Brantwaith is probably the worst one to pay a lot of money for as Licha will be back, Also he can't play left back to cover the injury proneness of Shaw extra. Califiori, Hancko, Hermosa and Kelly are way better options. If you are going to spend big you want to spend big on starters. Meaning the Casimero and Varane replacements. Also I think you mean: "Money is no objection". Also any FM player knows Dorgu hehe.

Very much agree we keep getting dominated across the middle, the no 10 position needs to go and we need three proper midfielders across the middle with one having an eye for goal.
And no Fernandes is not that man he doesn't do enough, minus off the penalties and his contribution in a free role is shocking.
Casemiro is not done stop the bullshit , but he does pick up a yellow from time to time so yes an understudy to Casemiro sure but he must stay.

@@darthplagueis8886 Yeah his form may not be peaking atm but he has all attributes for a solid cdm. Only prob is he always does the defensive work rather alone. But he sure is quality , and to replace him your gonna spend half budget or we end up with Scotty again.
@@jonasnilsson6386Mac Alister cost Liverpool 35M last season, Palhinha cost 20M to Fulham. We just need to do our scouting well and now we will have the right structure to do just that. I think they´ll sell Casemiro, wage and age thing, i don´t agree with it because there´s no way we´re signing two midfielders but like Sir Jim said, its going to take 2 to 3 years for us to get there. The team has a lot of holes, we need at the very least two Summers to challange but a good Summer this year should garantee good football and a 4th place next season.

Hincapíe Lcb - Excellent on the ball, Great passer, Aggressive in the tackle and Also plays Lb. Ps cheaper than Branthwaite.
Florentino Perez Cdm - ranks In the Top 97 percentile for tackles, passes attempted, completed, progressive passes, tackles and interceptions. Massively underrated. Not reallly valued by Benfica. Will be able to get him for cheap
Todibo Rcb- Pretty straight forward
Ait Nouri back up LB.
Bonus- Ezekiel Palacios for cm, He‘ll be able to share the work load with Kobbie and Florentino in Cdm.

Could be hype but Ive been really impressed by Branthwaite, feels like even if he costs anywhere close to his rumoured fee he will probably end up being worth the price. That said Antonio Silva would probably edge it for me, I think hes quality. Todibo, Danso, even Guehi, Murillo would be great options. Im impressed by Neves but like you I doubt we sign him, dont know too much about other DM options really. At LB I like Ait Nouri and Robinson, Gutierrez looks good too. I disagree that players wouldnt want to be understudy to Shaw as Shaw as had consistent fitness and injury issues throughout his career, by necessity any rotation option will probably play 30-40 games.

for a dm id say that Wieffer from feyenoord would be a great option for round about 20 mil hes a steal, great on the ball, strong in a tackle, great in the air, even offers alot attackingly. He's kinda what mctomminay should be but actually does most things well.
Get Hancko of Feyenoord instead who can play left center back and left back equally comfortably. Wieffer so far has disappointed at the highest level (National team and Europe) and Slot (Feyenoord coach) plays a DM to cover for him in the top matches as he is still lacking defensively.

Hi Sam, I saw a defensive midfielder recently in the CL, Amadou Haidara who looked v good, I've only seen him the once but he could be another cheap option worth looking at.
As for the CF position, I think the Fulham player, Muniz, looks like he's going to be a top CF, don't know how much he might cost but IMHO he will be wanted by all the big clubs soon.

Martin Zubimendi would be excellent for the CM role. £51 million release clause, but a brilliant player.
He is not the type of player Ten Hag requires. He needs a ball passing midfield player that can control the flow of play. And always looks comfortable with the ball Mainoo and Casemiro are not that.
Only £51M for Zubi? Now that would be a bargain. Even if you slap on performance related bonuses of around £5M it’s still a fair number.

He is not a passing midfield player. Too many times he gets the ball and passes it back to the defender who just passed it to him. He does not look like he has the natural ability to play that role. He as a player may complement a passing midfield player but that will need to be proven.

I had hoped United would have gotten him last summer. Probably too son for him to move again. Good thing is he can play both 6 and right center back.
You really need to look in to Mats Wieffer from Feyenoord. His stats are insane. Also Athletico Madrid is interested. Also Hancko and Geertruida from Feyenoord are really interesting options as CB.

Though this year left back position was area of the pain, I wouldn't spend money on it yet, because we have other areas that need more attention. Buying a second striker shouldn't be up for debate. We need striker that can score at least 10 goals as a substitute to alleviate the pressure from Rasmus. I agree with adding two centerbacks, one strong CDM. If we have to buy left back, i suggests Fulhams Robinson
Also we have alvaro Fernandez, 3 choice back up option.

A good sporting director can make massive impact. Look at Tottenham with Paratici..2 years, a bunch of good signings with good prices: Vicario, Romero, Pape Sarr, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Udogie, Van de ven.. mostly from Serie A. It's amazing that Utd can miss time after time in transfer. We definitely need Dan & a good scouting department for this summer
We should be buying a left back/LCB hybrid player. Someone who can play both the way shaw can. Cover at CB for Licha, but also an option should shaw and malacia's injury problems continue. Free up budget for an elite CM/CDM. Hopefully Harry Amas comes through then in 2025/26.

Can’t believe Onana is set in stone in a dream team but Martinez isn’t, he was our top 3 player last season and links so well with the wingers garnacho and rashford crossing great long balls
Look at this norwegian #6 - Patrick Berg.
He is by far the best defensive midfielder playing for the best national team, Bodo Glimt, in the norwegian top division at the moment, and has bin a top player in his position over the past few years already.
He is 26 years old, dominating the games he play, whether it's the national league, european games or playing for the national team.
He also has experience playing in Belgium for Club Brugge, but came back to Bodo Glimt in a record breaking transfer fee, only to dominate norwegian football even more than when he left.
I will say that he is probably the most underrated player in european football at the moment, and for a top team like United, a cheap bargain for what i consider to be an answer to Uniteds midfield problem #6.
He is a ballwinner, hard working, creative, intelligent, goals creating, smart positioning, never out injured, mentally strong, leading type, good with and without the ball, great passing with both feets, no fuzz player with attitude and high moral as both on and of the pitch.
You can not go wrong with this player, he will fix whatever problem without questions.
If there's one player i can compare him with, i would say Bruno Fernandes, similar in nearly everything except that Patrick Berg is more defensive, just like Bruno Fernandes is more attacking.
Please, just scout him as a player out, and while your at it, check out Bodo Glimts style of playing, a masterpiece by manager Kjetil Knutsen (which was one of three managers linked to Liverpool by the spanish newspaper Marca using the analysing tool "Coachinside", the other two managers was non other than Xabi Alonso and Luis Enrique) just sayin'!!!

We are likely to sign cb, left back striker and if the budget will allow a cdm also
Sir Jim has already said he's not going to spend big by saying that he wants to find the next Mbappe. So that is going to be the same for All Positions I reckon we will be only spending 10-20 Million on nearly all Positions maybe apart from a Striker at possibly 30 Million
For me I'd sign these players
RCB - Todibo/Bremer
LCB - Branthwaite/Inacio/Yoro
LB - Antonee Robinson/Alfie Doughty
CM - Khephren Thuram
CDM - Neves/Ederson/Wieffer/Fofana/Huljmund/Ndidi
ST - Sesko/David/Gimenez/Petkovic
That's my realistic signings for each position I feel we need. Maybe take a good look within the Championship aswell some cracking talent there

Benfica scout in South America for players who will be sold on. That's is their Trump card
Todibo and varane can form a very good partnership. Need to sign one left back is well, and sell either shaw or malecia.
Premium Center Backs: Araujo (Barcelona), Bremer (Juventus), Bastoni (Inter) - Prospect: Scalvini (Atalanta). Premium Midfielders: Barella (Inter), Goretzka (Bayern), Neves (Benfica) - Prospect: Javi Guerra (Valencia). Premium Left Back: Dimarco (Inter) - Prospect: Bradley Locko (Brest). Wingers Prospect: Assane Diao (Betis). You also didn't mention strikers. We're gonna need to fill that gap now that Martial's on his way out. A Premium option would be Osimhen (Napoli) but I would prefer a striker that could rotate with Hojlund like Guirassy (Stuttgart).

As much as Antonio Silva ticks all the boxes, Goncalo Inacio is also a beast in elite level, cost in the region of €35-45mil, and can partner Antonio Silva, Lisandro Martinez, Todibo €35-45mil, or Branthwaithe.
Central midfield could well be Onana, the Atalanta player in midfield €30-40) or João Neves if we can afford him.
up front on the right Michael Olise or Bring back Greenwood
striker is Sesko, Tony or 🤔 Ferguson if we can afford him
Inacio is great. Left footed though so he would be Licha back up or Licha moves to DM. So you would still need a Silva or Todibo.
My suggestions would be:
RCB: Tosin Adarabioyo
LCB: Max Kilman,
LB: Estupiñan, Maatsen, or David Raum
CM: Nikola Moro, Edwin Cerillo, Kouadio Kone, or Youssouf Fofana (Amad Diallo probably like Bernardo Silva)
It could also be Wolves Joao Gomes as a midfield signing and Ait Nouri for left back, another option for left back could be Ferland Mendy, think he would be perfect to have as a backup cause we all know shaws gonna be injured half of the season....
Would also love to se Amadou Onana as cdm, big and physical and also good with the ball
And then up top i would like to see Calum Wilson as a more experienced striker

If I'm being honest we should stay away from branthwaite, I mean he's a good player but he's going to be expensive and there are other similar if not better option available on the Market.

Frimpong is a got to get. Learned it hard at Celtic and now on fire at Leverkusen. He also plays left back. He is a definite attacking defender and constantly feeds the final third. Todibo is obvious and Ederson.
Dalot is good enough to be first choice
@@michael43567 Dalot and Frimpong both play on the left. Frimpong gives M.U better depth on the bench. Shaw is being dogged with more injuries. And I wouldn't want to lose AWB either.

@@michael43567 well that's your opinion, The player injuries are never going to go away and, in my opinion, the current depth on the bench is poor. Improving it will definitely increase the chance of a title challenge.

What do you think will be different to what Chelsea have done this and last season if we go out and spend bucket loads on unproven-at-the-top-level youngsters? Mainoo needs someone alongside with experience (not end of career like Casemiro) for example. Our problem over the past 10+ years has been overspending on crap because our scouting has been dreadful and panic. If we want to go youth then no problem at all, but can we pleaae do it sensibly for a change??
Hermosa at left, because he’s free. If he fits in well, Shaw is not injured, Shaw could well be LCB that we looking for, when Lisandro is not around.
I don’t think Lindelof is leaving, and only either Maguire or Varane maybe leaving. That the case we need one more CB that’s about it.
So defensively, if we get Hermosa and Tadibo, we are looking at spending around £50mil.
We just need a striker to backup Hojlund. Somehow Giroud came across my mind 😅, he’s a free transfer, proven goal scorer and know EPL well, and obviously had no problem sitting on bench as backup.
That the case, we can have sufficient budget to go for Neves
I don't what's going to be our budget but the way I'll rebuild will be by fixing back 4+ pivot before changes upfront.
They play a massive role in dictating how we play- technical cbs,fbs,cm dm ensures we focus on playing through short passes,combination plays,overloads,third man runs,cutbacks etc. This way can get more out of our attacking players- hojlund,garnacho,bruno rashford,etc. So, this is how I'll approach-
Dm( 2 players)- press resistant defensively solid midfielder
8(1 player)- press resistant deep lying playmaker
Rcb( 2player)- right footed,ball playing, quick ,defensively solid cb
Lcb(1 player)- same aforementioned qualities but left footed
Lb(1 player)- fast , injury free, great crossing ability
This is how I'll go about my buisness. Now I'm not gonna be able to name the targets as I've stopped watching other leagues/other pl games for a while now. But the profiles of my targets are very clear in my head.
If we had luxury to do more buisness- then a st, rb, rw will be ideal.
Signing 7 players however seems unrealistic let alone 10 players
i dont get the hype around joao neves. he is similar to maino, and we need a more physical line breaking 6, like onana. our midfield will be too fragile with manio, bruno, and neves and he is not proven to be worth a lot.

These would be my top 5 priority positions & signings for Utd this summer:
•CB - Antonio Silva - £87m (release clause)
•RW - Olise - £60m (release)
•CM - Éderson - £35m (rumoured)
•RB - Frimpong - £35m (release)
•ST - Sesko - £42m (release)
Total £259M
Olise is injury prone. Why do we need a RB assuming AWB stays? Regardless, I don't think Frimpong will be that cheap. Sesko isn't much better than Hojlund.

Dream RCB: Silva/De Ligt/Scalvini Realistic: Todibo. Dream LCB: Hancko/Califiori Realistic: Hermoso, Kelly. LB: No one! Save money. This is panic buying due to bad luck this season. If you get an LCB that can also truly play left back you should be fine which the previous list can all do. Dream CM: Tchoumeni. Realistic: Andre of Fluminese and possibly Ndidi on a free as back up, as I see Mainoo more as an 8 then a 6 and Jao Neves is also more an 8 so need someone who is a true 6.
Palacios from leverkusen would be the best as midfielder

zirkzee for striking role. different style incomparison to hojlund, jarrad branthwaite for LCB, for left back i believe alvaro should return and he be given a chance coz he is really good and also helps with limited budget, if maguire and varane are moved on then a right CB would be ideal and scalvini would be good in that role, for cdm if casemiro leaves the sign a player that is a good cdm as well as good cm archie gray is nice as well as charlie patino coz it seems eriksen could leave and so could mctominay
that would be basically the list : zirkzee, scalvini, jarrad branthwaite, alvaro fernandez, archie gray and charlie patino or dejong

About calafiori, i watched him at basel one year ago but he used to be a fullback and not a center back. So he bascally only played this season as a centre back, which makes him pretty unexperienced. They look good in serie a but from what i have seen from him i have to say i can not see him at the level needed at united.

Transfer market is fun to dream about, but the reality is making a lot of offers, only a few get interest, then you got to negotiate. We need more high producing offensive players. Who they are doesn't matter.

But probably they will sign center back because varane's contract will expire, maguire and lindelof got one more year left i think.
Most important thing to do is extend Varanes and Casemiros contracts , i dont care if its alot of money. That is 2 players which you cannot just replace in the summer.

No for Antonio Silva, he doesn't have pace and we will end up with the same problem we have now trying to play a high block/high line. I'm surprised you didn't mention Goncalo Inacio of Sporting as a premium choice. He would fit better in United as he's got pace and good at 1v1 and having a good range of passing.
First season ten hag came dybala was free agent. He works well as secondary striker and assist/contribute a lot with the main striker

LB is a confusing position for us right now. Alvaro Fernandez, if Benfica wont make his loan permanent, needs to have a chance at LB, meaning when save 5-10 million pounds to spend elsewhere.
Andre from Brazil would be a good CDM to replace Case and work alongside Kobie.
