Today I'm looking at the potential Manchester United signings under INEOS. We have 32 names to run through, including: Olise, Palhinha, Frimpong, Neves, Araujo, Maatsen, Todibo, Osimhen, Balde, Raphinha, Archie Gray, Onana & more! - บันเทิง
Major brain fart with Jose Mourinho being Italian, lads 😅😂 I wanted to say Ancelotti. Not sure what happened there 😅 pls forgive me xx
Ya sure bro
I am very surprised bakayoko isn’t on there as a psv fan I would sell him for 40
Sure thing 😂😂
Also, Joselu was 27 in 2017 😂
Two things can be true at the same time, ten hag is clueless & the players have been having a bad culture for a very long time, ten hag & 80% of first team MUST GO… in summer bring a no nonsense coach like De Zerbi & carry out a PROPER CLEAR OUT. One good thing with De Zerbi is he can do wonders with youth and average players....united won't require superstar signings he will work with talents like Openda, Jonathan Davids, Ivan Toney, Vlahovic, Brahim Diaz, Dyabala 12million release clause ,Sergej Milenkovic, Ousmane Diomande, amadou onana; amadou haidara from Leipzig who is a man utd fan, Johan bakayoko, zubimendi, Latin America talent, replace Rashford with mitoma, Neco Williams or Leao etc
Joao Palhinha feels like a classic Man United stop-gap signing though. A player nearing 30 that hasn't played at a club with the expectations of United, taking time to adapt then dropping off and needing replacement within a few seasons, never really justifying his fee
It would better to go for someone younger and not as polished, and accepting that you won't be good enough to challenge for UCL for a year or two
it feels like your club needes to stop being shit, because you should have gotten palhinha in 2021 right after sporting won the league but you kept mcFred alive for another season and got 30 year old casemiro for double the price you would have gotten palhinha for a season before. he is still the best DM in the world on defensive duties, which is what you need right now, has been since 2021, better late then never
@@nunoboss8 Im not a United fan… Thankfully
@@robertpttt9790 salut, same, shit run club, how you cant identify a top DM when you need one as one of the biggest clubs in the world is beyond me, how much do they pay scouts? pay me instead, at least i can scout the portuguese league better than these clowns
@@robertpttt9790 I'm a United fan.... thankfully! Yes we're shit at the mo, but if I didn't support Utd then I'd have missed out on 26 glorious years of trophies under Sir Alex! (And I am from Manchester)
He’s 28 & is premier league proven. He’s not like Casemiro & Varane that feels like they’re doing us a favour signing for us.
Antonee Robinson as a left back shout! Talk about players who are up for a physical battle.
As a Fulham fan I love him, but he's shit defensively. I don't think he's Top6 quality and he'd cost too much to be a back up
This sounds mad but i honestly feel like any big signing (over 30 mil) who is over 27 is pointless, United are not going to compete for the next few years and would just need to be replaced and with less sell on value would kill them in ffp
It doesn't sound mad at all. It's a fair point.
Nah but having a bunch of young players is not always the best ima Chelsea fan and we severely need experience in midfield and cb
@@witcherob_2392 No one says United need only young players. Not every new signing has to be under 21. Also Arsenal have a lot of young players and they are fine.
Fr
@@witcherob_2392 they need smart signings between 22-26, 27 at a push
One of those few United related channels which assesses the team calmly with proper critical thinking and no negativity. Cheers Joe 👍
United SHOULD BE LOOKING INTO Ricardo Calafiori. He can play as a LB and a LCB and he has a great profile, good on the ball and the perfect height at 6’2
I think i read juve are close to getting a deal done for him, but i could be wrong
Just signed him for my United save on FM ,,, no idea who he is but I'm using a skin with no attributes only data metrics and he's off the charts
Nice shout, I say Piero Hincapie💯
i signed him in the championship for gillingham on fm23. good player.
Bologna is playing the champions league next season. Why would he want to go to a club that is not even in Conference?
Can't believe nobody said him, but Fofana from Monaco is available for 25m. He's a must this Summer
Very interesting suggestion…
What makes you think we could get him for that cheap? He’s a midfielder about to enter his prime years who has been performing well. He only has a year left of his contract, but I’m not aware of any release clauses. I like the player, but assume he’ll be closer to £40m.
@@matskf it's been quoted everywhere that it's 25m
@@joshuaclarke99 That’s not quite true. This price was mentioned a year ago, and one or two unreliable reports have mentioned that price again not too long ago. But there has not been any reliable reports regarding demands from the club. I suspect he would go for closer to £40m.
@@matskf so you're saying I'm wrong because of your opinion? When I'm using reports from multiple sources?
Adarabioyo, Bowen, Mcginn, Ferguson (Bologna), Leif Davis, DCL (If Everton are relegated). Clarke and Jayden Philogene have been outstanding this past year in the championship out wide and have had to fight to make it after being let go by top teams. Hayden Hackney has been fantastic in midfield for Carrick this year. Matt O’Reilly at Celtic looks superb. We need tactically intelligent, serious personalities in the squad first. Then you bring in the “star players” in future windows on top of the core of good personalities. Everyone wants the stars first but when you’re looking to rebuild a club culture, you start with tactical and the right people and build on top of that.
Everton can’t get relegated …
@@JimmySands-pd7xt There’s a chance Everton go into administration before the end of the season due to their prospective new owners being found to be improper owners. If Everton go into administration, they may face a further 10 point deduction which would put them right back into the relegation battle, possibly directly relegating (I don’t know how far from 18th they are right now).
Mcginn as in John Mcginn? He isn't going to go to utd and step down that far 🤣
Lets be honest here utd are not signing more then 3 players and unless they sell loads they won't be getting many players in.
@@DeaconDispairwe will very much likely get at least 3 signings, I’ve seen reports saying 3 priority signings then the rest is based on sales, but I think that goes up to 4/5 signings, and then if we want more, we would have to sell
Tosin for free would be huge and change it to 4. As it’s INEOS’ first window i see them wanting to make a statement.
Lets hope anyways.
I'm a huge fan of John Mcginn wanted him at united a long while
Guirassy's link up play is top-notch too, something which doesn't get spoken about enough.
For me we need a CB (possibly 2), DM, LW & SC as a minimum, so Guirassy and Adarabioyo are no brainers for sure.
Olise is a must and I really like Boubacar Kamara (who we should've signed for free when we had the chance) to play alongside Kobbie.
Guirassy won‘t come to Utd, especially if they should make it to Europe
@@boschvater It might be his last chance for a big contract tho.
Agree, guirassy reminds me a lot of Kanoute
"Olise is a must" but you refuse to acknowledge his injury record.
I don't think you people are ready. Playing 15 games in a season and you're so excited all because you wanted Olise.
Same problem all over.
Absolutely no way in hell Frimpong would even consider leaving Leverkusen for Utd atm.
I'll be very surprised if he does
Thats crazy cause it doesnt matter if he likes it or not, bro accepted a release clause on his contract. If united activate it theres nothing he csn do.
@jigglebiggle2799 you do know players can reject contracts?
Release clauses are paid by the player who signed the contract, not by a club. Its just never spoken of like this because the club wanting to activate a clause will always give the money to the player so the player can activate it without using their own money. This means there would be no way for a 3rd party to activate a release clause without consent of the player who signed the contract.
And even if United could activate the clause without Frimpong's consent, it would just break his contract with Leverkeusen. He wouldn't be under any obligation to the sign a contract with United and could go anywhere he wanted at that point.
Xabi is hoping to have fimpong for the next season, his release cluase will be 40 to 35 million pounds before the euros. if united dont budge i think real madrid will buy him
When it comes to Manchester United players signing this summer, I can only wait and see. Palhinha, Todibo and Tosin can be a very good start. Amrabat got my attention as well
Love your content Joe, refreshing to watch someone who uses logic in their videos, keep up the great work.
As a Barcelona fan myself
Have to say Araujo won't move. He came through the club since 17 yrs old. Even tho his had his mistakes here and there we rely on him way too much to let him go. He himself didn't even want to move to Bayern😭😭
Barselona bought him when he was 18 years , almost 19 he is not from accademy
@@djenkavasa2690Barca fans love saying some players came through the academy, when they were literally bought at like 17/18

Great vid. Been a fan of yours since the early days of Stat wars on Euro Football Daily!
Why isnt anyone talking about Aflie Doughty. On the Saturday Social you were raving about him. With Luton going down, he might be a cheap option with plenty of assists in him
Because he’s a wing back…
Class idea. Liverpool next?
Good shout!
Miguel Gutiérrez is a great shout and seems most realistic left back option for right fee although we have to deal with City's feeder club. A very surprising call might be Bynoe-Gittens if United considers a swap deal for Jadon Sancho, although I believe they will fancy the money more.
Gutierrez is very much a midfielder in a LB role though, so much better inverting and on the underlap. If the goal is security and to unlock Rashford better, not sure if it’s the best fit.
Branthwaite & Todibo CBs (Lindelof & Varane replacements). Everton PSR troubles could mean an ok price for Branthwaite.
Zubimendi DMC (Casemeiro replacement)
Dewsbury Hall CM (Eriksen / Amrabat replacement)
Toney ST (2nd striker)
Gutierez LB
KDH! Love that shout.
great insight for only your eighth video! Interesting commentary.
still waiting for championship stars and which prem clubs they should join
What I don't like about Palinha is the fact that he is 28, and United the earlier I think can compete is 26/27. when he will be 30/31, and I think United should look for players to be in the first team in 5 years
You can't sign exclusively 22/23 year olds.
your club needes to stop being shit, because you should have gotten palhinha in 2021 right after sporting won the league but you kept mcFred alive for another season and got 30 year old casemiro for double the price you would have gotten palhinha for a season before. he is still the best DM in the world on defensive duties, which is what you need right now, has been since 2021, better late then never
@@nunoboss8do you see how you contradicted yourself? We should have gotten Palhinha when he was breaking through, then spent double on an aging Casemiro. Now we’re gonna do the same thing with Palhinha and miss out on the player who will be a top DM in 2-3 years. We need to identify the player we think will be the best DM in the world in 2-3. Someone like Fofana, Weiffer, or Joao Neves. Not necessarily 22 year olds, but also not 28-29 year old midfielders.
@@henrybrown9562 joao palhinha's legs aren't done like casemiro's clearly were, he's played way more football than palhinha in his career, he's still good to go, joao neves in nowhere close right now, especially not as a DM, he's as ready as mainoo, the others just aren't even close to being as good, keep making signings for the future like hojland and the team is gonna keep on being shit, because they cant develop in that environment, you need experience, especially underrated experince like palhinha because he's not as expensive
Ivan Toney to United feels like a perfect fit I think only United and Spurs are going to look to sign him from the top 6 clubs
Toney would he a very sensible signing so Utd probably won’t do it
ManU should go for Koopemeiners.. he's been unreal since last seasons just flying under the radar.. Also ManU without Europe may not attract Top prospects so they should go for such underrated gems that are light on the wallet as well
This is a really decent shout... the issue is - is he a 6?
@@joethomlinson_he was
@@joethomlinson_ No De Roon is the 6. He wouldn't be that bad of a signing himself for less than £12m if it's possible at that price
Mbeumo, Tosin, Ndidi, Fofana, Barkley, Todibo, Nico Williams, Gutierrez, Douglas Luiz, Guirassy, Joao Gomes, Diomande. Would be players I like depending on what we offload and need going forward which depends on the clubs identity or managers vision. Something massive the club needs is a boost in physicality which seems an issue for us in the league. We are always dominated in the air and are shocking from most set pieces compared to the other top clubs
Personally I feel like we’re going to do a lot more business this summer than people are expecting. Just don’t see how we won’t sign at least two cbs, a lb, midfielder and a striker. And then if Wan-Bissaka moves on we’re probably going to need a rb. Also Olise is apparently INEOS’ #1 target. Should be an interesting summer at the least.
Got to take into account that Greenwood, Sancho, Casemiro, Eriksen, Varane, Evans, one of Lindelof or Maguire and possibly Wan-Bissaka could all be moved on.
You’re getting next to nothing for any of those players though so FFP falls into place and no CL football you’ll struggle to sign all that you need this summer unless you get a good fee for Sancho
Great content!
good vid man keep going
Great video, what’s that website you’re using to look at players?
Fbref
Man Utd's needs in order of priority:
Squad depth - all positions
Replacements for all injury prone first team players (RCB, LB)
Replacements for players that are now too old (CDM)
First team Right Winger
Backup striker
First team right back (Dalot's decent, but not first team quality)
Given all this it's pretty clear we've got a lot of problems we need to resolve with a budget that's been severely cut due to the ridiculous contracts we've been doling out; so my strategy is gonna be to look for good quality players with contracts either expiring in 2025 or with low release clauses - using FM24 as a database and whoscored to validate their performance this season:
Serhou Guirassy (ST) - 17m release clause
Mikel Merino (CM/CDM) - 38.5m release clause
Miguel Gutierrez (LB) - 30m release clause
Alexander Sorloth (ST/RW) 37.5m release clause
Joshua Kimmich (CDM/RB) expires in 2025
Lutsharel Geertruida (CDM/RB/CB) expires in 2025
Federico Chiesa (ST/RW/LW) expires in 2025
Unai Nunez (CB) contract with Bilbao expires in 2025
so far (assuming the injury prone players are no longer at the club; we've sold Casemiro, Maguire, Lindelof, Wan Bissaka, Sancho, and McTominay, and VDB; and Eriksen and Evans have retired) this is how our squad depth is looking:
3 ST, 1 youth ST (+Rashford, Chiesa)
1 senior LW, 1 youth LW (+Chiesa)
2 senior RW, 2 youth RW (+Sorloth)
3 senior CMs, 1 youth CM
2 senior CDM (+Merino, Mainoo)
2 senior LBs, 1 youth LB (+Dalot)
2 senior CB, 1 youth CB (+Geertruida)
1 senior RB (+Kimmich, Geertruida)
2 senior GK
for probably around 200m, we'd still be missing one CB and I can't find any more; so the rest I'd splash on Branthwaite and negotiate Everton down to around 50m seeing as they're desperate for money; completely fixing our team (yes I understand some of these names are underwhelming, but that's why they're depth and not first team) in one summer for a relatively low cost
You're all welcome
First sell Rashford, maguire and Mctominay...then only think about new signing...
Like the shirt mate! I have a lot of Them from 98/99 season :) who u Got on the back?
Love these

should deffo do this with a few clubs this summer!
not a utd fan but i really think you guys should look at rw, lb, cb, cdm. something utd especially under sir alex were great at, was signing great players from with in the prem. olise, guehi, onana and doughty would be my picks for you guys
Tijjani rejinders would be amazing, he is good on the ball and has a good boot on him.
Hope we are monitoring Adam Wharton. North West player who has impressed every Palace game I've seen this season
I only want warriors in the summer:
CB: Kim Min-Jae £40m(If Bayern would sell)The new Vidic
CDM: Palhinha £50m

I feel like you've completely missed the entire goal of the new regime, which is to build an elite squad for the future, not for right now, or even the next two seasons. Neves is the exact type of player they'll spend most of their budget on, along with people like Olise, Branthwaite. They aren't signing older players like Palhinha for fees that large - that's part of what's got us into this mess now! He isn't worth £50m to us when we won't compete for years yet. It's basically wasting money.
Yep!
Why not make one for all the clubs? Would be a fascinating series!
Cause he is a United fan and we need the help. Teams like City and Arsenal don't need anyone. Teams like Palace are already signing young wonderkids for the futude
Did you just call the 34 year old Joselu 27?
he did lol
Olise aint joining the banter club he just smashed 4-0
He’s a fan. Never say never.
Would be a weird choice for him to go, his ceiling is so high and he’s simply not going to reach it playing at United
That’s why he played so well, it was his audition
Ridiculous comment Man U are a FAR bigger club than palace , deluded.
Olise is smart enough to know why palace smashed united
Branthwaite and olise seems like the biggest transfer rumour United have rn. How can Araujo more realistic 😂
Recruitment is key in football yes and united do need players as the current ones we have aren't performing the task set. However are these players that bad or is it just the culture set at united? Was ten hag meant to change that? Currently we look at united squad and yes there is parts where we look and it has some qualities the quality we lack is consistency ! Consistency such, Squad performance (philosophy), player performance ( effort and ability). We need to clean the house first then sign players that fit the culture and process set. Ten hag has to be given a chance with consistency and a model in a structured board to help with his philosophy he wanted at the start of the process, the board decided the profile of player to fit his plan
Top video joe 🔴⚪
Pls do the exact same video for Tottenham ❤
Personally, I'm quite convinced TH wants to play 3-4-3, but he doesn't have the players to do so. That also explains the signings and the targets: Malacia, Antony, Olise, Frimpong, Dumfries, Gutierrez, Hernandez... all of them are best at wingback...
The centerback targets are also pretty much all CB's that can function or funcion best in a 3-4-3 (forward going, wide, CB-fullback hybrids): Pavard, Todibo, Boscagli, Tapsoba, Pacho, Simakan, Araujo, Silva, Koundé, Scalvini. All of them, except Branthwaite, but someone has to be sweeper as well, but probably won't go for him as he is not versatile in that sence. Martinez could perform well as left sided CB and has played left back as well in the past.
Mount and Hojlund played in 3-4-3 systems
Apparently the under 21s and under 18s are also training in 3-4-3 and TH has sometimes played 3-4-3 in the past as well (Ajax had a clear club system of 4-3-3, which all managers, including TH needed to follow)
If TH gets sacked, Tuchel would be the obvious replacement as he is a known 3-4-3 manager. I really don't want Tuchel though, as he got fired from chelsea, PSG, and dortmund all for falling out with people internally and aside mainz he never worked longer than 2 years. Very obvious red flags. Personally I would like to see the team as TH wants to play it and with a complete and fit squad before we give him the sack. He has always exceeded expecations in the past. Utrecht, Bayern, Ajax and last year at MUFC too. I don't think they want to sack him unless fan pressure gets too big.
In terms of signings in 3-4-3:
-Olise as RWB
-André Trindade(CDM, cheaper neves alternative)
-Pacho, LCB
-Boscagli (backup for CB & CDM)
-Simakan, RCB
-Anselmino, (backup, sweeper)
-Joselu, backup striker
-Welbeck, free 3rd striker, like Evans signing & train Hojlund
-Barkley, free, backup for Mainoo
Imo, no need to spend on a LWB unless we offload Malacia, Shaw and/or Antony, who can all play LWB, if we do, than Theo Hernandez.
For right back, I think United should go for someone more experienced or assured and smart (and on budget): Henrichs (RB Leipzig) or Cash (Aston Villa)
For centerback: Konsa should be that guy - he’s almost like an English version of Akanji but Guehi might be up for sale and partnering either next to Braithwaite would be smart.
Estupinians stock is at a low- buy now.
Aursnes from Benfica is like the best Utility player out there atm. He would be a perfect Eriksen&Arambaat Replacement.
Hjuland, and Weiffer are great midfield choices BUT Pessina from Monza is a great budget choice.
Ferguson from Bologna, steal Paqueta from West Ham, Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig are players who can also fit in the mid and some on the wing as well. Raspedori is a CAM who I think can be a star if given the 10.
Wingers… Olise seems like another Anthony ngl, Jared Bowen or Pedro Neto are waaaaay better choices who do have that grit. Eze and Bakayoko are good as well.
Strikers: two options- Gyorekes and/or Ivan Toney. No brainer.
I think United should sign Mario Hermoso from Atletico. Yes he’s a left footed CB, but Lisandro has been injured almost the entirety of this season. He’s also free this summer. He’s good with the ball, fairly quick and a solid defender. He should be a priority signing along with Tosin Adarabioyo to fix the issues of personnel in defense.
spot on with your physicality point. it is the key to United playing consistently at a high level in the prem. spine has been so bloody soft for so long. need at least one beast athlete CB to partner Martinez and at least one beast athlete CM with perhaps a bit more class/finesse than McTominay. some extra steel at FB wouldn't hurt either.
Great video joe but one sum was wrong. If u saw fabrizios video he said that bremer has a clause that triggers next year but theres a gentlemens agreement that he could come for 60-70 m € which is 51-60 m£. Also nico williams can play rw
Jose Moruinho is not italian. I would of mentioned Ancelotti
Haha what a stinker - I meant to say Carlo. Just a brain fart.
It happens, I figured you were going to say Ancelotti, keep up the great work Joe!
Great analysis. United need to sign you up because it seems your 30min vid of transfer research is more than the current board have done in 10yrs.
My realistic priority 3 would be:
1. Olise
2. Todibo
3. Maatsen
With the €150 budget and assuming ETH stays, I think 3 priorities for me would be 1. Olise 2. Kephran Thuram, 1 year left on his contract and the Nice links make it a very realistic deal for me and 3. Todibo or Antonio Silva from Benfica if taking 2 Nice players would sound alarm bells with the FA 😂😂 if you can get those 3 with Tosin on a free and an experienced striker on an affordable deal e.g Guirassey then I think that’s a really good transfer window
Many clubs have looked at Inzaghi as a potential manager, INCLUDING Ineos-led United... But he reportedly isn't interested in a move away from Inter.
You massively understood the budget on this one with how much we make from sales. We could get that from just greenwood and sanch9lo
Sancho wont be sold with his wages. Another loan move at best
Neves is genuinely one of the most enjoyable players I’ve ever watched, I also think he’s too smart to leave Benfica too early like Renato Sanchez and others
Good video and insight...
But really bugged me when you were talking about Italian managers and you mentioned Conte and the Portuguese Jose Mourinho... but didn't include one of the best managers of all time... Carlo Ancelotti ...
Joe you are spot on lad
Olise, Matt O'Riley, Joey Veerman. Would love any of them.
Im a barca fan and I can 100% assure you that Araujo will not leave Barca, and especially not to join Man United, he has just recently signed a new contract and a club would have to pay at least 100 million for him, Araujo is a future barca captain. Him and Cubarsi are our future center back duo for the next 10 years

Frimpong has played 41 of his 139 games for Leverkusen at RB.
Also played RB at least 50% of his starts at Celtic.
How long ago was this video pre-recorded? We aren’t making conference league this season
I think a 2 striker formation would suit us better especially Hojlund maybe 3412 or 442 diamond
Center-Back:
Piero Hincapié (Bayer Leverkusen): A young and promising center-back who has shown great potential in the Bundesliga.
Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen): Another solid defender who is reliable and offers a strong physical presence at a reasonable price.
Right-Back:
Tariq Lamptey (Brighton & Hove Albion): Known for his pace and attacking ability, Lamptey could be a great addition to United’s defense without a huge financial outlay.
Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen): As previously mentioned, he is an excellent option who is known for his offensive contributions.
Defensive Midfield:
Ibrahim Sangaré (PSV Eindhoven): A robust midfielder who excels in breaking up play and offers great value for money.
Edson Álvarez (Ajax): Known for his versatility and defensive skills, he could provide excellent cover and competition in midfield.
Striker:
Gonçalo Ramos (Benfica): A young forward who has been prolific in the Portuguese league and could be available for a reasonable fee.
Jonathan David (Lille): A versatile attacker who can play across the front line and has a good scoring record in Ligue 1.
Wingers:
Noa Lang (Club Brugge): A talented winger who has been impressive in the Belgian league and offers creativity and pace.
Ismaïla Sarr (Watford): Experienced in the Premier League and Championship, Sarr is known for his speed and dribbling ability.
Palhinha and Raphina would be good for Bruno aswell, they are old teammates and used to work well together. Familiarity on the pitch is what this squad is missing, if we could get both for a combined 100mil or less then it's solid business. Throw in that Leeds lad, Todibo, a striker and a few others , then we would have a solid base to start next season from. One problem, we have to do business quick and work signings out before the euros if possible, or we're gonna screw ten hag over for pre season.
Joao Neves and Olise are a 100% must have!!!!!
For me:
- Branthwaite £60m / Tosin FREE
- Olise £50m (Release Clause)
- Frimpong £35m / Geertruida £30m (One year left)
- Fofana £30m (One year left) / Dewsbury-Hall £30m / Barkley FREE
- Todibo £35m
- Robinson £35m
- Guirassy £15m (Release Clause)
Pretty sure Olise’s release clause is closer to £70 million than £50 million
@@callumgodman7184 Fabrizio Romano said it’s closer to 50 than 60 a couple months ago, but some people think it might be dependent on whether the club who activates it is in the Champions League but idk
@@AL3X2703 Yeah I think the champions league club is a part of it but I think there are also other conditions like it all having to be paid up front rather than over a few years and also the club who buy him have to cover money Reading would be owed from their release clause
would also add that fab has been wrong on Olise before, saying he was joining Chelsea last summer
IMO, I'd bring in 1) Matson at LB 2) Olise at RW 3) another budget striker for rotation 4) a quality CB, Araujo is my preference and 5) Joao Neves at CDM (yeah, I know it's a lot, but he'd be our starting CDM for a decade). I'd reckon that'll all cost in the neighborhood of $250mil, but hopefully they can raise at least half of that from sales, and maybe they can get at least 1 of those as a loan with obligation to buy or something to defer the cost to next year. Do all of that and they'll be easily in the top 4 next season.
To say we only should be getting 1 cb is crazy and that rb is not a priority. You have to look at how Ten Hag wants to play (high line, play out from the back). This means players like Lindelof, Maguire and Evans should be going. Also Varane is not getting an extension. Therefore we should be looking to buy at least 2 maybe 3. Wan bissaka will probably go because he does not suit how we want to play, we need a fullback that can invert and overlap. Unfortunately he is not that so no rb may not be the biggest priority but we should be looking to upgrade.
this season we HAVE to try and sign todibo, maatsen(maatsen is dutch so that helps ten hag as well) and adeyemi because they are both 22,talented and have insane work ethic in their matches(and also keep sancho and you have that dortmund chemistry and comfort)
Lol the editor must have had a few last night, forgot to cut some parts out lol good video tho
Argument for Frimpong is squad depth he can play RB and RW both positions we need depth in
olises release clause is not 55m pounds anymore. it was around that when chelsea tried to get him last summer. after all that he signed a new deal and the new reported clause only applies to champions league clubs and is 60M+ minimum
It’s probably fair to predict that none of these players will actually end up signing for United
Priority needs to be defenders and midfielders build the spine first
I think if a RB does Sign. Dalot could be a steady reliable option at LB. He steps into the midfield really well from LB.
Fore me, branthwith is around 50m and fullham free defender
Onana/neves with barekly/Rabiot
Olise with Lautaro Martinez
For my career mode Utd team, I signed Gregor Kobel and he’s been amazing! Onana isn’t a bad keeper but with his age and the experience he’s has, compared to when De Gea first came to the club at 19 years of age, is inexcusable. It hasn’t clicked with him, and I feel a loan would be best for him if they can get someone better and possibly very young. That’s just me though.
I wish we had kept Kovar. Apparently there is a buy back clause.
Here’s what I think we should do:
- Todibo - No brainer for me, decent price and INEOS connection.
- Hermoso - Would be solid back up LCB/LB option available on a free. A Johnny Evans esque signing.
- Ruben Neves - He’s wasting his time in Saudi Arabia, get him back to the Prem. Replaces Eriksen for me.
- Onana - Casemiro replacement, no questions asked.
- Olise - Seems to be Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s priority signing. The way he destroyed recently, why not?
- Toney - Ideal age and profile to complement Højlund in the squad. Excellent hold up play that should benefit the likes of Rashford and Garnacho.
I think if United want a huge investment on CB then Diomande would be perfect and Tosin Adarabioyo as free agent
For RB: Benjamin Henrichs can be a good option
LB: Antonee Robinson or Miguel Gutiérrez
CDM: Mats Wieffer
CM: Alex Garcia or Zubimendi
RW: Olise or Pedro Neto
ST: Toney or Guirassy (personally I’ll pick Guirassy over Toney since he is much cheaper)
Absolutely need is:
DM: Zubimendi
CB: Branthwaite
RW: Kudus / Mbeumo (Olise injury prone)
Out:
Antony
Sancho
Rashford
Zirkzee is a must if you are sticking with Rashford.. add greenwood and you have inverted strikers and somebody who could find them. Dumfries is a must as well. It is a good opportunity in the market. Dalot can play both sides and you need 2 good players on every position. I would add Andre from Fluminense as well. He reminds me a bit of Thiago. Maatsen is a good shout. I prefer Nuno Mendes Or Ait Nouri. Todibo à must as well.
dont think anyone seriously thinks Greenwood will be an option, and rightly so - guy is gone
when he said about the amount of back-4 combinations, one if them does include Bruno from what I believe was the FA Cup match against Liverpool? Say if I'm wrong here
Sommer budget might not be that low. I recon we get closer abit over 100m in sales, but we also offload close to half the wage bill (100m yearly) and the remaining players get their wage reduction too (25m).
Signing decently young players and keeping wages resonable is the key for the future too.
United will literally save money on the year on year budget by spending 350m in transfers this summer, as long as total wages are lower. Transfer cost are spread over5 yrars, wages isnt
Miguel Gutiérrez is my ideal LB with a release clause of 30mil euro it’s a no brainer. Guys a baller. Also Fofana from Monaco for 30mil or less is ideal.
My opinion:
RB: Sell Awb and get todibo- Good with ball, height would be an aerial advantage , can be drifted to midfield along with CDM.He can help us win aerial battles and he is an aggressive defender which can help us win duels in the midfield which we are lacking currently.
CB- Sell lindelof- Get Tosin from Fulham again good aerially.
Would love to have Diomande, can be a good partner to licha in defense as he is a different profile someone like Konate.
LB- Would love Di marco but dnt think its realistic, that guy is quality.
RW- I would like to see sancho back and would try to sell Antony instead and get Brahim Diaz as replacement. This would mean we have sancho as well as garnacho who could play in both wings.
Diallo can also be used in the right.
Striker back up- Would sell Greenwood and bring guirassy as he something different from what we have and i think him and holjand could play together as well. 17m release clause-think would be a steal.
Actually confused with CDM-couldn’t find any exciting options something close is Andre Onana -destroyer, could cover ground only thing i doubt is playing out from the back.
To be honest i would like Vitinha seems like there is a player in there -good with the ball, good passing range and could bring good competition to maino.
Given the kitty of around £200m-£250m,priority 2 CF,1 Midfield defensive,2 CB,1 R/L Back.
Also been able to pick up a free agent.
For sure United need Strong/Athletes signings Mature/Youthful Players.
Onana of Everton around £60-65 m.
CF Stuggart age 28 £20-25m
CD inter Milan age 25 £50-60m,even though conquered seria A,are a selling club.
United need to make sensible signings of the off Season.
United We Stand
i wonder if they can use harry amass for left back and use the budget for other position. just like other teens mainoo and garnacho.
two midfielders united should really look at are Manu Kone of Munchegladbach and Kephren Thuram of Nice physical, good on the ball battlers.
Normally you want good up and coming young players and while we should do that I think we’re in desperate need of experienced quality players that can grab a hold of the game in midfield
You should do it with every club
Could you do this for the rest of the big 6
I'm allowed to share my ideas about the players United can buy next season
CB: Todibo (Nice)
LB: Lino (Atletico)
DMF: Fofana (Monaco)
CMF: Gomes (Wolves)/ Saibari (PSV)
LWF: Kvaratskhelia (Napoli)
CF: Guirassy (Stuttgart)/Toney (Brentford)
Gutierrez from girona is the left back Man U have been linked with the most yet no mention
Love football content these days, open stat rubbish, read it on camera, upload
So insightful and entertaining
fair table
Great content. I would add Andres Pierra to replace Christian Erikson.
Cannot see Palinha, age profile does not make sense at his fee. Would be phenomenal in that 30-40m range but NO WAY Fulham will allow him to leave for anything under 60. You may as well get Amadou Onana now, who has 5 years on him to develop.
CBs-Tosin (free), Todibo and Branthwaite/Yoro
DM- Onana/Weiffer
CM-Fofana
RW-Olise
ST-Zirkzee
Gino Rutter can put in a shift at striker and we definitely need someone to back Bruno cuz he wont be able to keep this grind up for many more years to come. He would also be fun to watch.
