Commercial has me so hype about that radio. It’s so dope to see a legit product release/description video that isn’t random obscure and irrelevant details written in cryptic chinenglese. You can tell by the features Radiomaster highlights here that this was designed with the community and their desires in mind. I will be really interested to see how pinchers/hybrids like it. Just dumped $100 into my TX16S’s faceplate, leather, and CNC hardware (basically a custom MAX), and I’m planning on moving to AG01 gimbals in the coming months - I suspect that that’s going to be hard for me to walk away from. That said, of course the new hot shit comes out literally 2 days after I drop a chunk of cash on upgrades. That is basically how FPV has treated me for the last 6 years and yet still, here I am, crawling back, just dying to throw my money at it in hopes it’ll keep getting better. We bitch and moan about hypes and trains and laws and costs and dramas and tech. But really, we have the best hobby and the best community in the world. Thanks for taking us seriously and making such stellar products for us to better enjoy it, Radiomaster.
but why does it miss 2 x 18650 cells inside considering the huge amount of power hunger of the elrs 250mW module ? that is missing and the battery holder is no real solution it is more or less a fix of an issue that had been found out too late to change the case. I would have preferred a 18650 cell right under the backside of the display which should be the easiest way or longer grips that could house 18650 cells likse those samsung e35 with a 3500 mAh capacity or 7000 mAh in total instead of 1800 mAh. not that big challenge and a lot better to charge the cells all at once or having the option to add a 18650 in case needed. That would require a different additional spot for the neck strap holder but easy to achieve. I will not buy any Zorro till this will be fixed cause I know about the 250 mW consumption of elrs modules.
Wish I've knew it before... as I bought tbs radio controller, and then this advert pop up - exactly what I need ! The Radiomaster is looking hot with great features, slick design and ergonomics. I love it. Can not wait to purchase Radiomaster !

J'ai commandé cette radiocommande pour 92€ en jp4in1 sur banggood, qualité Radiomaster, grand écran, jp4in1, Open tx, et des gimbal Hall réglable sans démontage. Dur de faire mieux. Je ne l'ai pas encore reçu que je l'adore déjà. Seul reproche, qu'elle n'utilise pas des batteries 18650 (3a) un standard en radiocommande.
Yea.. wish he set up turning momentary button into switch though I'd still be afraid I'd accidentally hit disarm in flight trying to get to rocker (what I'd use for return to home)
Might just work for my first radio. ExpressLRS for that ultra long radio bubble in 900 mhz environments. Excellent, can't wait for my pre order. The only thing that is sucks is you could have stated batteries not included, now I have to wait on the back order
Every company can make a slick looking video, like this surely is, and make something look fantastic. The key is to wait until several prominent reviewers come out with reviews on this. Then, if it passes the mustard, it's ready to buy. Too many people are not patient enough the wait to see how it performs, and pre-order before the reviews hit. IMO, that's what people should never do, so they never end up disappointed and know everything about their purchase when they place their order. There's no point in being in a hurry when buying electronics. Not unless they have plenty of money to burn. 🤔 😎🤘

Looks promising. Just an idea: There's 0 precise game controllers on the market. If you would put you're hardware into an game controller and get it Microsoft Specified you could propably dominate that market.
Ok wait to clear up confision.. if u order the ELRS version do u still have a module bay to run crossfire? Or would u need 4in1 and use module bay for elrs and crossfire modules and swap as needed for drones?
What type of batteries are you using? I just received the zorro today, but I cannot use it, because two different sets of 18350 batteries are not fitting in the battery compartment! The length of the batteries is just 36.2 mm, but I cannot squeeze them in ... very annoying.
There isnt' a multimodule with ELRS. the options are the CC2500 module, the JP4in1 module or an ELRS module. Personally I'll just get the CC2500 version (cheapest) and put a 3rd party ELRS module on the back plate.
Welcome to FPV. Take it from someone who has spent the last 6 years and thousands on thousands of dollars buying things literally a week before *the next big thing* comes out: don’t bother trying to stay on top with only the best equipment. The hype train can’t be caught… That TLite is a great radio - trusted by many who know what they’re talking about. You treated yourself - now get on the sticks and enjoy it!
I'd try to cancel the order. Jumper makes mediocre quality gear. Their products ALWAYS have design flaws and issues or problems. I'll never buy Jumper, especially because the first time I bought a product from them, it smoked within 3 minutes of powering it on! Jumper products are not reliable. Don't think so? Why did Nick Burns T-lite burn out within a month of buying it? Another guy in this thread, said his just burned out, and it was also barely used. Others have reported the same thing. How about that full size radio, I can't remember the model, that had the faulty wiring inside?! All those were total crap! Junk! That's the reliability and quality. How about all of the stupid design choices they also make! Like using only one 18650 in the T-lite! Stupid! Crossfire struggles to even work with it. It won't at full power. Would you trust your expensive long range quads with that low of battery power from your radio? Not me! 😟 Then there's the flimsy module bay that you must put on yourself! Talk about wimpy! It looks like it would break off at will! The switches that are too close together! Etc, etc, etc... Jumper is cheap, just OK quality, with questionable design choices. It's just ok, low end gear. But nothing more. 😳😥 There's a place in the market for low end gear, for people with not much money. But, it's not something you buy if you want quality and reliability. 🤷🥱
I managed to cancel the order. I used to have a Jumper T16, had so many problems with it. The least of which were the dastardly ribbon cables to the switches. I managed to return the radio under warranty and bought the Radiomaster TX16S instead. Up until this product, the only compact style radio from Radiomaster was the T8 so resigned myself to getting the Jumper instead. But now I've managed to cancel the order and I've preordered this one instead :-)

Are we really in that much of a hurry to not wait for the reviews to come and actually see if the reviews are favorable? What if the reviews all say this radio has multiple issues? Then you are stuck with yet another lemon! I always wait and make sure it's good before ordering. When you think about it, we know absolutely nothing about whether this radio functions as good as it looks! ;)
@@LGBender Not so sure about that. Since 4 in 1 and ELRS are two different versions (although both could add the missing one via the port), there might be different antennas in place － one for either version?
@@DIY-Morti Highly unlikely. For one, the little foldable 2.4GHz antenna is the only one mentioned in the spec sheet, so there's no reason to believe it has more than one. More importantly, though, Radiomaster specified that they used an SX1280 transceiver for the ELRS version and that one only does 2.4GHz. They also list the EP1 and EP2 under "accessories" on their website and sell them with the Zorro as part of their "ELRS starter set". Both are 2.4GHz ELRS receivers.
Well don't like the screen placement or the batteries being only 18350 but thank god it has switches on the top plus extra buttons. Can't believe t-pro has momentary buttons on the top. Like what the hell we have to arm and disarm quad they know right. (I'm def get the extra battery for the bottom ) And if you do iflight commando 8 you don't have an external module bay you can really use. So no crossfire
@Valhallaaaa 35mm is 70% the length of 50mm. Think they wanted to go with 2s as the 1s transmitters are not able to operate down to 3V, so not all battery capacity is usable. While 18350 are uncommon, they are the next smaller size. FYI: BAT002, or CR123A non-rechargeable Lithium 3V Photo Lithium batteries are 17.0 mm x 34.5 mm.(17345 vs 18350.) So could be used, as long as care is take not to plug in USB, which would attempt to charge them. (these same 123 cells are also common in smoke detectors) It would be nice if RadioMaster could confirm, as it could be a temporary solution for those having hard time finding 18350's.
@Valhallaaaa The nice thing is 18350's should be able to charge in most 18650 chargers. 350's are listed on places like Amazon, not popular, but available. Get feeling we might see more of 350's in future for a number of different things. Example mini-flashlights and other items that use are available. BTW: there are containers that hold a pair of 18650's, so could use this as a custom power pack. (common for use with FatShark goggles, etc)
@Valhallaaaa 1:03 ... shows connector and 2s alternative option. Given case has hanging clips (per video), would expect some options will be available within few months. They may have though you referring to 18650 battery box that ships with TX16 transmitters. It lack a way to attach by default (expect might be able to use zip-ties, or another method). Hard to tell, without reviewing dimensions .. early buyers will be able to tell us. LOL.
The problem about Radiomaster is it is impossible to get support for faulty product. When you contact China they send you from one support dest to another faultfinding and months after raisng the issue you are still left with a faulty unit. The Chineese need to improve their support and give warranty for the 12 month period.
My Jumper T-Lite died while charging it the 2nd time. No support from them. Hello RadioMaster! this will be my replacment. I hope you're a better company than Jumper!

Curious, will it be ELRS 2.4 or 900?
2.4, otherwise it wouldn't be able to use the same antenna(s).

Shame their build quality and warranty process isn't as good as this video. It's clear they put the money into the front end of their business.
