kick that straight. They do have spin kick but the one the guy who tdid the spin kick was doing a one that spin with his body where kartea more with his lag. Kartae is known for punch. Karate is great when you wanna pin someone down however not great when you trying to knock them out

    • @misskittykitty3497
      @misskittykitty3497 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Well i think to be honest they did mostly basic move and they where in rush i cannot tell 100 %
For this detail A is the guy for knock the guy out B would be the guy who got knocked out
      To be honest
If the teakwondo guy did any famous double kick or triple kick or spin kick or jump kick would have made this easier but he did seem to use the most used kick by professional Back Kick (it the one he does 0:29 and 1:07) for the other guy he seem to be doing Front kick that doing kick foward motion and snaping back (NOTE: Teakowndo do have one but it does not snap back like his insted it goes foward and hops back) and no both do not junp that guy just being way to cocky for show.
The secound thing is a stands the B guy has his arm up ever time where the A guy dont. The Karate do not put there arm down because for a stand to blocks garb and punch however teakowndo do have a stand however most of the time they stay on there kick stand witch is just putting their arm down to quicker kick
That is thou most of them are very similar i mean at the end i could be wrong

karate rely on power no flashy kick just technicality that applicable to real fight and every kick is painful that why once this taekwondo practitioner received a kick in the face where they often get hit because that how they get point in taekwondo rules but a kick in a karate he wasnt used to it since speed doesnt equal power. karate put weight into that kick.

Taekwondo was originally for war, the same thing that happened to taekwondo happened to modern karate (Olympic karate and similar) styles made for point fighting)
Have you seen 1990 taekwondo footage? They were so strong the bags would touch the ceiling with each kick, I'm not saying Kyokushin isn't strong, i practice Kyokushin karate, I'm saying taekwondo wasn't once the thing it is today

You can identify them based on their fighting stances, strategies and their uniform. Kyokushin has a more squared stance and can transition their combos from punching to kicking and then back to punching. Taekwondo has a more bladed stance and throws more kicking combinations and rarely throw fists
