Any chance of an externally serviced lav on the EVO? Walking back to the rear, pulling that lav out, giving it to a lineman and then dragging it back to the lav station and setting it back up seems pretty draconian in this day and age. About the only negative thing I can say about the Piaggio. The EVO cut down on quite a bit of the external noise which is a very good thing!
the disadvantage is noise for the airport, it's a noisy plane and sometimes therefore restricted where it can land. That said, it is indeed the ferrari of the turboprops with great comfort, good range and stunning looks. If only they had teamed up with a partner, it could have been delivered in much greater numbers at a more competitive price
The p180 is not a canard and does not have a canard wing. It is a three lifting surface airplane with all three wings providing positive lift. Unlike a canard, the forward wing is fixed and has no moveable surfaces. Also, the range is greatly impacted by load. The more passengers the shorter the range,so it is rare to see the full range of 1500 miles. It is still a magnificent airplane with the most comfortable cabin of any airplane in its class, and amazing efficiency. It should also be mentioned the significant scandals which so greatly impacted the plane’s acceptance. With a fleet size of only around 200 planes, parts availability is questionable, but more importantly, the company is in a state of limbo and there are questions about its ability to survive. Such an amazing airplane with such an incredible story.
You're bang on, with one minor correction. The front wings DO have flaps (at least on the latest models) while they're not elevators or ailerons, they are movable surfaces.
In response to a request for planes to consider on your site I am recommending the Saab Safari/Supporter. This GA airplane is quite unusual in terms of its swept forward wing and aerobatic capability. And the history surrounding it is also quite interesting especially as it relates to Carl Gustov VonRosen's involvement.
Nice aircraft. The only downside for me is pneumatic boots on the air intakes of all things. It’s a pity it did not have enough bleed air to heat them like the wings or enough electrical power to heat them like the canard leading edge. It seems odd. I can just visualise the boots breaking off chunks of ice in bad icing and getting sucked in despite the inertial separators. But.. no such incidents have happened in its career so it obviously works just fine. The fully enclosed toilet compartment is a real winner. The starship was innovative but thats it, it was a total disaster for maintenance and costs. Even though it was made out of composites v Avanti’s aluminium it was not as fast nor had the same range even with bigger engines. Nah, the Avanti wins hands down.
Jet speeds at turboprop economy, this was a no brainer that it would be successful. It looks awesome too!
My dream plane!!!
Piaggio is beautiful, ofc from Italy, so stylish and elegant, & so are french planes !!!
Highly sophisticated engineering… Shows British Aston Martin. 😂

very far sighted opinion congrats ''Baykar''(biggest drone company in world) bought this company
Great video, as always. You showed a single picture, but could you also do the Piaggio P 166C Albatross?
Some body, please bring back the Beech Starship to life!!!!!!!!!!!!!🛫🛫🛫

You are totally correct!
They have flaps on it,piece of shit a/c
Great plane; I luv it. 👌🫶🏻🎸😎
Baykar bought Piaggio Aero. The P180 shall have a bright future. We'll see many military variants, maybe unmanned too.

"...not going to delve deeper into it. However i would love to hear your opinions in the comments below."..so.. plant the seed, then back off?
Have you ever heard of Piaggio p166? Same configuration thousand years before the starship
You came second
canard
Something looks suspicious, better not look into that.. 🤦🏽♂️
