Poor little Kaylee seems to be so perfection orientated at such a young age. Would like to see her sing a bright, bubbly song that suits her young personality. I can see why she chose a mature concept to align herself with the others and remain competitive, but unfortunately it didn't work. She's such a quick learner, and will bounce back.
We know she'd do great with a cute song but the fact that she can sing with such a deep voice at her age is crazy, I think she was right to show that off. However her skill level is not yet at the point where she should be singing an Adele song.

I love how JYP encourages these girls! He’s very very keen but how he evaluates them shows the many years of real talent and experience in this business. He truly is perfect to be in this position.
I like that, too. I'm glad he's not part of a panel like he's been on other shows. His philosophy on talent is different probably because he's been there as opposed to the heads of other big agencies like YG. He's looking pass what the others look for.
They all did great in this vocal evaluation but Melissa delivered a PERFORMANCE, really proud of her!!! I hope she gets to be a part of the debut team, she really deserves it !!

I started crying when I saw Kaylee cry. I know being offbeat is a really big mistake you can make, but she clearly worked hard and her singing was amazing. I don't understand why Kendall got the stone instead, especially since her singing (imo) was mediocre. She also placed higher than Lexi yesterday which baffled me because her dancing improved so much and her duality is insane. I really hope Kaylee can debut and JYP will stop being so biased.
I think JYP compare Kendall during audition and bootcamp, to show how she improved from before. This is my observation because I have been watched JYP other survival programs like Nizi Project Season 1 and 2.
i almost cried with kaylee! i know the feeling of wanting so badly not to cry but not being able to stop it, and then hyperventilating because crying made you even more nervous and embarrassed 😭 she did very well, especially with the song she picked though.

@@RIQS-f8u it was merely a moment where she was swept in discouragement and she couldn't control herself emotionally, its okay to show weakness and especially where she's at the age where she is highly emotionally vulnerable. it's true that the industry can have some rough patches but kaylee seems smart enough to know that she was going to face these problems going-in, and she works hard to improve so that she can stay where she wants to be. focusing on the negative aspects of her tears and calling her emotionally immature isn't supporting her at all, and don't you think your word choice is a bit extreme? crying is only human and i think your forgetting that if she passes the evaluation process, she most likely/potentially wouldn't debut at age 12-13 and would have more time to mature and grow in Korea. also many successful idols have debuted around her age and have matured so much throughout their time in the industry. take BTS' jungkook for example, he became a trainee at the age of 13 and debuted at the age of 15, and he is now a huge inspiration and role-model to so many people, IVE's Leesoo debuted even younger at the age of 14, and up to now she stands as a beautiful and inspiring vocalist to many of her fans. so please don't say things like "she's emotionally immature" and "she cries that easily" because kaylee is very smart and has so much potential so focusing on her not so best moments isn't supporting her at all and you really should be rooting for her to keep on standing up, and you should focus on that she is able to improve, mature, and grow from her bad moments so that she can accomplish her dreams and goals. and really don't base her entire emotional reactions off of the one or two emotional moments she had, cause you should know that certain actions don't make up the whole of how a person reacts all the time.
Melissa surprised us! What a powerful singing performance. I got goosebump while she's singing. I thought she will just stay in the chair while singing but no. I didn't saw it coming. For me, She's definitely the best singer of the group at the moment and I can't wait for the next episode. Fighting for the rest of the group
OH... MY..... WORD!!!!!!! I honestly didn't expect that from Melissa 😮. I loved how confident she was throughout the whole performance, yes perfomance because she did not just sing. She gave a full on performance. What I was most surprised about is not how good she is, but when, where, and how she sang melodical changes. I mean she didn't even have to over do it with her runs and vibrato, and yet it was impactful enough and really sounded like her own. The choices she made throughout the song was very tastefully done, and that can only be done if you are confident enough. I like that JYP pointed out how she didn't change or do anything in the parts where mostly covers artists do the most, but instead she went for the unexpected. I'm also amazed of how she delivered the song emotionally. I mean at her age, to be able to deliver a mature emotion is not easy. Sooo good job Melissa. Keep it up!!! To all the girls, FIGHTING!!!! I sincerely hope that they can all make it. They all work so hard. ❤

Poor little Kaylee seems to be so perfection orientated at such a young age. Would like to see her sing a bright, bubbly song that suits her young personality. I can see why she chose a mature concept to align herself with the others and remain competitive, but unfortunately it didn't work. She's such a quick learner, and will bounce back.

I'm sad Kaylee seemed so nervous, i hope she's able to stress less on her vocals being perfect so she can focus more on stage presence and keeping the beat. and poor Kendall, her voice sounded pretty rough, but I'm glad JYP was able to hear through it and see her skill and potential. I started crying when I saw Kaylee cry. I know being offbeat is a really big mistake you can make, but she clearly worked hard and her singing was amazing. I don't understand why Kendall got the stone instead, especially since her singing (imo) was mediocre. She also placed higher than Lexi yesterday which baffled me because her dancing improved so much and her duality is insane. I really hope Kaylee can debut and JYP will stop being so biased.
I think JYP compare Kendall during audition and bootcamp, to show how she improved from before. This is my observation because I have been watched JYP other survival programs like Nizi Project Season 1 and 2.

@@RIQS-f8u it was merely a moment where she was swept in discouragement and she couldn't control herself emotionally, its okay to show weakness and especially where she's at the age where she is highly emotionally vulnerable. it's true that the industry can have some rough patches but kaylee seems smart enough to know that she was going to face these problems going-in, and she works hard to improve so that she can stay where she wants to be. focusing on the negative aspects of her tears and calling her emotionally immature isn't supporting her at all, and don't you think your word choice is a bit extreme? crying is only human and i think your forgetting that if she passes the evaluation process, she most likely/potentially wouldn't debut at age 12-13 and would have more time to mature and grow in Korea. also many successful idols have debuted around her age and have matured so much throughout their time in the industry. take BTS' jungkook for example, he became a trainee at the age of 13 and debuted at the age of 15, and he is now a huge inspiration and role-model to so many people, IVE's Leesoo debuted even younger at the age of 14, and up to now she stands as a beautiful and inspiring vocalist to many of her fans. so please don't say things like "she's emotionally immature" and "she cries that easily" because kaylee is very smart and has so much potential so focusing on her not so best moments isn't supporting her at all and you really should be rooting for her to keep on standing up, and you should focus on that she is able to improve, mature, and grow from her bad moments so that she can accomplish her dreams and goals. and really don't base her entire emotional reactions off of the one or two emotional moments she had, cause you should know that certain actions don't make up the whole of how a person reacts all the time.
Melissa surprised us! What a powerful singing performance. I got goosebump while she's singing. I thought she will just stay in the chair while singing but no. I didn't saw it coming. For me, She's definitely the best singer of the group at the moment and I can't wait for the next episode.

OH... MY..... WORD!!!!!!! I honestly didn't expect that from Melissa 😮. I loved how confident she was throughout the whole performance, yes perfomance because she did not just sing. She gave a full on performance. What I was most surprised about is not how good she is, but when, where, and how she sang melodical changes. I mean she didn't even have to over do it with her runs and vibrato, and yet it was impactful enough and really sounded like her own. The choices she made throughout the song was very tastefully done, and that can only be done if you are confident enough. I like that JYP pointed out how she didn't change or do anything in the parts where mostly covers artists do the most, but instead she went for the unexpected. I'm also amazed of how she delivered the song emotionally. I mean at her age, to be able to deliver a mature emotion is not easy. Sooo good job Melissa. Keep it up!!! To all the girls, FIGHTING!!!! I sincerely hope that they can all make it. They all work so hard. ❤
