Jadon Sancho
AWB
Varane
Casemiro
We never had a rebuild since van gaal

1. Marcus Rashford
2. Marcus Rashford
3. Marcus Rashford
4. Marcus Rashford
5. Marcus Rashford
You forgot Marcus Rashford😂
Should be top the list with Sancho
We cant sell him. He just signed a new contract. The only thing that can happen, is him playing well.
Your list is incomplete without RASHFORD. You lose nothing by stating the truth. Rashford is finished as a player at united. He SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE ON YOUR LIST.
Yeah and Marcus Rashford should follow after that.
There's only a handful that are good enough to stay at Man United. Hojlund, Fernandes, Garnacho, Amad, Mainoo, Martinez, Dalot. The more sold out of the rest, the better.
Take Dalot out of that, and I'd say you're pretty bang on!
@@danielbriggs6482Dalot will improve as the team does, quality player
I think there's some recency bias with Amad, but I'd like to see him stay and play more. Do think there's something there
Bruno is not good enough
Bruno is debatable in my opinion
How on earth is Rashford not on this list? Should be 3rd.
Sells more shirts than anyone else at the club, 4th most in the world and is 1/4 of the youth trained through our academy (needed for European registration). We won’t sell him for the reasons above.
@@damianbrowne847 and this is why Manchester United under the Glazers is not a club worth supporting. The focus is too strong on commercialization and marketing. Meanwhile the squad is suffering!
@@damianbrowne847 the academy thing i didn't think about, but the shirt thing is a misnomer, whoever we bring in will also sell shirts
Then dont support😂@@wolfswinkel8906
He's not good enough to take the club forward It doesn't matter if he's from Manchester or Bangkok.
Sam frightened to call out Rashford being sold , he’s bang average with Sancho’s attitude
I can agree Rashford needs to be sold, but I doubt Sancho could score 30 goals in a season even in the Bundesliga, much less if he ever returns to the EPL.
@@KingCrazyman2011as much as i dislike the Sancho signing i think u comparing Sancho to Rashford in a goal scoring sense is a bit disengenious . Sancho is a completely different profile from Rashford, Rashford is an inside foward and Sancho is an inverted Winger two different playing styles. Sancho plays to retain possession and create for his teammates whilst Rashford is looking to score goals. But one thing is for sure both of them need to go
Rashford should be sold only if United can get someone as high profile as him for the fans to rally around. It's tricky politics selling star players.
@@farhadchaudhryas high profile that doesn’t matter as long as he can do the job the manager requires and it improves the team
@@farhadchaudhry "high profile"? 🤣
Dan James was "low profile" but the fans loved him and wanted him to succeed. We don't need to rally round any one player for anything
The big problem I can see is we need to sell so many players, replace those players, allow the new replacements time to settle in, revaluate as not all will work then go again. That's 2-3 summers. Next season won't be great, better than now yes probably but still not great, that means whoever is in charge needs time but I don't see the fanbase, media and pundits allowing that, really is a big job and huge overhaul
This is so true, and unfortunately I don't see them being given the time unless it's a big name like Jose or so fourth, I mean we just gotta hope the board gives whoever it is ten hag or someone new the time they need to rebuild correctly
@@wolfsyclips5960 agreed ineos and there team need to have the plan, stick to it and ignore the inevitable noise anytime perfection isn't achieved instantaneously. Perhaps giving ETH the final year of his contract is the perfect move, he will be out of it doesn't work keeps people happy, if it works they look good for giving him time
This is one of the reasons why I dislike the idea of sacking Ten Hag, getting a new manager in will only make the rebuild an even bigger job than it already is and set us back further. He knows the players and he's got the youth team coming through very nicely so he can start bringing in players that fit his system especially in midfield and defence. I think once we improve in both of those areas, our attackers will start to perform even better and the team will function like an actual team finally.
I remember a neighbour who was desperate to sell his house, it was known he was desperate to sell,
The buyers set the price they were willing to pay.
It’s a massive job. At least 2 seasons plus we have bought shite. Mount and Onana are not good enough. We need at least another striker, left winger, top midfielder, centre back.
I think it’s fair to say that if Chelsea managed to sell Mount and Havertz for £54m and £64m respectively, we should get atleast £50-60m each for Sancho and Greenwood.
Those 2 players don't have the histories that Sancho and Greenwood have as well as the stupid wages.
😂 yeah, because they are the same cases 😂😂
@@robzombie5928 Kai Havertz was on £250k per week at Chelsea, whereas Mount easily at £80k per week. Not that out of touch with Greenwood’s £75k salary or sancho’s £300k.
Any team who values them for their potential and/or how their profiles fit their team wouldn’t think twice about splashing the cash on them. But we shouldn’t cut their price because Getafe or BVB is lowballing
Havertz and Mount are UCL winners. Sancho and Greenwood are.........mid table EPL players
Greenwood nobody will touch and Sancho is damaged. I am not a arsenal or Chelsea fan but Kai havertz is having an incredible season at Arsenal and has 10-15 goal potential as a secondary striker.
Rashford, Rashford, Rashford, Rashford and Rashford.
Can I have Maguire Maguire Maguire Maguire and Maguire ?
Just keep 6-7 players - Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund , onana, licha, dalot,
Onana?? Really
This is everyone I would sell or give away.
Maguire
Varane
Wan-Bissaka
Fernandez
Williams
Casemiro
Pellistri
Van De Beek
Forson
Martial
Rashford
Antony
Sancho
Shoretire
Greenwood
I don't even care if we finish 10th as a result. I want an end to ridiculous wages for average players. I don't want any mega stars bought. A new philosophy and a fresh approach. Please, I'm fed up!
Keep Maguire, greenwood and fenandes
@@tinyikogifttshabalala8336 I'd let Maguire go for free. Greenwood has no place at the club. And Alvaro Fernandez isn't good enough, although he might actually get game time if we have similar injuries next season.
"I don't even care if we finish 10th as a result"
You'll be looking at relegation with that list!
@farhadchaudhry fine, if that's what it takes. But I don't think you'd get relegated with an 11 of Onana, Shaw, Martinez, Lindelof, Dalot, Mainoo, Erikssen, Bruno, Garnacho, Amad & Hojland. Add 5 or 6 sensible signings and you have a squad. Build up slowly. Stop signing players for more than £50m. Stop signing players over 30. Stop giving players record breaking contracts. Plan, think and be sensible!
The question is why would they leave when they know they can't get similar wages anywhere else? There has to be incentive for them to leave
This. I see the same types of conversations every summer. The reality is only Qatar were willing to take the losses of paying players off. INEOS/Glazers will keep them all
Finally someone with business sense in the comments and not reacting on form and emotional frustration! Thank you! 😊
Id chip in for Rashfords salary to help him go
Varane before Maguire is crazy. Even this current form Maguire shows why he’s not the player we need. He’s great rn but his style of play is not winning us the league.
I see Maguire has improved. He has proved me wrong.
Fully agree maguire might have improved abit but we are still conceding too many goals he’s not good enough
Maguire wud be a backup option..if we can sell well nd good but imo he will be a backup
@leemcdermott7303
McGuire is slow that the issue but his will power to play is beautiful
Maguire is difficult to sell. Varane is out the door already. His contract's done.
Rashford in place of greenwood!.
He doesn't like Greenwood from the look of things, his facial expression when talking about him, it's sad
@@Fredjoojo I see also .. ten hag is even worst not a good coach no pattern of play!
@@agworld1 💯% true
Like you said, Varane and Martial are a given, Amrabat does not get an extension. So it's AWB, Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro, Malacia in the first tier. Second tier is Maguire, Rashford, Eriksen - players with value who are not going to be part of a rebuild. Onana, Antony - just haven't shown to be effective/good enough in the PL. VDB and Hannibal - forget they were even still on the books, they have to go. Luke Shaw is a perma crock now, he has to go. Hard to rank these top 5, they all need to go.
The club never moves players on because we pay ridiculous wages to average players.
It hurts a LOT
More than 5players u mentioned needs to go, most of our players are average players
We could get rid of nearly a full eleven and barely notice a difference in quality without getting new players in.
I don’t think Ineos is selling Mason Greenwood, I’d sell Rashford before I sell Greenwood
I would sell Maguire ahead of Lindelof purely for what we could get for him and wages. I personally think they should both be sold, but for me, it’s not the end of the world if Lindelof stays as a 4th choice CB
1.Antony
2. Sancho
3 Rashford
4 casemeiro
5 Lindeloff
I would keep Mason personally and am also happy as a pig in muck that Martial won't be seen again at OT.
Harry should be sold. I agree that he has played better this season, but this is the time to sell. He does not fit out profile of CB that we would like.
1)Sancho, he's had enough chances from both Solskjaer & Ten Hag to prove himself & he's hasn't lived up to the hype, he'll likely return to BVB
2) Casemiro, you can see he's no longer at the pace for the premier league, his leg are gone & Saudi Arabia will offer good money
3)Lindelof, I haven't ever seen a defender more afraid of the ball than him. bought him in as a ball player & he's more sideways in passing than McTominay. his International career will probably be the reason why someone would pay money for him.
4) Van der Beek, he's had opportunities to take a spot in our shambolic midfield since Solskjaer bought him & many times he's been so poor he hasn't even made the bench. he's not even a squad player at this point, but he's still relatively young & can rebuild somewhere, possibly back to Holland
5) Eriksen, he's just not been the same since Carroll's tackle, he needs to play in a league with less midfield intensity like a Holland or Italy where his football IQ can shine.
Definitely think it's going to be a bigger clearout, with either Shaw or Malacia going, possibly AWB if a new contract is not agreed soon. Amrabat going back to Fiorentina. probably likely McTominay if we get a £35m & Maguire if it's £20m. Varane & Martial going on frees. & Greenwood probably leaving for the good of the club. Benfica will likely take the option to buy Alvaro Fernandez, but I think Hannibal won't be wanted by Sevilla, but still sold on. if PSG makes a huge offer for Rashford I would possibly take it to rebuild, we has Garnacho who can play there & could either stick with Antony or try to find another winger/inside forward in the summer
Man u should be sporting director.
@@burbahawa nah, I'll leave that to Dan Ashworth, the only sporting director job I want is in EA FC 🤣🤣🤣
I dont think we are going to sell more than 4-5 players this season
Players like Rashford maguire mctominay and Antony will end up staying for another season
@@abhitejraj1644 you're probably right, especially with PSR staying in their current form for at least another year, although I can see a lot of players going & many players from the U19s getting promoted straight to the 1st team & several shrewd signings in key positions coming, like if AWB goes I think we'll go for Frimpong
@@leezdabest I think the players easiest to sell (with lowest book values) will go. And the rest will be kept on one season or 2 and then sold or let go.
I think shrewd signings do need to be made but it's always difficult. Academy players are likely to be promoted. And United cashing in on them.
Right now, we're looking at a 5 year overhaul project.
I think we must sell atleast 10 players
I can’t see anything like those valuations , I’m struggling to see who would want to buy them
With the incompetence of past seasons in the market, we need to be careful how many players we ship out because we all know it takes us 6 weeks to sign a player.
Greenwood for 25mil is crazy 💔
I would keep him he's a class player
@@shaunlinaker1725 we can't have him at the club, it's a PR nightmare
@ste4392, but 25m to 35m is too low. Should be able to get 40m.
Surely at least 70mil
Anthony and rashford need to go
I agree with 4 of the 5 players that need to be sold on your list. The only exception is Victor Lindelof. He isn't injury-prone like Shaw, Varane or Malacia. He has been consistent at the center-back position whenever Varane or Maguire was unavailable. Sam, you even said that Lindelof earlier in the season is one of the best center-backs that we have. He has been solid and consistent in his play for United whenever he has been fit and healthy. He has played more games than Varane, Shaw, Malacia, or maybe even Maguire this season. How many times has Lindelof missed games because of injury this season? Not a whole lot right? So even if you don't see him as a first-choice center-back. He can be a backup player off the bench.
I would get rid of Maguire as well, let's not be fooled this guy had too many years failing as captain for man united and I still disagree with him being in the starting 11 even with his current form.
We are still shipping alot of goals with him starting
Where is the financial or football sense in keeping Slab and selling Varane? Just false economy and poor squad managment.
Varane will leave for free in the summer, United won't be selling him.
We can't sell Rapha, he's out of contract. I also think he wants too much money. I don't blame him, he's won everything and really the only one on that team that can command that salary but we can't afford those types of salaries anymore
@@crystallopez3188 we could easily extend his contract (theres a 1 yr 1 way option for a start), and at a lower rate - it’s totally in the clubs hands.
And he’s been fitter and more available than any other CB - and any other defender except dalot - this year. Don’t be fooled: it’s a lazy choice.
@@robzombie5928 yes, but like I said where is the sense when u r keeping maguire? We could easily extend Varane at a lower rate - its in our hands
@@dodgysmum8340 except he’s on a free and it’s up to him, not the club, if he wants a pay cut. If they offer a year to anyone it’s Jonny Evans. At this point in his career, Varane isn’t taking a one year deal.
I will say we loan greenwood for another season he would improve his value to 60 mil atleast and if we have a good season there would be less toxicity and he might come again we should sell maguire also as a priority we might get money of him because he has been solid this season and it would be our last chance to sell him
Keep mason and get rashford out!!!
both out
Couldn't agree more. Watch Greenwood at the weekend. Two goals and he set the third on a plate for Mata. We need him home soonest.
Rashford, Shaw, Maguire, Scott and Onana
Not a real fan
Hopefully this is the beginning of a new era and a new Manchester United 🙏
Varane, Amrabat, Martial gone on a free, probably Heaton and Evans too. So 3-5 on a free. Maguire, Lindelof, Eriksen, Malacia, Casemiro, Rashford, Antony, Alvaro, Williams, Van de Beek, Sancho, Pellistri and Greenwood, plus potentially Wan-Bissaka, McTominay and Mejbri to be sold That's another 13-16 gone. Total 16-21 players that need to go.
Maguire dam it! Those 5 I will give away for free if the next team willing to pay what they want.
Lindelof is a decent back up and servant to the club. There are so many others just not good enough, it’s frightening how much surgery is needed.
Would you just look at sellable assets. Lindelof won't bring in much money and I'd expect around 15 to 20 million but it's Maguire who will be very in demand after his performances this season and you would get at least double for what Lindelof would bring in.
Selling greenwood for that price would be a travesty whether you want him to stay or not he's a top quality player better than any of our current front line and would get into most teams in Europe
IF United could get this squad to play next season that would be a great step towards success 📈!!.
The preferred formation is 3-5-2 since we have too many inverted wingers in our strikers aren't getting much service.
GKs - Onana, *Matěj Kovář* & Heaton.
RCBs - *Todibo* & Varane
CBs - Lisandro & Kambwala
LCBs - *Nico Schlotterbeck* , Maguire & Jonny Evans
LWBs - Shaw & Malacia
RWBs - *Frimpong* & Dalot
CDMs - *Amadou Onana* & Casemiro
RCMs - Mainoo, *Aleix García* & Daniel Gore
LCMs - Bruno, Mount & Scott
Holding ST - *Ivan Toney* & Højlund
ST - Rashford & Garnacho
Maguire is not good enough to play in a high system for United but he has been a better player this season which is why he should be first out the door, we will never get more money for him than we will this summer
@UnitedPeoplesTV are the podcasts no more or they have been moved to members only?
Eriksen:- 10 million
Shaw :- 10 million
Lindelof :- 10 million
Maguire:- 25 million
Sancho :- 50 or 45 million
Greenwood:- 40 or 45 million
Casemiro:- 20 million
Hannibal :- 10 million
Mc tominay :- 40 million
I would love to add Rashford but no one will come for him.
So that gives us 220 million roughly. Buy Dan Ashworth first then think about buying players. Add VDB too :- 10 million which gives us 230 million.
The new era ITS COMING SAM ❤
I think its more important to get rid off rashford than selling greenwood
whats frustrating about this, we overpay for players then they go for free or we sell then cheaply and make a loss
I think 35m for Sancho would leave us breaking even on him as per FFP because his ~70m transfer would only be half paid off on the books by this summer. So that doesnt really add to the kitty for this summer
We could easily sell 15 players this summer. If 5 is over £100m, imagine how much 15 players would be. Nothing controversial either, just getting rid of all the useless players we have in the squad. Whether it’s due to age, injuries, not suiting the system, or just not being good enough. There could honestly be even more than that.
If Greenwood has been acquitted from the charges, has apologised to those effected and changed as a person... why can't he play for Man United again? We could very much do with his ability, and how do you know he hasn't changed personally behind the scenes? Antony got arrested and yet no one is calling out for him to be sold for that reason.
With greenwood they released stone-hard proof of what he did. It was horrible. No matter how much he apologized. With Anthony, they released proof he didn't do anything which is quite the opposite.
Greenwood coming back just makes the dressing room very stale, despite how good of a player he is.
@@MickdeRaad but that doesn’t answer my question, what if Greenwood has changed? Why can’t he receive a second chance? If he is sincere and sorry, isn’t it good for the club to stand by him and suppprt him?
Sancho absolutely needs to go. He's thoroughly embarrassed our club after everything we've given him.
Probably you've ever done what greenwood did or someone close to you will and it won't be online you'll understand why Greenwood should stay.
Rashford, Casemiro, Eriksen, Sancho, Donny
United fans should stop worrying about what Ten Hag is doing and just be hugely excited about this project. You cannot compete with City or Liverpool by just having a great manager. INEOS is about to create the foundation for a hugely successful project, and Ten Hag may or may not be part of that in a season or two. I think you will really start to see what Ten Hag can do once some fundamental structures are in place, including recruitment. Personally I think 4 cup finals in two years and CL is a tremendous achievement, especially with the amount of injuries, and it's only going to get better and better.
Forgot about van de beek
Why do we have to make a top 5 list!?? 🤔🤨
There's player who has to leave no matter how or what: Sancho, Martial, Varane, Donny, Brandon, Eriksen, Casemiro, Lindelof, Hannibal.
There's player who may leave with the right offer: Rashford, Maguire, Scott, Alvaro..maybe Pellestri & Antony
And Greenwood case totally depends on Sir Jim
This list is too generous. Maguire has to go as well. We are unable to play a high def line with him. Antony is another must sell, his level is below premier league level
Selling Greenwood to get someone that can’t lace his boot is baffling
I would swap AWB for VDB and Lindelöf for Maguire. Otherwise I agree. Maguire can bring in much money and earns more than Lindelöf. Besides, Lindelöf are more flexible across the back-line than Maguire.
The one player I disagree with is AWB. I think he's good backup for Dalot and if you don't want to let him leave on a free you can just extend his contract by a year this summer
Fair points. True, the timing of contracts play into this prioritization.
I'd place Anthony in the top 5.
Same, I have no love for Antony. Not a fan at all of how he handles himself on and off the pitch.
One thing that boggles my mind is the expectations of Erik ten hag + the perception of our squad.
Most people would agree that ETH was one of the hottest manager prospect around when we got him. And a lot of people can see some of his successes as a United manager.
Although the frustration from our performances clouds the successes and amplifies the bad. There are still problems that are clear for all to see.
But people want to sack ten hag, blame him for our performances and where United are now. And at the same time would want 10-15 of our players to be moved on and replaced.
I’m no expert. But if 10-15 of your first team squad needs to be moved on, you cannot blame the manager, sack and replace him, and then hope for better outcomes. You still have 10-15 players whom need to go.
You could argue:
Varane, malacia, wan-bissaka, mctominay, martial, DvB, sancho, greenwood, casemiro, eriksen, amrabat, lindeløf, williams, mejbri, pellistri and evans. And some rashford.
That’s 17 players i just listed. Some would argue maguire also, so 18 players.
And yet so much of the talk is about Ten hag, or the frustration week in and week out for our bad performances.
Whilst taking into account injuries of martinez and shaw, argueably the 2 most important players for ten hag’s style of play.
It’s clear what needs to happen, and it’s to back Ten Hag, and overhaul our squad.
Add Anthony, to make a list of 19.
Great point and that’s wild when you actually list out the players… add to that the injuries we had and no wonder we are struggling this season
💯
I guarantee that you will not find two fan channels with the same number of players to sell or sign. This would create a lot of anger, criticism and noise that is not going to benefit the club.
If EtH stays, Rashford needs to go.
He needs to go regardless
@@highlandrmonk9302 Yeh true.
Hope you’re doing a few more of these because this is only scratching the surface
I think we all get too focused on the transfer fee, but what's more important are the wages saved.
Also areas we need to focus on is Defence & Midfield so apart from Varane & Martial {Saving £30m a year in wages} going for free the below need to leave, but can take a hit on the transfer fees.
1. Casemiro (Save £18m a year plus £5m in bonus)
2. Sancho (Save £10m a year plus £5m in bonus) - Take lower up front fees with lots of add ons.
3. MG (Save £2.6m in wages) Contract expires 2025 - so has to be sold this season. Take lower up front fees with lots of add ons.
4. Eriksen (Save £7.8m in wages) Contract expires 2025 - so has to be sold this season.
5.1.AWB (Save £4.7m in wages) Contract expires 2025 - so has to be sold this season. Take lower up front fees with add ons.
*5.2. DvB (Save £4.7m in wages) Contract expires 2025 - so has to be sold this season.
5.3.Lindelof (Save £6.2m in wages) can play RB & LB - (but not an issue seeing him go if we keep Maguire) Contract extended in Jan 24 to June 2025 - so ideally has to be sold this season.
**Wages saved based on Free departures and the first 5 is : £83m Plus Transfer fees
***We wont get more than a few million up from for DvB & Lindelof but will save more on wages £11m.
Considering we would get maybe 25 mio. for Maguire and 5 for Lindelöf and we need to sell to buy and both are only kept to be backups, I'd sell Maguire. We need to sell quite a few players that are actually considered to be worth something. If we only buy one centerback then by all means keep Maguire, but I hope we get two.
We need 2 Center backs with pace. Maguire has massively improved. He’s great in the air and has fight in him, but he just doesn’t have the pace. He can’t play the high line that we want to play.
C'mon Sam, if you think that £30m for a player of Greenwood's ability is a good price, you have been sucked into the United mentality of paying insane prices and then selling at rock bottom prices. I understand that Greenwood isn't the £100m player he was a couple of seasons ago, but he has done ok in Spain, and will be better next season for having had a season to get back into regular matches. If we sell Greenwood, we should be looking at a minimum of £50m and be trying for closer to £70m.
Also, if your figures are accurate as to what we will get, we are not going to be doing a great deal of squad improvement over the summer because we need to be mindful of how much we can spend without getting into FFP problems.
The problem with Sancho is the fact that his lousy attitude has completely devalued his worth in the transfer market. Which club would risk £30 million on him?
Rashford not being on the list, and not being first is crazy
It's a tough one for top 5 but as always great video Sam
The problem is, who are going to buy them? Their salary is rocket high and no one want to take pay cut.
Which club is willing to pay such salary?
So, be realistic. All those players will stay in Old Trafford.
Harry Maguire. Let's not kid ourselves.
Sancho,
Rashford,
Greenwood,
Casemiro,
AWB,
Lindelof,
Donny
Hannibal,
Antony,
Erickson,
Tyrel,
except greenwood all can leave
Martial, Varane
I agree with all except Malachia
ERIC TEN HAG
Hannibal is already gone
1. Sancho
2. Greenwood
3. Rashford
4. Casemiro
5. Antony
6. AWB
7. Donny
8. Hannibal
9. Pellistri
10. Williams
Frees/failed loans
Martial, Varane, Amrabat
People will say its not realistic but half them dont play anyway. If we want to be successful we need to get as many of these gone as possible.
It’s only fair to mention who you are replacing these players with. Fair to mention the guys who should be leaving tell us how you’re replacing them .
Good thing about this: if we can offload these 5 players+ free agents leaving, we can offload almost 90m of salary. Almost 50% dead wood of the book. Good opportunity to restructure our wage structure.
Buying Caseimero for 65m then sell him for 20m is a 45m loss to FFP, add Sancho what is left owed on those players will result in a FFP pure loss which is going to hurt more
More excited about this summer than any in a really long time with Ineos in I see this being the biggest summer since SAF left
Anthony should be on top of this list… He is one of the main reasons, if not the reason United looks like a paper tiger…
Em, that's not Ineos' ruthless man Utd sell list, that's yours. The video title suggests you had a scoop,
Which ever player we are going for should be technically gifted with the ball on its feet, fast in speed strong mentally and composed..with right age too
How the hell did rashford not make this list? I'd really like to see his reasoning for it.
I disagree with your statement because Harry Maguire will not good as this season for sure so many club will want him on good money if we didn’t sell we’ll probably have to sell lesser than lendelof so maguire is priority plus as a tactical POV he doesn’t suits in high defense line role
That £105m should be invested into the stadium as the fans are the lifeblood of the club. They are far more important than hiring employees (aka players on the pitch).
The agenda against Greenwood is insane. I can understand people wanting to sell him (I don’t want to) but come on man he’s not the top priority to sell this summer at all. In terms of how this team has performed he’s had nothing to do with. We can easily loan him out again, boost his value and move other players on. Personally, I’d keep him but if we do sell him we should be looking to get way more than 25-30 mil.
more than 15 senior players need to leave the club , Rashford , Lindelof , Evans , malacia , Varane , both Anthony , Scott mactonmy , Casemiro , Ericsson , mount , Sancho , Green wood , Hainbal , Lastly squad doctors .
With varane, martial leaving on free, selling Casemiro, sancho and rashford would save c2m per week on wages. That’s £100m a year
I remember you doing this last season and we got rid of pretty much 0 of those players and got pretty much 0 of the ones we were after lol
its not 105million you donce, we paid 70million for sancho, 70million casemiro, 35 million for lindelof and 50 million for AWB. 225million in trasnfer fees, so its actually a net -120million loss. which will be reflected in FFP. we obviously cannot do that seeing as we are already on a tight rope with FFP as it stands.
do you even research any of this or just spew non sense?
I agree we need to sell players, but we need players that give us profit, not players that drag us more into a hole
We have got several summers of exiting. Rashford should be top of that list, Sancho, Casemiro, AWB and Greenwood
Imagine selling Bruno and replacing him with Cole Palmer.
Maguire and McTominay have to go this summer. Both players are holding us back in a big way because everything has to change tactically when they’re on the pitch.
United need the biggest squad overhaul of all time, and unfortunately most clubs know this. Therefore be prepared to be lowballed over every player. Many of those you mentioned unfortunately will still be here next season. We are saddled with them.
AWB should be KEPT. Because we need a back up for Dalot.
Also, considering there are so many priority areas which need to be improved, we shouldn’t think of immediately improving or modifying RB area.
We need 2 centre backs (varane and maguire / lidelof), right back to replace awb, two dms as casemeiro and amrabat leaving, winger and striker - 7 signings if those players leave. We want a left back (according to Romano). I think Maguire leaves over lindelof as Maguire is slower and worth more.
The problem now is:
Other teams have seen what these players have done the last couple of years.
Other teams do not want to pay massive transfer fees for your leftovers
Other teams do not want to take on over infatuated wages of these underachieving players.
Others teams are not willing to pay 80 plus million for Anthony ( good player but not 80mill good).
ManU fans are delusional on this front, thinking you can sell theses players for top dollar SMH
PRAY the Saudi league wants some of your players
As long as we dont get a dependable Manager every year rebuild will continue. When ETH came though he could be for long term but seeing this year performance wont be surprised if he get sacked after this season.
No need of sacking EtH but rather buying players who fits into system.
Need to leave this summer: Casemiro, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Sancho, vd Beek. Together with Varane and Martial not signing a new contract and walking out of here.
Need to come: RB - Denzel Dumfries, CB - Todibo, DM/CM - Frenkie de Jong or Joao Neves (?) and a striker: Oshimen, Vlahovic
Letting players go is one thing, spending in FFP is another ! Major headache coming
I'm at a stage where nobody should feel safe. They're all expendable. 😡
Agree with 4 out of the 5.
Don't think AWB is anywhere near high priority - UNLESS he refuses a 1 year extension.
If PSG come in with a decent offer for Rashford, say 80+ million, let him go and immediately reinvest that into the midfield or central defence.
I don't think Antony has done anywhere near enough to warrant another year, and I can only see his value decreasing if he stays.
Ultimately, we have too many that need to go and too many that need to come in, without a structure in place yet, without the funds we need to pay for it all, with no Champions League to offer, a manager who may or may not make the start of the coming season and on the back of a woeful season this season.
Not only do I think we will struggle to sell, I also think we will struggle to buy anyone of any real quality given our current circumstances.
It's almost a perfect storm of disaster frankly.
